It was fun and a nice place to take children to explore. Very interesting exhibits and tons of information/fun facts. The Jurassic world exhibit was super exciting to have one of my favorite childhood movies from Jurassic Park come true (in a good way).

The specific exhibitions are paid a la carte and to enjoy it you have to pay the global amount of 38.00 $ US. We can however spend a whole day there is to see if we like the natural sciences he will say

This place is a great example of how human curiosity can lead us to accomplish big feats such as knowing more about how we came on this planet itself. Please go here if you love dinosaurs or are simply curious and interested in science. You won't regret visiting it.

Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso da questo museo.

I reperti sono tantissimi e il museo molto vasto.
Ho impiegato almeno 4 ore per vederlo tutto, senza purtroppo avere tempo di vedere tutti i dettagli.

Assolutamente consigliato!

Of all the museums I have been to, this was definitely the best. There is just so much to see, read and study that I could spend here weeks and still not get bored and not cover everything. I spent half a day here and tried to cover as much ground as possible. This is definitely a must see place in Chicago. And yes, don't miss Sue, the world's best preserved and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex bones!

One of the most education places in Chicago. The "Sue" exhibit is fascinating. I will suggest the 3D movie on T-Rex too, but don't take the small children. I loved the show but it's about a meat eating dinosaur that weights 30,000 lbs.

The museum is quite large and has fantastic displays of animals and ancient Egypt. We stumbled upon an Egyptian tour guide named John that really made our day. He gave us tons of fascinating information and answered our kids questions happily ( they asked him at least 50!).
The only complaint we have is the bistro is incredibly over priced (plan about $15-20 per person) and the staff attitudes were quite bad. Skip eating there or bring your own food and enjoy it in the lower level vending/cafeteria areas.

First time visit. So much to see. Plan on spending a good part of the day wondering around the exhibits. Make sure you get a map so you can find your way around and mark off the areas you've been. make it a point to stop here. You won't regret it.

One of the best museums in North America. Huge beautiful building for viewing architecture, but the exhibits are large with lots to see in each. You get a full over view of what you are looking at - wildlife, planetary evolution, Indian culture, etc. It s easy to spend all afternoon wandering the exhibits.

I had a great time at this museum, we were there over the weekend and we found some really cool exhibits. I wish the Egyptian exhibit was included in our package.
I had the explorer pass, they should make it more clear on the app.

What an amazing museum. We went with the mummy exhibit and it was absolutely fantastic. There is so much to see here you could spend at least two days seeing all the sights.

And the dinosaurs! Our little gal loved seeing all the bones and interacting with the kiosks.

It it really a must see destination.

Pretty much every animal on the planet is stuffed somewhere in this Museum. The Egyption exhibits are really top-notch, as are the dinosaurs. It was annoying that our CITYpass would not cover the special exhibition on the clay soldiers

It is interesting to see that a beautiful museum fossil is really interesting and that some of the sections are boring. It is interesting that the people who are renovating the Esenler are working in a live compartment so that they can be seen from the outside

Have been twice and have had a great experience both times. My son and I were treated to an early morning lesson by one of the curators making their rounds in the Egyptian area. He took the time to take us around and point out a lot of different facts and made the experience very personable. Also visited several years prior when the King Tut exhibit was touring the country. I enjoyed the museums artifacts better than the traveling exhibit. So much to experience a simple review cannot do it justice. Will come back next time we are in Chicago.

nice, but the food was a little pricey and we had to wait 2 hours in line [in the rain!!!] to get in to find out they were letting members[us] in before the other people, next time if you ever go there make sure to check everything out!

An amazing ongoing collection of human and natural history. There's a Noah's Ark worth of animal specimens that you'd have to travel the world to see and a constantly updated collection of art and craft from around the world. A destination not to missed if you are in the Chicago area.

Had an excellent time at the Field Museum! I will admit that I had a difficult time finding a more accessible entrance, and rather than walk all the way around the building, I chose to walk up the front stairs. They do offer wheelchairs to those who need them and have elevators clearly marked on maps that they hand out to every guest. Some of the exhibits are a bit difficult to maneuver, one with rather steep, long ramps in it, but we managed and had a great time otherwise. The special exhibits available are incredible, and I enjoyed myself immensely. I definitely want to come back here again!

Love it

This museum is a must see for all out of town visitors and locals alike. The care that goes into each exhibit and display is world class, and the sheer variety and scale of their collection could take a week to view thoroughly. The museum itself is historical, yet modern and well kept. It also has exhibits for young and old and everyone in between. Definitely worth a special detour.

The Field Museum is the best. I like attend this place every couple months. Last time I attended some exhibition about Ancient Egyptians. It was my favorite, bc I'm crazy about Ancient Egypt. I really recommend to everyone go there. And if you resident IL or student you can get tickets for $15.00. So, have fun!

Came to see the Sue exhibit with the whole family and just loved being able to see and explore so much more! I highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Chicago. There is so much to see we weren't even able to do it all in the 5 or so hours we were there.

The musseum has a great collection, many different things to see, you definitely need more than 3 hours just to see the basics. I wish they would suggest a path to walk through the rooms without missing anything or having to come back. Nice staff, clean restrooms.

Great.

Family favorite to visit from out of town. Food extremely limited for multiple food allergies, my son allergic to top 8 + (but soy oil ok) can eat the fries downstairs without a reaction.

Spent the day with my 5 mth old and 10 mth old. They loved all the things to look at and touch. Blessed the bathrooms had changing tables easily accessible. Wasn't crowded and was elevator accessible for the strollers. Only wish we would have bought some attraction tickets. Parked at the stadium parking across the way which was heated so babies didn't get chilled.

Nice
