Our second visit and surely not our last!
The place was full this time around. But service was just as good as ever. Staff are friendly and service is quick.
There is a shopping place close by so don't worry for supplies.
Kids enjoyed the swimming pool a lot. We enjoyed the sauna, steam, jacuzzi and the splash pool.
The separate olympic sized pool was amazing too.
Can't wait to be here again!

Old hotel, slow room service, but nice swimming pool and jaccuzi, beautiful seating at Oasis cafe

The best pool area and very family friendly. Nice staff very efficient. Rooms are clean and big, quite comfortable. Many restaurants on site, but mostly expensive.

This is very good resort in Al Ain city, it has wide rooms for different family number, also their swimming pools are brilliant for family members and specially kids !

Decent hotel for a weekend out with friends, would not recommend for couples. Word of advice would be to avoid opting for any meal package other than breakfast. The food was distinguishably stale, as if it came out of a can or carton, very limited options for vegetarians, and most of the meat was overcooked and incredibly dry. There was an event being held on the day of our stay (I would have appreciated being notified about this at the time of my booking as I had made it clear the purpose of this trip was for my wife's birthday) and the staff had their hands full with them, leaving the other hotel stayers as a sidenote. My wife and I had to find our own way through everything even seating ourselves at our meals and hardly any staff to help with orders. I do have to give props to the hotel for arranging a cake as well as balloons since it was my wife's birthday.

The staff, the food, the bars and restaurants, the 3 pools, the rooms where do i start!! All are rated up with the best and the welcoming staff are just the best i have found. I cannot rate this hotel high enough and will visit again and again!!

The very spacious room and the spectacular view, really a good destination to rest and disconnect from everything

A very beautiful and clean hotel. When you just want to relax, I come here, all in little things: in a flower bed, a small slide in the children's pool, in a beautiful playground. In the wall lamps at the Reception. In any hotel I never wanted to sit in the lobby, but here with a cup of tea is very cool! Good pool water temperature! And nice staff.

They don't know what is customer service all about

The guest is come all over driving from other Emirates of UAE and has to wait for 1hr to get their room after making the advance booking a week ago

Saying a excuse it's Friday we are already booked then what's the point of booking the room?

Had Christmas brunch there beautiful decor in Mcgettigan's over looks the pool area. Was nice except for when the doors were open and no cover for food on display table. Over staff were accommodating and friendly.

Nice place as it is away feom the hustle bustle of city but not too far that it becomes difficult to reach to other places in city. Did not like the breakfast much as the options were very few in buffet. Over all nice place just their cleaning staff is a bit annoying they'll come any time whether ypu are resting or sleeping and will keep on ringing bells until and unless you open the door for them.

I had a lovely 2 day stay at Danat Al Ain. The property is beautiful with lush gardens, playgrounds and a nice pool. It was crowded during check in but the manager took our ids and checked us in while we sipped tea on the sofa, which was lovely.
Room service was quick but the highlight was the breakfast! Sumptuous, delicious deserts and a wide selection of savory options to choose from. Town center is just a quick 5 min drive away.
Fixed as my go -to hotel for weekend Al ain trips!

Old hotel I would never recommend staying in an old house

Nice resort for family and it was a wonderful experience. Staffs were very friendly, co-operative and good. Food was beyond our expectations (breakfast had large varieties of food to choose). Pools facilities were superb (children really enjoyed the pool). Overall experience was really good.

Great location and nice pools. Very noisy at times and doors aren't noise proof. Bathrooms need some maintenance.

Friendliness of staff was the highlight of my stay. The hotel is old, which will need renovation soon. Swimming pools were enjoyed by the kids, enough to keep them happy!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this resort. Breakfast at this resort serves with wide variety of cuisine.

Corresponding to Monday on a day when the hotel is not stressed and communication is more accurate and professional because of our reputation for the hotel from the days of the Intercontinental where I was born in the country and I was a member of the health club, unfortunately after completing the contract and paying the fees in particular, the relationship ended
The performance of the duties of the hotel became only a continuation of an action, and the negatives became an abbreviation of speech
- Failure to coordinate with the organizers in the hotel, as the kosha and lighting were on our side to provide the least thing for drinking as I provided it on my own account.
- Providing a project and a screen without wires for operation, as it does not cost anything, and the negative response is not from our specialty, and we can provide it through private companies I don t know the goal behind it is purely financial benefit
- Failure to provide drinks that were not of that quality despite bringing them at our expense, coffees, chefs and coffee providers, and lack of coordination with him, which embarrassed us in the presence of VIPs who noticed this shameful thing.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. The pool in nice, with a swim up bar but is can be loud with lots of kids however there is a adult lap to stay away from the noise.

McGettigans is a lively bar sttached to the hetel with live bands playing weekends and theme nights all week(quiz, ladies nights, etc) with drink promotions to help rehydrat after a day in the sun.

Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it to my friends(especially given the cheap price)

We book here me and my family based on the reviews of the other guests.
All went smooth but unfortunately when we came back to hotel after viewing Al Ain I didnt find any valet parking staff and I can understand that night shift are less staff, but what turn all our experience into negative way is when my wife with 2 kids approach the receptionist asking him if there anyone to take the car he just looked at here and ignored her while he is chatting with other staff.
My review been change based on the duty manager Mahmoud action, a well known person in hospitality field and knew what it mean.

This place needs some maintenance, it's old. But view was awesome. People are just great. Location is good. If they do little maintenance of the place, this will become a great place for travellers.

I did not visit your hotel. But my daughter did.

How can I give you a review, you may ask?

Because she had just left our country, she was in a new country, away from her family and it was her birthday.

By the time I found out where she was staying, it was too late for me to make arrangements to have a cupcake with a candle on it sent up to her room at midnight, as is tradition in our family. I did not want her to be sad on her first birthday away from home so soon after leaving home. She had arrived in Abu Dhabi just 1 week before.

It was 11:30 pm your time. But I tried anyway. I stated my case in an email and hoped for the best.

Midnight came and went but nothing happened. Well I had tried.

To my surprise my daughter sent me a video clip on the evening of her birthday and told me that a strange man had followed her from the front desk. And when she reached her room, he gave her a big bunch of hellium balloons with compliments from the hotel.

WOW!!! That was way better than a cupcake.

I would like to thank the Danat Hotel, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi for making my daughter feel so special on her birthday, while she was far away from us, in a foreign land.

GOD bless you for being such a blessing to my family.

It's masterfully built. The food is delicious. I wish they had more non smoking areas.

Too loud on Friday night's, buffet was expensive comabred to food variety ..extra bed did not arrive

The manager refused to give us fresh juice except with money and said the industrial juice with the two meals must be clarified to the client before housing and payment of rent and the customer the right to accept or offer

Wonderful and pleasant experience with family. All the staffs were very friendly and good. Food was beyond our expectation. Breakfast and lunch buffet had huge varieties of food to choose. Games and pools arrangements were superb.

Old but good property with nice rooms and service. The pool area is large and kind of a mini water park. They have waterfall inside the pool, a bar for those who likes drinks during swim, kids pool, lap pool and nice pool side seating.

Nice big rooms, but little dirty carpet smell. A/C was not cooling well.
