My favorite store that sells products that actually work on my skin:) expensive but worth it

Went in for the happy hour 5 minute consultation on 7/2/19. Louis did an incredible job of testing my skin and expertly advising me on the appropriate products to step up my skin care routine and minimize the signs of aging. Looking forward to seeing how the products work in the longer term as day has my skin feeling great and looking fresh.

Went for a visit to Kiehl's 3rd avenue flagship today at around noon (out of Pineapple Papaya Scrub!). Have to say, I felt this was a very safe shopping experience without compromising on their excellent service. Both of the store workers were masked and one was diligently cleaning as I was shopping. The item I selected from the shelf, and the samples the associate suggested for me, were both wiped with sanitizer before she handed them back to me. There was adequate distancing during the entire trip. I'd feel very comfortable shopping there again during the pandemic. Great job, Kiehl's!

Came here for the first time and loved it. Giavoni tested my skin and suggested a routine for me and was super friendly and great.

Disappointed that the store does not have the same vibe as it once had when I became a customer over twenty years ago. Staff is attentive, but it seems to have a high turnover, very few that have been with Kiehl's for over ten years. I'm a bit upset the original entrance is no longer accessible. And it seems that once products become accepted, they discontinue, and no suitable alternative is available.

Helpful staff. Not too overbearing, they are there if you need them but they let you do your thing which I love.

Cute flagship store. Friendly clerks, nice environment. It locates right in the corner of 13th Street and it's very easy to be found.

The clerk is very polite and the product is also very good!

When I visited for the first time in the first half of the 00's, it was still a brand not yet landed in Japan, and when visiting the East Village area from Union Square, I always stopped by to buy my favorite lip balm # 1 (unscented).

As the name suggests, Keel's, which started as a dispensing pharmacy in 1851, has now grown into a famous brand with approximately 900 stores in more than 60 countries worldwide as a luxury brand under L'Oreal, the world's largest cosmetics manufacturer. Landed in the year and opened more than 30 stores).
They come from natural ingredients and have a wide variety of items.

By the way, this store displayed a classic-style motorbike, but what did that mean?
I am still worried.

Started using Kiehl's products a few months ago and love them. Every time I visit one of their stores, their knowledgeable sales people teach me a thing or two about how to take better care of my skin. Ask for samples before committing to buying the products, to make sure the product works with your skin. Highly recommended.

Customer service was awful.. You have to be white and young for the sales clerk to acknowledge you even though your standing 10 minutes before waiting. This happen on 09.05.2018... It makes no sense using their products.. This is a no no.. One maybe around for a long time but one has to treat each customer with respect.

Love this location & it's staff. Always ready to help you with a huge smile. They have the answer to all your needs & their support to the LGBTQ+ community has been outstanding for years, specially for HMI. Chris Salgado for sure is leaving a huge legacy in this company and will be trulky missed. His efforts are anything but an act of kindness & love for all.

Love the historic flagship store. The staff here (especially Barbara!!!) are terrific with a positive attitude and always ready to help.

The customer service here is great, they answer any of your questions and will listen to your skincare concerns. You can never go wrong with their products.

I love this place. I've been coming here for years. It's really comfortable and has a warm neighborhood feel. Plus the products are amazing.

I have been going to Kiehl's for a long time ..although not regularly... I primarily used to visit for herbs..however..their body washes are excellent and worth the price...

Amazing service! Always feel great when I go there. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. They didn't push you to buy stuff, they give you good advise for your skin. Especially, Barbara! Barbara is the best! Barbara always give me good advice and make my day more happier! Thank you Barbara! When you get there looking for Barbara, you will get out of store with smile and better skin result comes out in the future!

I like their products. I started using Kiehl s after I moved to nyc when I was looking for gentle but well moisturizing skin care. Due to the difference of the weather and the quality of water, my skin was so dry and very itchy like I had never had before.

I walked in the store with my friend, and they treat me very well. I was kind of getting tired of services in nyc, but they were knowledgeable and professional. They gave me some options depending on my skin type, preference and current problem.
I tried some of their skin care line, and purchased a few of them.

Of course some people say it doesn t match to their skins, but mine worked really well.

Though I sometimes meet a little rude employee when I go some different location like the Kiehl s counter at the Macy s. But most of them are very nice and professional to help you.

Kiehl's is great blah blah blah- but the thing about this location that's especially notable is the staff- they are amazing. I almost never write reviews, but Barbara was just so cool and friendly- she deserved the shout out.

It's not quite what it used to be before the present generation made a deal with whatever corporate giant. But it is at least available to everyone now. Get the cucumber moisturizer. WOW!

I came here looking for a Christmas present for my wife. As soon as I opened the door I was greeted by smiles from the staff. They were very helpful in helping me put together a nice gift basket that was very well rounded. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly, and not pushy at all. He asked questions to better understand what I was looking for. He included a good variety of free samples with my purchase. They had a nice selection of gift baskets for every type of need. The place is made to look like an old apothecary. I had the best experience and my wife loved her present.

My favorite Kiehl s location! Julio is the best!! Great sample suggestions and all around lovely person!!

Worst customer service: the guys who "tried" helping me, gave me false information and had a very negative attitude... It didn't seem like he wanted to work. Never going back there.

Large assortment if creams and lotions. Mainly for women but they do also have items for men.

The original store. Still miss the days when you walked out with a bag full of samples, but it still carries that original NYC apothecary charm!

I've never been disappointed by one of their products and this is definitely a great place to buy. Besides the vintage shop, which is very cool... The employees here seem more on top of it than in a lot of other stores.

this old charmer is a treat to visit. the current owners haven't messed with the historic aspect of this timeless classic and the products are as fine and reasonable as ever. very generous with samples.

This is the original Kiehl's location - where it all began! (Though the store was recently refurbished to its original glory.)

This is the original Kiehl's location. Expect a traditional looking store and an air of nostalgia. The lotions are not strong scented but rather understated and light. The texture itself is not thick. It's more on the watery side. Many scents are unisex but if you are looking for a men's line Kiehl's has a bunch that are catered to the male species. Kiehl's is classic and not much has changed except for corporate ownership.

I love Kiehls, I can't recommend it enough. This is their flagship location from 1851, which is so cool. The people who work there (and most of their locations I've encountered) are so incredibly kind and helpful. I spent nearly an hour with Barbara and she helped me develop an entire skincare routine. If you're looking to improve your skin, definitely pay them a visit.

Great products and friendly, knowledgeable staff! They explained to me in great detail exactly what I need for my skin type and how to use them. It was very informative, and everything here smells amazing!

I'm happy I finally got to visit this Flagship Kiehl's. I've always just gone to the location in Bloomingdale's but this one was awesome. The employees weren't sharks just trying to make a sale like their Bloomingdale's location. The woman working here actually asked me questions about what I was getting and when I picked out my usual hair paste she asked why I chose that one and made other suggestions and recommendations. Even gave me a crazy amount of samples because through conversation she knew I was out of shaving cream and toner. This will be my new location of choice.

Quality products, friendly staff and generous sample policy - almost everything is available to try before you buy!

The store has charm and wonderful products but at a price

Products that bring back to life and super enhanced healthy looking skin. KIEHL'S IS THE BEST !!!! Be prepared to be blown away with a visit and obtaining consultation by professionals. Trust me store and Kiehl's brand will exceed anyone's expectations. :)

Now 30 years that I use musk oil I could not use anything else open in Turin .... finally !!!!
