Bitterroot River Inn is a very comfortable hotel with plenty of amenities and very nice rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable and very very quiet. It also adjoins the riverside park in Hamilton which is a lovely place for a walk. The inn provides breakfast, which is very good with many options, and there were fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and evening. For the very low price paid I was very impressed.

My view of the lake and mountains from my room was spectacular. The rooms were nice and breakfast was decent. The only down side was how freaking slow the elevator was it takes FOREVER to close and go to the next level I would suggest that be looked at other than that great proximity to the river right behind it loved!

Terrible customer service. I booked online and the lady at front desk changed our room because she informed us that they were empty that night. They put us below loud guests that were banging around all night. I called the front to inform them but nothing happened. We came to go fishing and got 2 hours of sleep. Also check your alarm clocks because they go off at 5:30am. They also don t take debit cards. Made the checkout difficult.
All we got is a sorry and no sleep. Would not recommend.

The front desk staff is the sweetest (I had to call with a question and a readjustment before I even arrived and I already loved them). The room was great (especially the heating... in December...). Baby and I had a great sleep! I didn t expect hot breakfast at all (I booked it on recommend and location only), so that was a nice surprise.

Again, the beds are sweet! The hotel is clean and with modern amenities and is decorated tastefully with a regional theme. The staff is exvellent. They are like most Montanans who project honesty and integrity in everything they do. The breakfast could be a lot better. If you like carbohydrates and no protein, then this place is for you, but if you want something that will feed and nourish, look elsewhere. Overall, this is still the best place to stay in Hamilton

The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but the pool and hot tub were gross and had hair floating all around them. They were also concerningly murky. The beds were awful in our room and had no support at all. They looked okay When we arrived because they had like 3 blankets or covers stuffed under the sheets. The staff folded the pillows in half on the beds to make them look like they weren't lumpy and worthless. Maybe other rooms would have been better but ours was just uncomfortable. Otherwise the place was clean and the bathrooms outside of the rooms were also very clean and big. We did not eat breakfast because we were in a hurry but it looked like they served breakfast a lot longer than advertised on their front desk, which is great. Their coffee wasn't bad either.

Well, first I did not expect this quality from a hotel in this little town of Hamilton. Second, I am completely thrilled that we stumbled upon this in our search. From the moment you drive up in their parking lot and get a glimpse of their gorgeous hanging baskets of annual flowers, to the lodge-like lobby; this place impresses. It is by far one of the best hotels of our little quick, last minute Montana travels. The rooms have log pole head board and foot boards, Bev Doolittle framed art on the walls, a patio outside your sliding door over looking a serene pond-like river (ok, the downside is the mosquitoes in the evening!). Haven't experienced the free breakfast yet, but the evening cookies were a nice surprise! Keep up the good work!

This place is nice. Our room is good size, headboards gorgeous, yet to have breakfast.
Would have given 5 stars but, we are unable to go do as we had planned as we are not allowed to leave our dog in the room when we leave to explore the town.. The weather is in the high 80's and I refuse to leave my dog in the car. So I guess I can say at least the room is nice enough to stay our 3 days in. This should be on the website that if you bring your dog, you cant leave in the room . So our vacation is not all we hoped it would be.

Staying long term . It s a nice hotel but the housekeeping could be better. It seems that The bare minimum is cleaned. The room I am currently in had food on the side of the microwave and a thick layer of dust on top of the dresser when I checked in. I have been in several rooms and all the sinks leak from the faucet and drain poorly. The WiFi is terrible. Several of the staff members are rude. Overall I would rate the hotel as just average.

Awesome place to stay we rode in on Motorcycles after 300+ for the day. Didn t have reservations the young girl at the desk was very accommodating. With the Edge restaurant next door with great food, atmosphere, and waitstaff. The Sauna pool and hot tub were great.

This hotel was comfortable, clean and it had a cozy feeling as soon as we walked inside to the front desk. The experience was perfect and it made our vacation experience a great joy while we stayed in the Bitterroot Valley visiting our kids and grandkids. We will be going back to this hotel in June when we return to the Bitterroot Valley for my youngest son's wedding!!

We were visiting our son nearby and needed a place to stay. The Bitterroot River Inn had good reviews so we gave it a try. What a great place. Very nice rooms and was quiet when we were there. A nice basic breakfast was available each morning and meet our needs as well.

Paid full price just to arrive to the pool closed and was put on the 3rd floor with kids so obviously got complaints about the kids being loud when I went to speak to the front desk about getting a room on the bottom she was very rude and I was made to feel that thw paying customers below us were somehow more important than this paying customer, will never stay here again will never recommend to anyone and I would change hotels if not all were booked

Searched Trip Advisor and settled on this beautiful place. Location is easily accessible, sitting by a pond and walking trail. Little patios and lounges beside each room. Lovely lobby and pleasant, helpful attendant(Erica).. Rooms are beautiful and well-appointed. Beds are comfortable and showers are great. We will be back! Thank you!

A hidden gem. Beautiful facility with log trimmings. Clean large rooms, excellent breakfast, pet friendly with no additional fee, a large adjacent dog walk area with walking path, beautiful views and a good bargain. Very happy with our stay and will definitely visit again.
