If you are a 'grown up' but still want to have fun this is the place. Great vibe, nice food, unique cocktails, trendy crowd (think professionals having fun not fashionistas) and an awesome DJ.
If u can try to stay until the end of the night. The cute French DJ always does an extra set of the crowd shouts loud enough. Fanciest 'lock in' ever.

We came here for lunch between Christmas and New Years. This was our second visit after 2 years and it didn t disappoint. The main reason to come to Zuma is for the food and it was exceptional! We even came with our 2 young children (2and 4 years old) and they loved the food too and the restaurant was very accommodating. It s not cheap but worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Zuma is the best Japanese restaurant since 10 years and still unbeatable.

It ideal location in DIFC consist of two story including dinind area and lounge.

The restaurant needs in advance reservations since it also fully booked weekdays/weekend, and the lounge as well packed on every single night.

The service is outstanding and exceed expectation at anytime of the day.

Black cod is a must order here beside their different varieties of sushi and maki.

Only one stars as the statr of the evening and the house speciality was pretty good, however toward the end we got chased off our table and then had to stand around ina smoking area waiting for deserts ... which took so long to come, we paid the bill and left - not a good end to the evening. Very Annoyed especially as the waiter kept telling us only 2 more minutes.

Service is exceptional with everything served fresh. Food quality is second to none. Probably the best value business lunch in town. And the serving size is decent. Their fried squid is divine. The green tea banana cake is also very good.

superbly cooked food! as I understood there are always no places. It is better to book a table in advance. As for the food, it is just amazing! Cocktails are also quite good by the way. Beautiful, expensive and insanely delicious! I can probably repeat it a thousand times very tasty!

Went for a brunch here with a group of friends, and I was very impressed.

As soon as you walk in they offered a welcome drink at the bar, we were made to feel relaxed and welcomed.

We sat at the table and the waitress was clear with the different packages available. We chose the prosecco package and our glasses were topped up regularly, we even asked for a specific drink that was NOT on the menu and they made it to our liking... This drink took a little longer to arrive but it was nice that they met the request in the first place. The food offered was not a huge selection but the food available was very good! Especially the beef striploin station where they cook it in front of you. Every thing that we tried was delicious.
I highly recommend this place for a brunch. It was classy and intimate.

Located in DIFC they have also a separate entrance, very convenient. Great decor & interior. Amazing business lunch menu. Reservation required especially on busy nights. Make sure you try the cocktails, they have some of the best bartenders in town!

Well.. I have to give a credit for the service and staff which they were nice..
Atmosphere of place was also nice..
Normal view..
I dont like very low light restaurants, light should be more adequate
The low rating actually is regarding the value compared to quality and quantity of food
What is the point to go to a restaurant that you pay a lot of money but you still dont feel full stomach?!!
Too expensive compared to portion of what we ordered and the taste also
Example..
Crab salad was barely any crabs in it!! And taste wasnt good actually they ruined what crab salad is
Sushi I ordered was very normal (I had much better in other restaurants)
Tartar was good to look at but still was normal tatse
I ordered passion fruit mixture which the whole mixture was wrong and taste below normal
Still I was hungry so I ordered ribs.. the ribs itself was good but the topping on it ruin it
You may use a fine meats in your menu but if you dont know how to mix it with other ingredients then it's a total waste..
I guess it's a place for who is looking for alcoholic drinks and to show off
Food lovers stay away from here..

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Dubai. The business lunch is great value and everything on the menu is worth trying. I've also been there for brunch, and the quality of food is well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Never seems to disappoint ever. Business lunch price is just great. Had the pleasure of seeing Shk Moe. Surely he ordered more than the biz lunch :). What a personality!..anyway back to Zuma..starts with the last Alphabet 'Z' but everything about it is Grade 'A'

You will not be able to find anything bad to write about this place. It is magnificent. Food is BRILLIANT! Great bar, music and ambiance. It is a bit on the high end of a bill so make sure you have gotten paid before you go!

