its a scam. the deductible is what your annual vet bills cost so you end up with next to no reimbursement. the insurance costs me about 450 annualy. my vet bills are about 100-130 annualy. and remember this is per animal. each animal has its own seperate deductible and plan that way the can really bleed you for every coin you have. save your money, their customer service is piss poor and they hit you with the "theres nothing i can do" anytime you have an issue. the 450 you save annually will be enough to cover vet costs and probably get your pet a nice bed.

I submitted my first claim March 31'st I sent 3 emails and no one still responded to me as of yet. BUT they do take their money every month

They take the maximum amount of time to pay the claim.
They take close to a month to finish a review
Majority of their emails are sent after business hours, so you always have to wait the next business day to call them back.
I regret signing up with them.

We have paid into the plan for nearly 4 years and just made our first claim for a routine dental cleaning. We paid extra for better coverage. The vet submitted our claim on Feb 6th. It is now April 3rd and nothing reimbursed. It s nearly impossible to get through to them but after several tries over the course of 2 weeks we finally got through. We were told they had our claim and it was submitted for processing. Nearly 4 weeks later and still nothing and we couldn t get through by phone so we sent an email. It took 2 weeks for them to respond stating that we already called a month earlier and the claim was being processed. A few days later I was told the same response by someone else. So after 8 weeks we are still waiting with no response.
This is the first negative review I ve given in my life. I m not a complainer. But this is the worst experience I ve ever had with an insurance company. After paying over $2600.00 into the plan and waiting this long for a simple claim to be processed, or to get a response, I would not recommend this company.
Go elsewhere.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Got insurance when I got my cat 4 years ago, never had a claim. Had emergency vet visit last month, vet submitted paperwork. I can't get through to them by phone, emailed several times, their chat feature said they received nothing yet I got emails saying they received my paperwork. Does this company even exist? Of course they keep taking money out of my bank account. I've filed a complain with BBB and will be having my bank stop any further withdrawls. Discusting how this so called business is allowed to even keep it's doors open!

A REAL SCAM !!!! it asks you for documents that you have already sent. They do NO FOLLOW-UP on your requests so you wait wait wait and never hear from you again,

He only wants your money. Deductibles are rediculous. Save money and make your own budget !!!!

Worst insurance ever, I do not recommend to anybody to insure their children (pets), I want everybody to know to not do same mistake as I did about 7 years ago, tons of money from me and nothing in return when your child need it. They are tricking you big time, very BIG THIEVES. Open yourself an account and put every months few dollars and you will be more happy then to be with a company which only is stealing from people without helping them when they are in need. VERY POOR QUALITY.

It is the biggest insurance scam . I had this policy for 14 years and everytime I submitted a claim , they find an excuse to not pay . They were not even compassionate when we had to let our furry baby go . With deductible and co-insurance you are better to open a bank account and keep paying the same amount as insurance premium into that . When you need for your pet , you can withdraw. Hope no one ever works with this insurance company based out of Winnipeg . Horrible people !

They were prompt with payment and easy to get ahold of. My experience was very good

Not impressed. After having paid into the plan for nine years they are not only almost impossible to get ahold of but payment takes forever.
After we get a "partial" payment for our dogs lump removal we will cancel.
It is smarter moneywise to save the dollars yourself and pay out of pocket. Cheaper in the long run.

Terrible company. They require repeated paperwork to be filled out by the vet for the same condition for our dog. Nothing has changed, the claims are the same and so is her condition so why does the vet have to keep filling out this paperwork? And it's not even online! It's hardcopy print out because they have no digital signature option. Not helpful at all during a pandemic. They also only accept claims for 6 months, so if like us, you submit at the end of the year they don't pay because they have a policy saying that they don't want to. We should have went with Truepanion. Don't waste your time here.

Submitted claims with a response received, then found out they did not and had to resubmit. Waiting several weeks for 3 claims to be processed. Just not acceptable. Would not recommend
