I am reporting the same problem others have in the previous weeks: I got to the store before it's official closing time but saw that the store was closed despite the "Open" sign being lit outside. Time wasted.

There was another customer there cursing the UPS.

Dear owner, was your system down again?

I called and asked for an above and beyond service today by asking them to print a document, have it signed and notarized by my elderly parents and then shipped overnight to me across the country. The Store Manager Joseph was kind, friendly and professional. He even called me in the evening confirming that everything had worked out. If you have any shipping/copying/printing needs I highly recommend this store.

Terrible, there was people parked and ready to pick up and drop off their packages. The website specified that they'd be open on Sunday @ 9am, but when I got there, it was closed. The hours showed clear as day that the store hours are in fact closed on Sunday and would reopen on Monday @ 8:30am. In my opinion, they need to update their site to match what the store location has. It'll save people such as myself and others time to not a blank trip

This UPS Store does a great job. I have never had a technical problem when coming here. They are always friendly and extremely helpful. I run errands for work a lot, and even though there is a UPS literally two blocks away I will happily drive the extra few minutes to get to this one because I know they will have what I need. They do a great job with a smile, this store knows what customer service is all about.

Joseph was very kind and helpful!!!!! He helped me when I had no one else because I am out in California. He was very calm and gave me options when I felt like I had none, very supportive and friendly. His tone never went up or down and his communication was consistent. Most of all he was understanding!!!!!!

Thank you

Joseph

Everything in here is overpriced I don't know if its the same pricing for every store. I wanted to print a 15 page file on cardstock with black ink only. Not only did the employee mess up the paper I wanted but didn't ask if I wanted back and front printing and I didn't but printed it like that anyway. I was there for about half an hour waiting for them to print it and when it finally came time to checkout the total was 19 $. Ridiculous that I paid that much when Fed ex charges me not even 4 dollars for the same thing. Only reason i didn't go to Fed ex was because it got flood by the hurricane #thanksharvey

It makes no sense why it would cost five dollars more to ship something in store than doing it online. The lady that was working had no explanation for why it is more. I don t think even one word came from her mouth. She basically just shrugged her shoulders. Well that s not helpful. I entered in the exact weight and exact dimensions that she did and it s five dollars cheaper to print the label online. There s no reason why anybody should come into the store to ship something when the price is going to be marked up that much.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I had rented a box there for 6 months for my company mail to be delivered there, and they rejected mail with my company name as the addressee! They sent a check my client mailed back to the Post Office 3 TIMES claiming that the actual person (which was my partner) couldn't receive mail there since they didn't have a copy of his I.D. Since the type of business I am in is very sensitive, the state allows us to use "business names" of which are not our own for privacy reasons. Joanna the employee told me " I'm just following the Post Office's rules." I was able to finally pick up my mail at the Post Office, and guess what....? They didn't give me any hassle with picking up my own mail! After my 6 months of hell was over with, I rented a box from the Chimney Rock Post Office for half the price, and NONE OF THE PROBLEMS!!!

I have been a customer at this location for years. Last time I visited was to ship an Amazon return in the original envelop. They would not take it because it was neatly opened at each end. Instead, they wanted me to buy a new envelope for $3. I went to another UPS store and they simply taped both ends, a simple solution. Done deal, I have found a new UPS store.

I have been a long time customer, on the third and best owner so far since I have been going. I take all of my amazon returns here. Always great customer service. I am in dismay how people complain about paying for packaging to ship amazon returns back. FYI AMAZON COVERS THE SHIPPING BUT NOT ANY PACKAGING. So if you don't bring a box then you have to pay for one.... get over it. If you had a business you would not take a loss on giving away supplies for free. Why should this store. BRING PACKAGING or BUY PACKAGING as simple as that.

