Reviews are always case-by-case issues; so, if it was happening every day, then I don't think businesses would be in operation. I had a pleasant time, saw people with pets, solo travelers, families, and generally happy people staying. I generally have a pleasant stay with chain hotels like Hilton.

This place is in the middle of a major renovation but you would never know. Be sure to ask for a newly renovated room. I think the manager said they were about half way through the renovation the rooms are very chic and well appointed.
