eff Jones attempted to rent 2901 W Davies Ave Litt...

eff Jones attempted to rent 2901 W Davies Ave Littleton, CO 80120 to us (which is a house he is selling for Brokers Guild- he did disclose to us the house was for sale but we needed a very short term lease so we were ok with that). We gave him money orders for 1st month's rent and the deposit, signed a lease, and moved some stuff in. He then later changed the locks on us and wouldn't allow us in despite holding our $3000 and our stuff. He illegally entered our property without 24 hour notice, illegally changed the locks, and only under threat of police did he agree to let me have my own stuff back. He claimed he was unable to cash the money order which you can do at any King Soopers or bank. The only reason you cannot do that however is if there is a problem with the ID (the money order was paid for by cash and obviously acts as cash but with a paper trail)- we did of course call Western Union to confirm they were still valid, something he easily could have done. He also was angry we wrote them to his name, but that was the only name we were given; he did not ask us to leave it blank or write it to an alternate name.He did not even tell us that he was having an issue with these money orders until he locked us out illegally, so there was no way we could have corrected his problem. This was also days after we had given him the money orders so why there was no communication to us is anyone's guess. He claimed they needed 48 hours to clear (again, not accurate by any means). I have no idea why any this would have occurred unless he was illegally renting the place or had some other suspicious activity going on. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they were looking to rent or even buy from him. If we had that issue I can only imagine the headache buying a house from this person would cause. I would give zero stars if I could. Jeff, you miserable excuse for a POS, I have reported you to DORA.

This was my first experience selling a home so I was a little weary about the process of finding an agent to assist me with this process. Frankly like most, you feel like why should I pay someone else to put a sign in my front yard to help with this. I couldn't have been more wrong! The value of having Jeremy Kane as an agent was so incredible and saved me so much time and headaches of what I would have had to deal with if I didn't use an agent. In addition, he offered more to us as a client than most other agents we talked to. Now let's get to the more difficult part. First we now live out of state, second the house went on the market right in the middle of a pandemic. All signs point to this being a very difficult process filled with a lot of headaches. Quite the contrary, Jeremy came in and was highly creative when it came to posting a house and doing "Virtual 3D showings" and we were under contract within days of the listing. Next don't underestimate the value of a quality agent like Jeremy after you under contract. Jeremy probably fielded about 100+ phone calls, texts, and emails from me. Instead of getting frustrated with a novice like me, he was very helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. He also assisted in the repairs and fixes we had to do after the inspection. Jeremy is a trustworthy professional who does right by his clients. I would recommend him to anyone I know who is buying or selling a home.

Kaleb Harvey of Brokers Guild Cherry Creek was unfortunately very difficult to work with. As the seller, he did not follow a code of ethics that most real estate agents do. He lacked integrity by not disclosing several things or following through on some agreements despite our best efforts to move forward throughout the closing process on one of his remodeled properties. His agent Jenna Harvey (not sure of the relation) lacked that same ethical code. My wife and I went over asking price and were repaid by a dishonest and inexperienced team. If you have your client's or your own best interest in mind, please avoid doing business with Kaleb and Jenna Harvey. You will save a lot of time and money to avoid a house listed by them.

We used Corrie Luellen with Brokers Guild and could not be happier! She met us on nights and weekends, working around our work schedule. She was very attentive. She was very informative and is local so she knows the different areas very well. This market is hard and she works hard! It was difficult getting to see homes with all the new COVID rules so at one point she even played outside with our daughter so we could both go in together and see the home since children were not allowed inside. During closing and seller work That needed to be done, she followed up on her own and checked on things happening at the property. She even follows up after the closing. We couldn t be more happier! I would love to use her again, but we are staying put in our wonderful new home!!

Beware of this real estate firm. They required my sister to sign an exclusive buyer contract with John Martin one of their realtors.
First Issue: He continuously recommended/sent houses out of her price range. When he took her to look at houses, he showed her four houses and three out of the four were out of her price range. He constantly encouraged her to purchase one out of her price range.
Second issue: John made her feel as though she were a burden to drive to show only one home in the area because he lives so far away in Franktown.
Third issue: She asked him to look at a house in the evening and he told her that he had plans in the evenings and can show her houses on her 30 minute lunch. Further, she let him know that she would like for her boyfriend to come along. John responds, "he is not on the loan, he can look at it during inspection."
Fourth Issue: She had to ask John to set her up on the MLS search three different times before he even acknowledged that she wanted to be set up and then finally set her up.
Final major issue: She told John and the firm that she would like to rescind her contract with John because she was uncomfortable with him. The firm and John would not let her out of the contract. They will force you to work with them even if their client is not comfortable.
DON'T SIGN THE CONTRACT!

Fraudulent Behavior

Fraudulent Behavior

I have a compliant with the Colorado Division of Real Estate against one of their agents that the person fraudulently misrepresented a listing with which I was involved. I am horrified the agent still has a job in real estate and that this company in particular would continue to employ the person.

Being a first time home buyer in the most sought a...

Being a first time home buyer in the most sought after city in America can be a pretty scary ordeal. But being a Colorado Native and not ready to let big corporations push me out of my home state, I knew I needed a team that I could trust! That is when I placed my trust in what I like to call, "The Dream Team".

Timberly Oaks with Synergy lending is knowledgeable, trust worthy, compassionate and best of all she is a Colorado Native too that raised her own family right here. Dean Oaks, Timi's beloved husband, with True Performance Real estate, is also a Colorado Native, a father, knowledgeable, trust worthy, compassionate and who can forget, charming! Working with the two of them in this extremely competitive market, put my mind at ease. I knew from the very beginning that both had my best interest at heart and would help guide me to the perfect home to raise my children in.

Timberly, "Timi" was able to get us approved for a home loan that fit in our budget, and helped us to understand all points of a mortgage. She was patient and straight forward. I knew that she wanted the very best for us without leaving us feeling strapped for cash!

Dean was so knowledgeable in areas of town that are best fit for raising a family, areas that you should avoid for structural purposes, and what to look for in the home beyond the paint or carpet colors.

Both have a true passion and after 20 or more years of marriage and raising a family, obviously know how to work as a team!

Today, after many hours, many houses, and many miles... I finally found my Dream home!

I highly recommend this dynamic duo, because we all know, "Teamwork makes the Dream work!"