My husband came in the store on a Friday with a small box that was a bit larger than my hand. This guy (either middle east or Indian, we can't tell) was going to send my husband home because this box needed a piece of tape over its small neatly opening of the original Amazon box. He could have used the UPS label that he just printed out to tape over it but he refused, instead , he charged my husband $2.55 for a 5 inches piece of tape he put on there. The money was not an issue. It was the attitude and the worst kind of service that threw us off. Would never go there again!

Update after reading the owner respond below: My husband brought that box there without the label because we had Amazon return code on our phone. We make at least 20 purchases on Amazon every month, everytime we return something at UPS, we don't ever have to print out the label, we only show them the code they scan it and print it out. Even when we needed a tape, they can easily use the sticky label as a tape as well, especially for such a small box. All the UPS store that we bring the package to always do that for us happily, except this UPS location. I hope that that extra $2.55 for your store over a piece of tape made you happy, sir.

I witnessed some abuse of the employees here by a unreasonable customer and feel the need to write a review for these guys.

They are the nicest, most patient, most helpful group of employees here. They handled the unreasonable request gracefully.

they are managing it very well.
Thumbs up. :)

Stopped by this branch to drop off my package and had a great experience. My box was broken and they offered to replace and repackage everything for me. I have been here before but this time it was different, everything was recently renovated, very clean, and they are under new management. The staff there were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this UPS store for all your shipping needs.

Love this place! Always drop off my prepaid packages here. Linda and Joseph always make sure they have enough tape on them, if not they are always kind enough to put a strip of tape were needed. All the Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great customer service, I highly recommended.

I own a mailbox at this ups store for awhile now and now they recently just had a change in management, and let me tell you that they have impressed me with the amount of professionalism they provided at this specific location. I am glad that I chose this location for my important business related mail to come to this store. And i can say 100% that all the packages I receive at this store will be secure. So i recommend this store all my fellow business owners/anyone who needs a PO Box Tbh

My personal experience. Keep in mind that I have worked in customer service for over 6 years, and 4 of those were in retail. I treat every person with respect and kindness because I know how nightmarish customers can be, but this whole experience was unacceptable.

I came in on Friday (01/24/20) at around 9:45am needing to print a document, scan some items, then mail them via expedite shipping to the office of congressman Al Green. To say that this was urgent would be a gross understatement! The young man who assisted me was nice and seemed knowledgeable, so he didn't set off any alarms in my head and I made the mistake of trusting his "expertise." I took my forms up to the counter to be weighed and shipped and he asked for the recipient's address, which I gave verbally at first. He then asked for me to write it down, to make it easier for him, so I just handed him my phone which had the address on the screen. He printed the label and showed it to me to confirm that it is correct, which it was. I spent a solid minute and a half analyzing it to ensure that it was correct, which it was. Ok, great! I paid, received my receipt with tracking number, and he said it would arrive by Monday. Cool, thanks!

Now it is Monday evening and my package never arrived because, according to UPS tracking, the address was invalid or missing info. I called the store and a man named "Neal" assisted me and was friendly enough. He accessed my info via my phone number and I repeated the recipient's address (on South Loop West) and he said that the address it was mailed to was "Southwest Freeway" and I said no, that is incorrect. The young man on Friday showed me the label and I verified that it was correct, how is it possible that the label said one thing but the system showed another?? He said that it sometimes happens that the label is correct but the person must have typed a different address into the system. He asked me to email him the correct address and offered to call UPS and give them the correct address so they could deliver it, and he said he'd call me back when he got off the phone.

I waited over 30 minutes for a callback until I called him back myself. He said that he called and the new info should reflect on my tracking number within 25-30 minutes. Cool, thanks!

An hour later and still no changes to my tracking info, so I called again. No answer.
I waited 20 minutes, and I called again. No answer.
I waited 10 more minutes (this was now at 6:45pm and they close at 7pm), no answer. I spam called the store in the hopes to get anyone to answer, and he never did.

