Had Sunday Roast today at 2pm - they were running out of meats and the veg was limited to peas, carrots - what happened to seasonal greens, cauliflower cheese and roast parsnips. They had also run out of the one and only cheese on the desert menu. It was not very busy, so was a bit of a mystery why they seemed so ill prepared. The ground floor furniture has also been changed since we last visited - the light coloured wood tables do not match the rest of the decor.

We have been many times before on both Sunday s and weekdays and what used to be a brilliant, cosy and innovative gastro pub has clearly lost its mojo. They need someone to put some sparkle back in the place or we will find another cosy Sunday venue, which would be a crying shame.
