Awesome place, gourmet foods second to none. Many activities, friendly and wonderful staff, scenery is beautiful!

There is no wifi or tv but it very cute and they have a lot of outlets to charge or plug things in, the guy said only Verizon really works there and otherwise I was just there to drop someone off and visited.

We went on an awesome hike to God's Garden. Beautiful place!

Everyone at the ranch went above and beyond to make their guests feel truly appreciated. The service, accommodations, and food were impeccable. A true 6 star experience. We had the time of our lives. This will be a memorable experience for our entire family. The staff was so friendly and accommodating of all our requests. We had a blast with all the activities, enjoyed all of our meals, the bar and bartenders, evening entertainment, etc. We have already recommended your ranch to many of our friends. Can't wait to go back! Visited in middle of winter when the nights reached 22 degrees below zero. Our cabin was warm and toasty. The views were gorgeous. Of course the views and warm cabins you can get many places in Colorado but what you can't get are the absolutely fantastic well-trained horses and a staff that goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect.

I went primarily for the fly fishing and it was not as advertised. In my opinion they do not deserve the Orvis recommendation.

My mother and I just returned from a long weekend at the ranch and we were blown away by how wonderful our trip was! We had high expectations based on the reviews and reputation, but our experience went way beyond our expectations.

Sean, Scott, and Paul made sure our stay was seamless and wonderful. The riding staff Amy, Natalie, Kaleigh( spelling?) and others were absolutely stellar. Luke and Trevor taught me how to trap shoot and snow shoe and they were so fun to talk to. Alex at the bar makes a mean martini...the list goes on. Staff call you by name and the other guests we bonded with very quickly. It's ridiculous how great the C Lazy U is.

The food was wonderful, the grounds were gorgeous, and I really believe you get a great value for what you pay. We're already planning our return trip in the fall!

Amazing place for a family vacation. We did everything when we were there!

The ranch is amazing, but we had a terrible experience with reservations this year. They accepted our full payment and proceeded to cancel our reservation in error without any notice whatsoever. They claimed to have transferred the reservation to 2021, but did not send any notification of such a change. In the end they moved our party to a similar cabin, albeit different than the original reservation, but only because we were strong with our paper trail of communication. We're in unprecedented times this year, but their lack of communication was very disappointing.

C Lazy U Ranch is simply superb and it exceeded all of our expectations in every way. We were quite concerned about potential virus exposure, but the ranch does an extremely thorough job making sure the experience is as safe as it can possibly be. Great fun, great food, great rides!

We have done two corporate events here. Aside from the fabulous location and the beauty of the ranch itself, Scott and the staff take great care of us. First class!

This was the ultimate vacation. I cant wait for the opportunity to go back again. Great accommodations and fantastic food. Above all else, the service you receive from each and every employee is first class. Horseback riding is definitely a must. Rides are based on experience level so whether your a newbie or experienced rider, you will enjoy yourself. They pair you up with a horse that you will ride for the duration of your stay. After a day of riding you can go relax your aching muscles at the spa, which is made up of tents situated by the river. My first thought when I saw them was that it was going to be rugged. Boy was I wrong! The ultimate in pampering and luxury all in a rustic setting. Dont forget to book yourself a soak in the copper tub after you enjoy a facial, scrub or massage.
This is a place my husband and I cant wait to go back to.

We stayed at C Lazy U Ranch this month, March of 2020, with two adults and two children ages 6 and 3. We have never been to a Ranch before, so this trip was our first. C Lazy U Ranch exceeded our expectations and then some. We loved the experience of staying in our cabin with a beautiful big fireplace. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I don t believe pictures do it justice; the scenery is breathtaking. The food is fantastic breakfast and lunch were buffet and dinner was family style. You will never go hungry! Plenty of activities for the whole family. For reference, we did horseback riding, trap shooting, tubbing, hatches, archery, bb guns, and a sleigh ride.

It is a beautiful place with a lot to offer, and we will most definitely be back!

My Husband Elk Hunted on the ranch and the staff was very Intuitive helpful and friendly to make our stay wonderful this is a 5 star service And We would recommend this great place for hunting, horse lovers, relaxing with great people.

You cannot find a friendlier place to relax and have fun. The food is great. Everything is very clean. I enjoyed my time so much. I loved riding Starbucks.

This place is amazing. Do not miss the opportunity to stay amongst the beautiful rolling hills and take trail rides with their staff and incredible horses. Cabins are stocked full of firewood, so put your feet up and relax by a natural fire in your private cozy, cabin. Food is devine as well, and dinner never failed to impress. 10 stars!!!

Amazing experience, although the altitude was very uncomfortable tor me. The outstanding service by the staff, the comfort of the facilities, and the 5 star meals over shadowed any discomfort from the elevation.

