Busy downstairs with Friday night drinkers a couple of weeks ago, the dining room upstairs was surprisingly quiet.
We were a group with lots to talk about and the location, food and service were perfect.
This was my fifth visit - but over 3 years. My expectations have always been exceeded, whether by a gin recommendation, an interesting angle on a traditional menu item, relaxed but attentive service, use of the private dining room or just an all-round great experience.
Opening hours have been extended to every day which is much appreciated.
