The service was great. She constantly checked on us, the other staff* members were just as friendly.
It has 2 settings, an outside pub like vibe and an indoor fine dining feel.
The beer is good for beer lovers.
Their prices are quite affordable.
The food was good.

You can even take a 6pack for a friend.
So beer lovers should definitely make a turn here
The views are breath taking

Good locally produced beer as well as other drinks such as cider. The restaurant offers a very nice beer tasting menu. Open and airy local and nice outdoor seating. The outdoor terrace also offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The only minus was that the staff could have shown a little more involvement and told a little about the different beers and the history behind them and their names. Plus, though, for the brewer and the owner came out to hear what we liked about the beer.

Great restaurant with a beautiful mountain view. Food was excellent. Craft beers also a must try. This restaurant offers you a unique experience. Our waitress was on the ball, great service. I highly recommend Sabie Brewing Co. to all, South African and international tourists.

What a fantastic brewery and restaurant. The beers were not the best, but the Shangaan Stout was great. The view is also great. The food was excellent, especially the battered hake and the pan fried trout. There is also a great selection of local produce available, e.g. Beer soap, coffee, etc.

Update: They have reopened as Picasso s Mexican Restaurant but they still have the brewery on location with draft beer. The menu is the same as the White River location in the Bagdad Plaza. They even have a wood fired pizza oven. Clean bathrooms with soap and towels, no WiFi but I had a good signal with Vodacom. Food was exactly as the White River location and the managers stopped by several times to make sure everything was okay. Great view of the mountains, great Mexican food and great draft beer.

Really really good. We started with the on tap ginger beer just to quench our thirst, ended up having to before we started with some beers, which was equally good. We went again 2 days later just for the good ginger beer. The pizzas were perfect, whichnis made in a wood burning pizza oven outside, which really adds to the ambience. The seating outside has beautiful views of the surrounding areas. If you are traveling or just passing through Sabie, this brewery is well worth a stop. Will definitely go again, and again, and again

Great place to stop for a pub lunch and a craft beer. We ordered the burger and craft beer special and the chicken schnitzel. The burger patty could of had abit more flavor, and a myshrrom sauce would have been better with the schnitzel. However all in all, had a great lunch and drink in sabie.

A must if you like craft beer! Great selection to suit all tastes. The menu is put together very well with a variety of delicious dishes from light nibbles to generous mains, sharing options and a good mix of vegetarian dishes. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the brewmaster is happy to explain his process and answer any questions you may have.

Kind of missed the point. Unlike many other craft brewers, one must pay R70 for a tasting tray....R210 for 3 of us......before you even start ? Bit rich for us so we settled for craft gin and tonic.....but only Schweppes tonic, nothing different to go with the gin. I had the ginger beer......much nicer with a couple of tots of mainstay cane spirit added. Signs of "Good Food", could be replaced with "Fairly Good Food", good chicken strips, but dare I say oven chips?, very overcooked and overspiced. Meat platter very ordinary, would be hugely improved as a cold meats and salad platter(add coleslaw and Potato salad)with pickles and breads. Curried beans were outstanding. My bratwurst was ...well just fairly tasteless boiled sausage on a roll.....no chutney, no relish, no mustard.....(once we asked we did get some)

On the whole badly underwhelming, and slow service to boot, even though the server was cheerful and hospitable.

Like most craftt breweries, the beer might be ok, but the rest is just not ok

This is a fantastic brewery! Loved the place! Not too expensive as well, extremely good value for money. They also have a really nice food menu. The only downside is the two resident roosters that love to make their rooster noises as you sit outside. But if you dont mind that, then the place is fantastic, worth a visit if you are in Sabie.

Stories and descriptions on the beer-menu of each of the 7 brews are entertaining! The stout, IPA and Weiss good. Others lacking body and the fruit beer to sweet for me! Brewing equipment is impressive for such a small plant. Bar and in/outdoor restaurant good standard with an adequate menu.

Good selection of craft beer with a good view of the scenery surrounding Sabie. Some facilities for kids to play and good seating for bigger as well as smaller parties. The menu has a good variety of meals to choose from. The food quality is reasonable but the service was very slow.