He called me back 5 minutes later YELLING AT ME and just ranting so much and so fast that he wouldn't allow me to even speak. He was yelling at me to stop calling, that he called UPS and did everything he could, that he knows the customer is always right, etc, but what sticks out the most was that he had the audacity to say "I EVEN PAID UPS MYSELF TO DELIVER IT TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS AND WE DON'T DO THAT WHEN THE CUSTOMER GAVE THE WRONG ADDRESS" and this sentence is what made me completely lose my cool and up until that moment I had not raised my voice at all. I had to interject and stop him right there and say, "first of all, *I* didn't make ANY mistake because I verbally told the young man on Friday the address, then showed it to him written down on my phone, then VERIFIED THE LABEL. Please explain to me how this is MY fault? How the hell was it correct on the label but wrong in the system? Secondly, you're saying that you paid for MY mistake? You're complaining that you had to pay to correct a mistake that your store made? Because this is NOT my fault!"

That whole interaction was completely unacceptable. I asked him for his name, he stated that it's "Neal," and I asked for the 800 number for UPS Store customer support to file a complaint. He provided me with a number that didn't have an answering machine and just kept ringing, so I will try to call again tomorrow morning and verify its validity.

This store needs to be shut down.

I have never had great service like I did at this location...thought I had to do a ton of running around today to get a product shipped off and came to this location to print a label and to my surprise Neal was very helpful getting all done for me including packaging and mail. He was very efficient too helping another lady as she was having issues with printing at home and others as they walked in and got them right out the door. Totally impressed I will be using this location more often.

It's mostly a young man and his mother working here. I have no problems with that arrangement. But she only knows how to accept returns and simple tasks. She can't send packages out or answer questions. In this respect, there is really only 1 person who works here so when it's busy, you need to wait a long time. I've visited this location about 5 times and it's a very frustrating place to send packages out because it's not a professional environment. The mother is not all that friendly or warm either. It's ok for a convenience store where you hire your mother to save money but in this instance, it's a bit ridiculous when she's not much help. I've been going to the UPS Store at Chimney Rock and Bissonnet instead which is more the real deal.

This store has a great staff with fantastic customer service. In particular, Joseph Herron
who helped me locate a package I had sent out to California. It was a 5000 dollar laser handpiece needing to get to a specialized center to repair it. I was in the middle of a rehearsal dinner and worried beyond belief that this expensive part would be lost. Joseph not only located my package but placed phone calls to California in order to have it tracked and delivered ahead of schedule. He followed up on every phone call he promised and kept me in the loop. My handpiece arrived and I was able to enjoy the dinner. This exceptional employee deserves recognition as I generally don't find that kind of follow up in businesses.

Nothing to complain about the service, until your package got stolen. UPS would not talk to me about the claim, or even letting me file one, telling me that they would only communicate with the store. I contacted the store and they would not answer my email. A clever way to pass around the buck. Since the store won't do anything, UPS gives itself the liberty to act as if they heard nothing, and there is really not much you can do to force the hand of the store. When you use UPS again, do pray that nothing happens to your package, otherwise they could practically tell you, with this game, that they don't have to do anything about your damages.

That, and the very high likelihood that my stuff was stolen by somebody at the store gives me more than enough reason to avoid this particular store and the whole UPS system for the rest of my life.

Neal was so helpful! We left some important medication in a small piece of luggage out of town and the hotel was being very difficult about sending it to us. Neal found a company in that town who would retrieve the luggage and overnight it to us. He was a true lifesaver!!!

Fast, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend this Ups Store near Meyerland area.
I used their notary service and mailed out a letter - the process was remarkably seamless. I believe it was Linda who helped me out - even though I was mixed up a bit with my documents, she was extraordinarily helpful and patient. I was truly impressed by the service I received, and how quickly I was in and out.

Was just coming to make an Amazon return. Charged me 7.38 for a box to hold a boardgame. I asked her if that was just for the box. She said yes. She tells me after the purchase that she is also adding the packaging. She didnt tell me about that charge. Bring your own packages ready to ship. Don't expect this lady to be upfront with you.