C Lazy U Ranch hosted the most magical weekend of my family s life. My sister and brother-in-law rented out the ranch for the weekend for their wedding it was a winter wonderland dream.

The cabins are clean, spacious and have a cozy atmosphere. The perfect way to set the tone for your stay.

The food is hands down the best food we ve ever had at a wedding / large party. The steak was cooked medium rare a true medium rare.

The activities brought everyone together. We had winter games (a relay race with wedding guests), horseback riding, tubing, cross country skiing, the list of activities is long... each one was more fun than the next and the staff was incredibly friendly / fun the be around.

The ceremony orchestrated flawlessly horse drawn carriage and all. Kelly is a superstar planner and kept everyone on point.

Last, but not least, the staff and ranch hands are kind, helpful and joyous. Every person had a smile on their face the cleaning staff even left a sweet note in the guest book .

Highly recommend a true 5 star experience. Can t wait to go back!

Amazing place. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, tons of fun activities. The accommodations were perfect, comfortable and cozy. The food was amazing and I was very impressed by the craft beer and wine selections too. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

The C Lazy U Ranch is an experience unlike any other. The ranch itself is beautiful nestled among the white capped Rocky mountains, with lush fields and stunning forests. There are so many activities you can participate in that you will never be bored. You can also simply unwind and relax in the beauty of nature all around you. But perhaps the best thing about the ranch is the people. You will never experience better service. The people are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your trip special. I requested a bottle of water from the bar and the ranch hand ran across the ranch to get one for me, my mother in law asked if they had popcorn and a ranch member went in search to see if they could find any, during fishing they spent extra time with me doing everything they could to help me catch a fish, everywhere we went people knew our names and they knew what activities we had been doing and took a genuine interest in us, my entire family marveled over the service we received. The service is what sets the C Lazy U Ranch apart from all the rest! Thank you for an AMAZING trip!!!

I had the privilege of attending the Women in the Rockies program at the C Lazy U Ranch this fall as the beautiful aspen leaves were at their peak. It was a trip I will never forget. The staff at the ranch could not be kinder or more accommodating. The food was delicious, rooms were spacious, beds soft, and the fireplace added a special charm. The real magic of the ranch though is their beautiful herd of horses, each one special in their own way. The wranglers have a gift for matching you with the right horse according to your abilities and preferences. From cowboy coffee to the "jingle," C Lazy U is just magical.

Oh my god! They have so many activities with the best food!

This was an amazing place to visit. We were in the minority as most of the guests had been there 4 or more times. They ranged from families with small children to couples celebrating their anniversaries. There are a ton of activities and the food was outstanding from a chef who had worked at the Ritz Carlton. Fishing, horseback and mountain biking were our personal favorites. Best of all was the service ... top notch. Also they were taking extra precautions in light of Covid-19, but that didn't dampen the fun. Go while they still have spots left !

We took our daughter here to surprise her for her 6th birthday and they went above and beyond to give her a great experience! She's on cloud 9 and said that they made all her dreams come true!

I have gone to C Lazy U Ranch twice in the last year and it has been incredible both times. We hold our annual company meeting there and it is always enjoyable. I have a deep love for the outdoors and western themes and C Lazy U fulfills it all. The horses are well cared for and the trail rides are breathtakingly beautiful. There are lots of other activities to do if horses are not your speed. I also had the best massage of my life there this last trip (thanks Emily!). We are going to be back next year and I am already excited.

Ranch with fabulous food and wine, warm and friendly staff, lots of activities. Kids 6+ have lots of activity options. Younger kids can adventure with parents. There is a kids' corral (indoor play room) with fort, games, crafts, toys, dvd player. A playground on sand base beside the pool and perpetual fire pit give families great gathering places. Staff know the horses well and take good care of riders with clear instructions and careful mount/dismount for newbies. Contentious matching of horse with rider. A delightful, relaxing weekend! Can't wait to return!

We had an amazing experience at C Lazy U. The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel very much at home. The horses were incredibly trained and their team of wranglers were very knowledgeable and accommodating when one of the horses did not work for us. We had a great time and will be back for sure!

Came out here for a Marine Corps reunion. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The amenities are excellent as well. The staff was all very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Make sure to drink plenty of water as the elevation can affect you to am extent. Amazing place!

What a treat to attend a business meeting at C Lazy U Ranch. My husband and I took full advantage of the riding and biking opportunities offered in the mornings. I was able to have my dietary needs met without feeling as if I were missing any of the amazing food. I'd go back in a heartbeat if given the chance.

Beautiful ranch. We were spoiled all weekend for the wedding we were attending.

If you love horses, come here. They have about 200 horses to see, pet, ride. Amazing views, and clean, really nice accommodations. To top it off, you can get a massage in a big tent overlooking the river.
