What is Barcelona? These are beautiful people, this wonderful warm sea, this discos until the morning, this bathing at dawn, with the observation of how the giant sun shines from the horizon over the world! I fell in love in Barcelona, am confident that love will capture and you! one of the pieces of the puzzle of an amazing holiday is a stay at the Pullman Skipper hotel! Delicious Breakfast, Amazing view of the sea and the Olympic port! The hotel staff surrounds you with care and satisfaction of your importance!

Bery nice hotel. Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and top ranked clubs. Room was very large with floor to ceiling windows and awesome views of the city and all monuments. Floors squeaking was the only minor issue. Staff was overly curteous. Breakfast was very good.

Pullman Barcelona is a top hotel. In terms of facilities its 5 stars worth it. Nice rooms, friendly staff, great food. Yet a hotel experience depends on how well you sleep. That's what it's all about after all. Unfortunately the sleeping experience is very bad. I slept on the fifth floor and wanted to sleep late. That didn't work because the traffic rushes past your windows from 0700 onwards. The windows are unfortunately not thick enough to withstand the noise sufficiently. This means that I give the stay, however beautiful, an insufficient. If this is not resolved, I will certainly not return here.

An authentic hidden gem in Barcelona.
Excellent value for money in a modern 5-star hotel, ideal for leisure with your partner or family (two minutes from the beach) and for business with the Convention Center.
Excellent views from the upper terrace pool. Very comfortable and functional rooms.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel located by the sea.
Very nice staff and very professional.
A very beautiful establishment irreproachable. Gargantuan breakfast. Two swimming pools including one on the fabulous roof with on-site catering.

5 star hotel. Fantastic. Superior junior suite. Perfect room, 2 zones, large, jacuzzi ... very good and cozy decoration. all kinds of services. Ocean view The staff, very attentive and kind; I tried above all with Mr. Guillermo. A gentleman But everyone was very attentive. Basement parking lot, parking lot. In the kitchen, they attended the small modifications I asked about the menu. No complaints, all excellent.
To return there, without a doubt.

The hotel is located near the beach and the clubs. Port Olympic is 10mn by walk.
The city, shops are 15-20mn away by walk.

The rooms are big and clean but if you have rooms on the street side, there is no view and many small windows. Found it dark.
The pools are nice .

The breakfast is very good. The staff is very nice and friendly. They give you nice recommandations.

When first checking in, we were told that you required 50 euro per night of our stay, when before we come this was never explained to me. All of my reservation was completed via email with Mana and another member of the reception/sales team.

The middle aged man that checked us in (I do not remember his name), did not explain one thing about the hotel. He did not tell us the times for breakfast, pool opening and closing, didn't give us any cards for towels for the pool area, simply gave us our room key and walked away. Absolutely terrible customer service - as a travel agent I was simply appalled that anyone can greet a customer and treat them this way!

I was then harassed for over an hour saying that if I did not give them a copy of the card and ID of my travel agency, that I would have to pay again for the first nights stay, when I had already paid in full for the duration of my 7 night stay, which I find absolutely disgusting that no manager at the hotel can come to a resolution without threatening a customer.

On the 17/06/17 the roof top pool was in fact closed for a private party! This should not be allowed, on a Saturday afternoon all of the hotel guests descended upon the downstairs pool with in total about 12 - 15 beds! When guests are paying for a hotel they expect all facilities to be on offer, at all times. I could not believe this when we arrived upstairs and they told us to go to the downstairs pool, with people sitting on towels around the decking area as there was a lack of beds.

The staff at the front desk are rude, abrupt and quite frankly have no customer service skills. I arrived at the front desk one afternoon around 12 noon, as there were no beds around the downstairs pool.
The young man at the front desk (who I later found out was in training) looked at me and asked me "what do you want me to do?", I said to him "I am not sure, I want a bed to sit on as there is clearly not enough beds around the pool, so I would like you to find out if there are any spare?". I couldn't believe his attitude and manner towards me, as a guest, asking me what I want him to do, with a sarcastic smirk on his face!

