The place is as nice as you could want however the parking is horrible!!!!
They actually have no parking available and you have to park on a city street and walk to the hotel. It took us 3 hours to find a place 2 blocks away and IF you book with them, forget canceling and getting your money back!!!...
I actually never interacted with any staff there (I got there at 6PM and left at 7:30AM) which is fine but there wasn't a heads up on the after hour check in process.
The room was nicely presented and smelled good, however the hottub was disgusting. It looked and smelled like it was never cleaned...

A hidden gem in Aspen. Awesome location, loved rooftop deck and hottub comfy and clean room and excellent service. Each room is unique.
The hotel is next to the free shuttle stop. The room is clean and high. The sad thing is the hot tub was under construction when we were there. Lesley, a stuff, is very helpful and friendly.
If you want a stylish, quaint, centrally located hotel the Independence square Hotel is great. They had nice rooms, a nice breakfast and helpful staff. Probably not ideal for elderly, handicap, or people with lots of luggage as there is street parking that requires walking and stairs to navigate to...

Got to stay here last winter for a quick ski trip. The rooms are spacious and the location can't be beat! The hotel is right in the downtown core. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was more than adequate. Look forward to coming for a longer stay this coming spring!
When there is a problem they do everything they can to fix it! Great customer service.

Nice place right next door to Belly Up. Cozy hotel, nice continental breakfast (coffee, bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal, hb eggs, juice).
