If I could give them a ZERO star I would. They are ridiculous. We found out there was a judgement against me from a hospital- while closing on a house, and called and paid it immediately. They sent out the warrant to satisfy judgement, so we sent that with a check to the court to get this off my record, and got a return letter stating THE ORIGINAL PLEADING WAS NOT SIGNED !!!!! they make people s lives hell for no reason! Do your job correctly! We should have to call repeatedly to get you to fix your stupid mistakes!!!!!!!

Terrible company, I have been trying to contact about a lawsuit filed for a debt that was already settled and never got an actual person on the phone. Unprofessional business practices in this type of setting is ridiculous. I hope my countersuit for damages shuts them down!!!

I've spent thousands to get my credit fixed.. They agreed to send me a letter by mail that the collection was paid in full.. Has been 3 months and every time I call they bs w some excuse.. Please don't trust them theyre not a trusty company..
I ve honestly dealt with them on three separate occasions. Each were with a different creditor. They were very professional and worked with me and each time I ended up paying what I actually owed the original creditors. They re a credit collector and have to do their job. I don t think their rating is accurate. Look I don t like having to pay back gouging interest hungry creditors but it was my debt.

I had to help a family member with a credit collection issue. I spoke with Michael ext 5502 and I was not expecting to be helped. Michael went through all options and helped us. There should be more people like Michael, who solve the issue quickly.
Total scammers...they need to be investigated and shut down....they garnished first my pension..which is Illigal and the judge reversed it now they took my child support also illegal....shouldn't they no that.....they are bogus want to be lawyers that rip off the public...they work for sketchy companies that pull up bogus claims... He was patient, understanding and responsive to my questions, concerns and calls. If you are hesitant in contacting P, F & W to handle your debt, don't be. You will be happy and relieved once you do!

Don't use way too amphibious, they are a collection agent. So successful that they can get default judgment and go beyond the years of the statue of limitations. Bionic collection agents with the stroke of a key on a keyboard can suck the money from your dead soul. A collection station who wished with they could collect on 3 shifts 24/7, using poor people to get money from homeless poor people. What a racket. A collection place that wished they could call you at 3am to demand money. Wow if i had that job i'd hang myself. Can you image the stress at that job.
This place probably does not deserve the amount hate it gets in these reviews. If you have a problem with garnishment or dept collecting laws and enforcement take it up with your local congressman or senator, or vote for people who will address those issues.
I set up a payment plan with them for my 10 year old credit card dept that I had accrued as a teenager, and payed on time every month. I've never waited more than 5 minutes to get someone on the phone to check the balance or make a payment. Employees were professional over the phone. My credit report is also updated every month to reflect the payment made.
I spent the money, I didn't pay it back, I suffered the consequences, but I don't blame this company for it.
Strange situation , Agreed to pay them full amount on monthly basis because they don't seek or accept any kind of settlement & can't access my account online , make me feel like they want me to be in default, called more than three times to solve problem but no one to help , even they don't respond to email , hope no one goes through this situation, customer service very polite but decision maker owns greed without limits
this company is reckless never returns voicemail and emails. i have been trying to get ahold of some one for some questions about a contract they have and no success for months. i guess they do not want my account to be paid so i can better my credit. because of them i am starting to have bad credit. such criminals. if you need anything these people can do never go to them they wont do it in a professional and timely manor

I spoke with Digna at Ext 5545, and she was incredibly kind, and polite making the whole process painless. We were able to figure out my account, and come to an agreement to which hopefully the company sticks to. Highly recommend speaking with her if you need help.
This firm is the most unprofessional lying bunch of collectors. I had identity thief which was $285.00 the principal was it was not my debt, and it was from about 20 some years ago. They claim they contact you then go to court to garnish your wages without you having any knowledge of the court date. You realize it when the money is coming out of your pay check. I fought this for a year sending all the information of my residence and police report etc. Then you finally get to deal with the court and they are clueless on any of the information you have sent them on your behalf, or even reviewing any of the documents sent before talking to you. It is like the court benefits if they have you lose your case. I believe they probably have a office next to the garnishment court room. It is ashame the justice system runs in the manner it does and doesnt see who the real guilty party is. There is no justice anymore how sad is that...
Very professional worked with them for 5 months to pay off a very old debt finally completed my payments and each time the representative was very nice and explained everything best way to pay would be over the phone. Sad to say I had fallen this far but warshaw LLP helped me out.

Some if the nastiest people I have ever met. They twist the law to the fullest extent and get away with it because one of the owners has government officials in his pocket. This way his company can screw over anyone and get away with it.
They garnished my wages to collect for a company I've never heard of and obviously never been to.
I hired a lawyer to fight them and he said that I do have a case because there is no proof I was ever at this so called company. But because of how deep this company is connected, they can get away with murder and nobody can touch them, so it wasn't worth it.

All companies are willing to help me and give me all the information soon as I called this place oh my Lord you re being very sarcastic and not answering my questions and telling me and putting me on hold constantly not willing to make a one time payment deal I just hung up calling my attorney.

Pressler & Pressler is the worst law firm I have ever dealt with and I'm an attorney who has dealt with plenty of law firms, It is almost impossible to speak to an attorney. They have their "paralegals" do almost everything. They don't answer emails and make you wait an excessive time on the phone. Their payment system declined my payment even though my credit card company told me that the payment went through, so it seems clear Pressler made a mistake on their end. I just had to speak to four people to make my payment because their "paralegals" are not helpful (except the last one I spoke to who seemed fine). As an attorney who would never run a firm like this, I can honestly say that I would be homeless before I would work for or own a firm like this. It's embarrassing to me that I share a profession with the attorneys who founded, manage, and work at Pressler. And, a quick Google search shows that the firm has been fined over consumer lawsuits. These attorneys are the attorneys who give all of us a bad name. What a shame.

sent me paperwork about being sued and filed for wage garnishment. When I tried on numerous days and times to get a hold of someone using the phone numbers and fax number on their letterhead the calls do not go through. I have also emailed them several times with no response. I spoke to someone back in September and agreed upon terms to pay off a balance, but when I specifically asked who I made out payment to, they could not help me and now again they want to sue me. No Help At All! Is this company for real?

They froze my bank account and took what little money I had for a 17 year old debt that I didn't know I had. I never received a letter from them about the judgement. I'm unemployed and sick at the moment. The money they took was for my medication and transportation to and from the doctor's. I recieved less than a hundred a month from child support and they want me to send them that every month as a payment arrangement to unfreeze my bank account. Can't afford any legal help to fight this.

Folks if they sue you, make sure you show up to the court date. DO NOT let them win by default. Chances are they wont show up, ruling in your favor. If they attach your bank account appeal it right away especially if its a joint account. Other than that they are like any other bill collector.
