We used to really like this pub as a quiet spot after work. Recently there has been an annoying trend where the tables in the front half of the bar are reserved, leaving very little space for everyone else.
Also the beer selection, availability and quality (taste and gas) have been iffy recently.

Came in on the day that Lady ottoline was celebrating its birthday. What a great atmosphere! There was a Dj by the bar who was playing amazing tunes! Bar service was really friendly and quick. Snacks and cake was great! Next birthday celebration is a must!

A civilised pub downstairs with an open fireplace ...

A civilised pub downstairs with an open fireplace and lots of dark wood. Upstairs offers upscale gastro food in an atmospheric dining room filled with nostalgic wall art and old posters. Good gin choice, fantastic cherry ice cream and carefully prepared mains.

If you are looking for a quiet place to eat out, The Lady Ottoline is your best choice. The food is fantastic here - always freshly prepared and very well presented. The staff is polite and most importantly, not pushy.
Definitely recommend it.