I ve been wanting to visit Zuma for a very long time and it did not disappoint There is a huge menu choice but you can also choose the tasting menu We ordered al a crate with the guidance from our helpful waiter. We ate fish for starters and mains and all the dishes were packed with flavour The only thing I didn t like was how close our table for two was with the tables either side The atmosphere is buzzing as it was very busy how ever the service was superb I will most definitely be visiting Zuma again

A great place to hang out for after work drinks. Generally good food but a bit over-seasoned and over-sauced. Value for money? Not so great. If you have an unsophisticated palate and enjoy a bit overly seasoned food with soy sauce and sugar (and don't mind spending a fortune eating it), then this is a good place.

Superb - I cannot fault the food. I used to eat here every week but then they replaced my favourite chocolate mock-potted plant dessert with a lesser non-alcoholic version so that was a shame. I stopped eating here because I didn't really appreciate not being given a table simply because I was a solo diner, even when the restaurant was empty. Instead I had to sit at the sushi counter. So whilst I really do love the food and can highly commend it, I will not return to Zuma neither in Dubai nor in London (nor to any restaurants under the brand name).

This is a must-do on any foodie's list. For me, it was OK.. not worth the hype / wait. Portion sizes are not at all generous, though the servers are attentive and kid-friendly. Definitely worth a try, but perhaps not very repeatable

Extremely arrogant. Always needing reservations. Never punctual. Your table is always late. They want you to wait at the bar forever. My last visit to that place. Better go to Abu Dhabi Zuma anytime. Shame ! Not even worth the star !

I was honestly shocked that such a highly-regarded and highly-priced restaurant would have their customers eat with el-cheapo chopsticks that a budget restaurant in Satwa would give their customers. Excellent way to ruin a fine dining experience.

I ordered the cod and Japanese eggplant. I can tell the ingredients are fresh and the preparation is good. Even though the dishes had nice flavors, they were way too heavy and greasy. I get that this is izakaya style which is not meant to be light, but either charge Izakaya prices OR go the fine dining route and capture the delicacy of Japanese fine dining. This does neither.

Zuma literally needs no introduction! There is nothing about this famous place that people may not know of. Located in the Financial Hub of Dubai, Zuma has made sure it gets a ton of visitors definitely during lunch-time, thanks to the offices that surround this restaurant. But, did you know Zuma is equally popular for dinners and Friday brunches? They have a bunch of set-menus that they keep updating, and I think are solely there, so as to not burn a hole through your pocket.

It is fine dine at it best, and you will get what you have paid for- in terms of hospitality and service amongst the impeccable food quality! The servers here are trained well and know exactly the answer to you many questions, you may have. There is an unspoken dress-code thats apparent once you are here obviously, but if you haven't been yet, don't bother with something "casual".

The place itself is a gorgeous and contemporary work of art. Spread over 2 floors, it segregates a bar/lounge floor and a dinner and drinks floor. The music level varies too, so you have a choice!

Food
My wife and I were here on a business lunch, and opted for the set menu to make life easier and avoid the hassle of viewing and choosing off the menu. Lucky for us at that time they had a variety of poultry and meat options that we devour along with the complimentary miso soup and salad!
We did choose our drinks and I settled for a passionfruit cooler while my wife had her usual diet pepsi!
The noodle bowl, I think was one of the best dishes closely followed by the skewers and then the crispy chicken on the bone.

Desserts
The desserts were part of the menu at the time so luckily for us it was all included. No extra purchases and they had a good variety of options to choose from! Sadly, recollecting their names is a bit taxing but I mean look at them, the fondant was spectacular, and so was the caramel ice cream served on a bed of crunchy roasted pralines! The winner though in the desserts department was the green tea and banana cake topped caramel sauce and served with a scoop of coconut ice cream on the side! The cake was was so soft like knife to butter and tasted so intensely of green tea or matcha. The coconut ice cream complimented it perfectly while the caramel sauce provided the much needed sweetness! #perfection

Verdict
Dining at Zuma is a experience of its own! Go there to enjoy some top-quality exotic food or go for the posh ambiance you get while having your drinks, either way Zuma doesn't disappoint. Reservations are always recommended because it is a very popular joint!

To the management of Zuma, am on holiday in Dubai for few days and all my freinds recommended Zuma, went with one of my freinds last Thursday, you have a bartender which is very rude serves only ladies and offer them free drinks, I understand that his job is to entertain ladies but we are guests as well, not sure if he is Italian or Spanish , the other tall guy white skin looks like Serbian is amazing thanks to him we managed to get few drinks.
