I absolutely love this museum. There are so many great things to see, you might not even see them all on your first visit. The tickets prices are very fair compared to what you get in return. If you are at all interested in history, archeology, biology, etc then this is a museum that you shouldn't miss.

Spent all day. Could spend more. Up there with British Museum in my book, if a little less extensive. Flow was better.

Fields Museum is incredible. To be able to visit the entire museum plan on it taking an entire day. They have exhibits that change, so do some research on the current displays. They cost extra to see them and is easier to purchase everything at the sales desk rather than buying at the exhibit entrance. There are several exhibits that are kid friendly and interactive. The most amazing to me was Sue the T-Rex. It is the most complete T-Rex ever found. If you are planning on being in the Chicago area to see multiple museums the Chicago Pass is probably the cheapest way to see them all. The only downfall is the cost of parking, the cheapest I found was $25

Great science museum with engaging special exhibits that are rarely rivaled

There used to be a McDonald s inside of this museum. Kind of a bummer to find out it s not there anymore. Lots of good memories for me at this museum from my childhood and growing up.

So many things to see, Bring the kids. Fossils, Rocks, past cultures. So much to learn. Plan to spend the day!! Worth every cent.

Sue, the T. Rex is off from display until 2019. They have a plenty of other things to see but I would recommend allocating at least 4 hours to get most out of the full admission ticket.

It is fascinating the natural history of the different continents and to see real stuffed animals, to see the dissection process. It should be noted that the donated animals have died from natural causes and have been donated by some zoos.

So many things to look at! Plan a lot of time to see everything.

Hands down My favorite museum in the entire world, and I'm not a museum kind of guy. My second visit and I'll be back for more. Great exhibits.

Great place and lots of cool exhibits! I went with my family while on vacation and it was definitely one of our better stops while in Chicago.

There was so much to see at this museum! My Mom and I walked around enjoying the exhibits for a good part of the day and we could have easily stayed there much longer! I really loved the dinosaurs (not sure I have ever see so many anywhere before)! I loved seeing the different animals, birds and the areas about American & Native American History! This was a really great place to visit (not bad priced either)!

Just saw the Jurassic World exhibit. Absolutely amazing. Great fun for the entire family.

You could spend 3 days here and still not see everything. Cool place.

Great museum but grossly overpriced. $40 for all access. Sorry not happening. I completely understand that a museum needs to make money but the entry prices aren't reasonable.

AMAZING MUSEUM! And this is coming from a new yorker

I went here with my mom a few months ago and we saw the mummy exhibit. There is a big room that has lots of taxidermy animals which was so interesting. Lovely museum, and nice cafe added in!

When will this museum give back the Quimbayan gold figures back to Colombia? For the people who don't know, in 1893 this museum borrowed 74 precious golden figures from Colombia (south america) for a temporary exhibition and until today the Field Museum has never given them back... Please give them back instead of keeping them non exposed and in the dust! It belongs in our museums and needs to be exposed in our country forever!

This was an all day adventure! So many great things to see and do and read. I went with my 13 y/o son and we had a blast! There really wasn't an exhibit that I favored over ll. They really are all great. The animals displayed are extensive and beautifully arranged.

Price very high to eat there but a nice place for families to visit very educational and courteous helpful staff

Kind of underwhelming. Some exhibits weren't really meant for adults and most of it was really geared towards young kids. In addition there wasn't a whole lot in terms of actual historical artifacts but instead mostly consisted of things to read with plastic toys for kids to complete. Overall it was not a very bad experience but I wouldn't go unless you have really young kids (10 and under) or it won't really be worth your time

The Field Museum of Chicago is an awesome place to learn science by yourself or with everyone else you know! From Ancient Egyptian showcases to dinosaur skeletons, it has dozens of exhibits that make it one of the best museum in all of the city of Chicago.

Great place to discovery natural history and how we humans have interacted with our environment throughout the ages. The Field always has fascinating exhibits

This is a great place to take people from out of town or just to visit on one of the bad weather days. I really enjoyed the Pacific exhibit and the Recent Indian Royalty exhibit they recently had.

There is a lot of things to do in this museum, make sure you have the time needed. Good for winter time as an indoor program.

Didn't have too much time to look around but really enjoyed the experience.

I went on a school trip with 80 teenagers and there was something for everyone here. It's much bigger than I imagined. All the kids liked Sue the T-Rex

The museum is great, it has a lot of interesting exhibits and is a great place to spend the day. However, I marked it down one star as the restaurant is quite expensive, for what you get.

Get ready for a full day. Could easily spend double the time you plan. Simply fantastic.

Well put together collections that cover a wide range of natural history. Exhibits well labeled and explained. Free wifi a bonus.

This place is so huge that I needed a lot more time to see everything.

I love this place. Good special exhibits and museum staples like Sue the t rex and a nice Egyptian lay out complete with mummies. And it's all on the lake. Just make sure you dont visit if there's a game in town because they'll kill you on parking ($75 really??!!!).

This place is INCREDIBLE!! The best thing of them all is the tyrannosaurus skelleton!! I love this place and I try to come every week!

One of my favorite places on Earth. Abundance of interesting and educational exhibits.

Such a great museum. I would visit as a kid for field trips and now that I'm an adult I have a much greater appreciation for it. Loved my last trip (when I was 38).

Very fun, lots of things to see and learn about, they have a lot of dinosaurs and when we went the Mummy exhibit was in town.

Excellent place to visit and remenber what humanity has been living through the centuries

Now it is a fun place with cool and interesting exhibits, but my latest experience made me not want to go back. There is an eating area in the basement, and it is extremely dirty. I lost my appetite. That, said they make it impossible for you to bring your own food. If I have to avoid half the museum because of cleanliness, it makes me not want to go.

This place was very amazing and I enjoyed the man cave quite a bit. Out of respect for others, I didn't play an awesome drum solo but I thought about it!

I cannot emphasize this enough. You need an entire day for this museum. Every section is worth stopping by, reading the descriptions of and spending a good amount of time at.

The dinosaur fossils, the Egyptian section and the meteors, I would say, are the highlights.

Also, did you know that Sue (the T-rex fossil) is the most complete one ever found?

Couldn't even come close to fitting everything into one day. We will definitely be back time and time again.

A phenomenal natural history museum that ignites the imagination and the love for learning within. Has something for all ages, even a fun, hands-on toddler area. I especially loved the mummy exhibit!

The ticket guy reminded me of the sloth from zootopia

I have seen most of the museum. I always add on an exhibit when I come the next time, to see something new. Come early and with a prepaid pass from online to skip the whole line of people.
