The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My complaint is the noise. There is a cooling or heating unit on the East side of the hotel on the ground floor that makes a repetive sound like a turbine winding up and down constantly, making it impossible to sleep. Also, the a/c in one of the rooms adjacent to ours sounded like an out of balance washer on a rinse cycle banging against the wall. Needless to say between the two noises we didn t get much sleep. I wouldn t come back unless I could be assured the noise level would be less on the West side of the hotel.

This hotel is terrible. I am a Titanium member and stay at Marriott properties every week, and this hotel does not live up to the Marriott reputation, at all. Marriott should revoke the owners franchise and make them take the name off of the building. I had to call about 5 times and go to the front desk to get towels, as there were only 2 in the room and they were stained with something brown. The towels didn't arrive until about 5 hours after the last time I requested them. There was only one hand towel, one bar of hand soap, and a bottle of conditioner. No shampoo, bath soap, etc. In fact, they didn't have shampoo the entire 5 nights I was there. This is something that they should have in abundance. The AC made was very loud and made the entire wall vibrate. The carpet in the halls is stained, was never vacuumed, and looked to be as old as the building. The service here was terrible, also. Nobody seemed to care that i was not happy. Another thing I found disturbing is that the ice cream sandwiches in the freezer had clearly melted, due to a recent power outage, and were not thrown out. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lobby and most services are excellent. 5ht floor concierge lounge is a great service. Pool is cool. There are some details however that are missing. One of the elevators was not working while there and with a 20 floor hotel that should be priority to get up and running. There was a dirty smell in bathroom after it was serviced and a couple of minor maintenance and cosmetic issues (brown paint on elevator wall, railing in elevator loose, shower rod holder out of whack, etc). Overall a good place but it could quickly slip into disrepair if not taken care of. Very friendly staff and best gym I have seen in a hotel in a long time.

After being on the road all day to start our family vacation, my family and I walked into our room on the 15th floor only to be welcomed by the pungent odor of marijuana. We notified the manager on duty and he proceeded to verify our claim by taking a whiff of our room. He confirmed the smell coming from the adjoining room and looked into moving us to another room. He then let us know that there were no other rooms as they were completely booked!?! It's bad policy for ANY hotel to be booked to capacity in the event that there are issues with rooms (ex. plumbing, electrical or other issues). This is unacceptable, poor management. Not only did we have no where of clean air quality to sleep in this hotel, but they did nothing to the pot smokers forcing us from our room. So to put it bluntly, this hotel cares more about the comfort of the pot smokers than law-abiding family vacationers.
Also, this hotel says it has a pool on Google and Google maps shows one, but it does not.

We caked and said we would be arriving early after a 15 hr drive and inquired about early Arrival and room availability. We were assured this would not be a problem and they took our number to call when the room was ready. Then arrived at 9am and the room want ready. They Asked us to go eat breakfast abd it should be ready by 1030 and they would call us when it was! No call! We went back at 1030, not ready. 230pm, no ready. 340 finally ready but they didn't call us! We were exhausted from driving straight through and just needed a place to lay down. Because of this delay we were unable to make it to the beach because this was the only day we had available to have any Beach time. Very disappointed! They did give us 4 free breakfast buffet vouchers so that was nice. They put our friends in a rim that want cleaned and had mik cartons, banana peels and trash all in the desk. Last night, the Elevators were completely out of service and we were allowed to use the service Elevators thankfully!

I loved this hotel! There were 4 of us that arrived early. They sent a shuttle for us. She was so nice and so easy to have a conversation with. Like family. They let us check in early and my sister was sick. They sent hot tea and honey to the room. To me...that is going above and beyond. Victoria and the staff were amazing. I actually can not wait to return. They made us feel so welcome. The room was super clean and super nice! The hotel was amazing. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

This is a terrible Marriott. Staff is very unfriendly. Approaching the counter I was regarded as a nuisance and very rudely told we could not check I'm yet. It's not a big deal if a room isn't ready and I wasn't upset with that fact. The issue I take is with the manner in which the staff configured themselves. Not to mention the spaced out wandering employee blaring music on the phone in their pocket as they carted in luggage. This whole experience reeks from a lack of professionalism. I have stayed in Marriott's all across the country and this is definitely the worst treatment I have ever witnessed at one of these hotels.

Everyone was excellence and professional in their services. From the front desk clerk to the services of Gwendolyn, Juanita, Marilyn the Chef in the dinning room. Especially Marilyn Johnson who brought me boil eggs whenever I ask for them. I really appreciated that, because she took the time to go the extra mile. I would also like to thank Kim the house keeper who keep my room clean and supplied me with extra towels and wash cloths. I was with the Corvette Club Convention for the week.

Decent stay. The first night, 30 minutes after checking in, someone used a key they were given to get into my room. They quickly shut the door and apologized, and unknown to me, the hotel ended up deactivating all of our keys. I found out the next day when I had returned and couldn't enter my room. The AC made a clinking noise that made it hard to sleep. Check out was easy and the staff were friendly. Can't honestly give it a five due to those get things but the rest of the stay as nice.

I stayed here because everything else in the city was booked. it looks like it was a nice hotel 40 years ago. I could over look the dirty windows half cleaned shower if they just had in room coffee. I don't know what knucklehead at Marriot thinks I want to go sit in a restaurant and order my morning coffee, but he or she is very wrong. Sage restaurant is pretty good but has a very limited menu. ....just go almost anywhere else.