A manager on duty then came out from the back office, informed me that there is enough beds around the pool, I asked him how he got to that conclusion as there was around 10 people now without beds sitting on arm chairs! The original man who was speaking to me was standing next to him and began to laugh at me! I asked him what was funny and he rolled his eyes and had no response. I cannot believe that staff can deal with guests this way, I have stayed in many 4, 5, 6 and 7 star accommodations and I have never been treated this way!

The cleanliness of the rooms were not exactly up to scratch - we left food on the table in the corner for the maid to clear, which was left there for over 3 days. We had to leave them outside the door in order for them to be taken after the 3rd day, as the food had started to rot!
The room had also not been hoovered daily, as around the edges of the room was dust, hair and other bits of dirt, which is not what you expect from a 5 star accommodation.

We booked over email, gave card details etc, then when we turned up they said we didn't have a room because we had cancelled it. We hadn't. They immediately said it was our fault and said the hotel was full and no rooms. GREAT! We forwarded emails to prove confirmation. We then waited 3 hours while they tried to sort it out. We got a room but no apology. Disgraceful behaviour. Then during our 5 day stay they messed up every room service order with a wrong item. The one time i ordered breakfast to the room i couldn't eat the eggs as it was just salt taste. and thats all the breakfast was, eggs and bread. No bacon offered. They have a great pool on the roof - all three of our cards didn't work to get access, we needed to bang on the window to other guests to get them to open the door or call down to reception and wait 5 mins. At this pool they dont deliver drinks or food which we couldn't believe. They then shut this pool for 'refurbishment' for 3 of the 5 days we were there. This was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. The downstairs pool isn't heated and is more of a show pool. its colder than the sea. They then proceeded to ask us to leave this pool at 5pm one day so they could set up an event for that evening. The service from all staff was poor, they weren't interested. We felt this is a hotel set up for corporate events and business meetings, not a holiday destination. We also could hear the music in the breakfast restaurant in our room up on the third floor every morning for 7am. We visited the W Hotel one day for a drink and the service was impeccable. I recommend staying there. The only good things are location and the room with balcony is nice. Thats why its not 1 star. they did give us 1 night free but still this isn't acceptable for the experience.

First experience in this hotel. As usually I am rating first my contact with the reception (rating 5/5) . My room (junior suite following an upgrade) was pretty cool, bed quality good, the TV screen looks pretty small, large bathroom with shower and bath. Starting today I will aldo systematically remove 1 points each time I will see carpets in a hotel room. I was on the 2nd floor the room was pretty noisy by night, despite closed windows (rating 3/5). Last I had the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast in the main restaurant, the bar restaurant right after the reception and the catering in the meeting rooms all very good with an outstanding service quality. (Rating 5/5). Globally I will give (3/5) because of the room experience but we are really close to 4.

We came to spend the day at the pool (which is very clean and sunny all day) with some friends: very friendly staff and willing to inform and help at all times. All the staff speak Catalan, the food is very good, the service is excellent, fast and professional. We will be back for sure :)

excellent,

Good hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast is better to order on the spot, rather than through booking: on-site 18 euros per person, through booking -28 euros. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer, an electric clothes dryer, slippers, bathrobes, a disposable razor. There is a kettle in the room, tea / coffee set, three Russian channels: TNT, Russia and Russia 24. The rooftop pool is small in size with three bathrooms. Convenient location of the hotel-near bus and tourist stops: D20-up to Plaza Espanya (light-music fountains and a shopping center from the bullring) V21- to Sagrada Familia. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the port, though it s not cheap and tasty everywhere. On the beach there are no sun beds and umbrellas, bought an umbrella in a shop near the beach.

The Pullman Barcelona Skipper was a great choice for our honeymoon! The staff was incredibly friendly and we joked that the second you set foot in the lobby, someone eagerly offered to assist you with anything you needed. The front desk staff was very polite and professional and overall just very pleasant to deal with. Definitely a different customer service experience than hotels in America! The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to our favorite area of the city (El Born - thanks Monica at the front desk for that suggestion!) and also very close to the beach. We'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Barcelona!
