Great theme park! We went with the whole family and everyone enjoyed it. There's so much to do there. Luckily we had weekend passes, so on Friday and Monday we could simply go wherever we wanted. Highlight for me where the Baron, Joris en de Draak, Vliegende Hollander en de Halve Maen. And best thing ever: they had a dog care so we could enjoy the park!

The best theme park ever made. Bring your kids, hire a stroller, and experience dreams. Besides being a theme park it is also called a nature park, if you look at my photos you will see why. The park is dedicated to protecting nature and any square KM of park is 10 square KM of nature reserve.
If you are foreign, find yourself a dutch guide to point you around the many special places of this park.
In park foods are not as expensive as youd normally see either, but you are free to bring your own food as well.
The park caters well to people with disabilities.

Advice would be to avoid weekends and holidays. Plan something around it to avoid the crowded days and it is recommended to make it a 2/3 day trip in order to experience everything the park has to offer.

Simply one of the best themed amusement parks I ever visited. The whole experience made me feel nostalgic since I came here as a Child.

Great to see the park has expanded but didn't lose its passion and eye for detail.

Totally worth the money and a great day out for the whole family.

PS many attractions are in Dutch but have English translations written in a near proximity. They are working on translating everything for the international public.

Keep it up guys!

Great amusement park. Perfect to the detail of all themes.from the history off 1952 to the attractions off today. It's great for excitement and relaxation. Great to be in a other world.

For us its being away from kitesurfing at rockanje. The best way to be Away from the beach for a day in a other world so we can totally recharge to go nextlevel with the beachevents again.

Its just great to enjoy al the different themes al the rides and the relaxation off the beautiful views off the park from the easy going attractions. You can have your dinner at a other world. It's kind of a 1 day vacation. Great to be here!

Nice theme park. Based on an original series of stories. It's clean, well maintained but not as detailed in some areas as parks like Disney land. Also, some audio tracks at the entrances are too loud or poorly mixed with the music which makes some stories not understandable

Be prepared to walk a lot! it's big with some big attractions and all look really good. Lots of things to see, do and play. We went on a weekend day and it was really busy but you could still do everything you needed to. You will have to choose though not enough time to do everything.

a real enchanting park. I went in November so it was freezing. but! there were still things going on and stuff to do. I can imagine in the hot weather its booming. the food was really good and the rides are good to. not to hard to figure out how to get there to from train and then a bus.

Efteling is an amazing alternative to Disney land and a fraction of the price, the place is so clean and a relaxing place to be especially if you take one of the log cabins on the lake.
The cabins are beautiful decorated and come with a sauna on the decking and in the evening they do story time for the kids which my daughter loved.

If travelling from the UK it's only a short drive from the ferry port.

I highly recommend it for a trip with kids.

My favorite place in the world. The best theme park that I've ever visited. People of every age find their fun and there is always something new going on, so it's worth visiting every single time.

I come to Efteling since I was little and still, the new attractions always surprise me. Symbolica, for instance, is the most wonderful ride and left me amazed for days now.

The winter decoration is such a nice idea and well done! Everywhere in the park, you can discover little winter details.

I had never heard of this themepark until the wife told me the name on the day we were driving there. Initially we drove into via the hotel entrance, which are stunning in their own right and worth considering on our next visit. After being given directions for the main entrance, parked the car and marvelled at the beauty of the spiked wooden structure as you walk towards the park.

If you can, pay for your parking ticket before carrying on. Also, you can use the printed map, or the preferred mobile app, which provides your accurate GPS location and wait times for each attraction.

Overall I was impressed with the level of detail around the park, especially in the queues. Do take some form of entertainment during waiting, such as music or a video game. I did purchase the photo package, which for 30 will give you 6 ride photos (available as a magnet, key chain or large print), plus a digital download code for each photo.

The food served, especially the pastry items are very appetising. The novel 'snack vending' booths are something I've never seen before, but make perfect sense and would be very handy back home in the UK.

Having recently visited Disneyland Paris, I would recommend Efteling as a more fulfilling alternative. It has rides for the thrill seekers and less queues for the children attractions.

This is an amusement park near to Tilburg/Eindhoven/Den bosch.

The park is huge and frankly cannot cover everything in one day even on summer Saturday when it is open from 10 am till 11 pm. Be prepared to walk a lot and wait in the queue too if you visit this place on weekend and in summer. All major and important rides will have a wait time of 30+ mins at least. The park has lots of attractions for all ages. If one is in NL and prefer to travel on public transport then do check the offer on NS website.

