Fantastic place for a walk with cool things to look at. Parking is free but super limited and its a good 2 miles uphill before you get to see anything good.
Of all the giant enclosed radio-astronomy dishes I've ever visited, this one is definitely the best! That may be because this is the only giant enclosed radio-astronomy dish I've ever visited, but it still was cool. ;^)
I love walking in the woods there plus my husband is brilliant and explains all the telescopes to me. Bonus!
Excellent facility... a tremendous asset to the community, and hopefully many visitors will agree!