Very cleanly maintained and a huge park. Prices are reasonable. There are options to stay back if you wish for and it is worth to ensure the whole park can be covered. There are lot many restaurants with many options. The app gives real time details about the rides and inside map to reach your favourite ride or restaurants.

It's a beautiful park.

The animatronics are very good and it looks very realistic.

It's best to go during the week, the waiting times are not so long. I went on a Wednesday and we waited less than 10 minutes.

Two negative things would be:

The food was overpriced and not very good.

Souvenirs are also overpriced.

However, this is the case with most theme parks so it's not surprising at all.

My best Theme Park in the Netherlands and second best in the whole Europe after Disney Park. The service here is incredibly great, the playground and the fairytale forest will give any visitor an unforgettable experience. Not only being the largest theme park in the Netherlands, its also one of the oldest in europe dating back 1952. Highly recommended for both children and adults

Spent an amazing day with mt girlfriend at the Efteling today. Pricing was very good, we had gotten a deal with NS for train tickets, bus and park tickets for 51 , while the regular park tickets were 45 . So i definitely recommend to check that out if you're visiting too. Corona rules were applied all throughout the park and was handeld better by the staff than other parks. Que times weren't too long and it was a good trip down memory lane to relive your child memories. I definitely recommend spending a day here with your family.

Went as a family wirh wife and kids (ages 14 and 12). We are from the USA and I have been to Disney, Magic Mountain, Epcot, etc and had pretty low expectations. However, the quality of the themes and overall high quality of rides and park grounds really blew me away. I easily give 5 stars!

Amazing place! Lots for young and old to do. Food and drink are not too expensive.long walk from carpark to entrance but things to see on the way. Queues for rides aren't too long. Longest we waited was 40 mins and that on a Saturday in june.has to be expected. Will definitely be back!

I actually came here for my Honeymoon, and it was amazing. There isn't enough space to write how highly I regard Eftling. The short version, I would rather come back here just once, than visit EVERY other theme park in the world. Disney is utter rubbish compared to this. Dont think about it, BOOK IT you will have zero regrets

Really nice theme park.

Wide age appeal. For the younger kids there are several small rides and lots of themed experiences.

For older kids and adults there is a good selection of big rides including a few big roller coasters.

The app is very useful for seeing queue time per ride (generally short when we went in July)

Several shows too. Much of the spoken material is just in Dutch but the big Raveleijn show does have translations in English, French, German and Italian.

The park is really clean and well maintained.

Lots of restaurants too.

We staying in the Efteling Hotel, which was also very good.

Hard to fault.

We travelled by air from the UK to Amsterdam. The public transport to the park took about 2 hours (train + bus).

This place never stops to amaze me. It's magical and exciting. Every time I have friends over from abroad I take them here. They say the same. The lines are short and you can even do the things you like multiple times. The forest is a piece of art and amazingly crafted in how it tells it's fairytales. I'd like to go here more often if it wasn't for the price.

The greatest theme park! Small enough to see everything in a day...if you go on a weekday with no lines. Some very nice fantasty and children's tales themes. Some with questionable themes that could offend - the cannibal and multi-national ones in particular... Overall a fun place though for all ages.

The fairy tailes are the same as they were when I was still a teenager. They really need to make a lot of changes and remove all the racial stereotypes so that it's safe for all kids. The time of all-white heroes and princesses has really passed. 2018 peeps, wake up!

OMG what an enchanting place is Efteling. Really surprised how amazing this Park was. Very well laid out with amazing rides and attractions for all ages. Very clean and well managed. Like any place there could be long cues for the popular rides but there is so much to see and so that you never feel that you are missing out. Seriously would go back again as in one day we didn't get to see everything. If you haven't been you must go and experience a day out at Efteling, a truly magical place even if you don't have children.

Children and adults of all ages and abilities always find lots to thrill, and explore here. We've been going for many years. Added advantage of the Efteling park is that whilst a fantasy world, it also feels like it's connected to the planet, it's in the woods and always has beautiful flower beds.

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. However, it soon evolved into an amusement park with the addition of various attractions such as the Fairy Tale Forest (Sprookjesbos) in 1952. Since then, De Efteling has undergone several expansions and renovations to keep up with changing times while preserving its unique charm.

One of the main draws of De Efteling is its enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to a world full of magic and wonder. The park's design is inspired by traditional Dutch architecture and folklore, creating a nostalgic ambiance that appeals to both children and adults alike. One such ride is Baron 1898 - an immersive dive coaster that takes riders on a freefall drop from 37 meters high at speeds up to 90 km/hour! Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
