Our meal came with alot of sides,that we filled up on , i was kinda disappointed in the rotisserie chicken it was so dry i couldn't eat it, the fish was ok but wasn't better than anywhere else , the waiter we had was awesome

We had 17 people for dinner yesterday in Zehnder's dining room. Service was wonderful (Angie was the server) and food was excellent as always. Shortly after, my husband went to get the car and came back in to the lobby suffering a massive heart attack. The Zehnder's personnel immediately offered help, summoned an ambulance, offered any assistance we needed and stayed with us until the ambulance arrived. They were so helpful to us as we were quite rattled at this time. We truly appreciate the staff that were there to assist us and want you to know that we will be back. Such a wonderful place to eat and so nice to know that you have caring people there on your staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Thank you so much!

I did not appreciate the server cleaning our table while we were still there. Also did not like their policy of you adding the tip before they ring it up. Server sees tip before you get assignable copy.

Went during a week night. Visiting from out of state, the place sounded good but it was more of a cafe then a restaurant. Not to many signs to direct what to do, then when you ask the staff they are very short and not much help. The chicken that is so talked about was very dry and not much flavor to any of the food.. spent $30 for 2 people and was not impressed more irritated.

I've heard about this place from many people like this is a nice place, decided to check it out for my bday dinner. Beautiful looking restaurant, friendly staff wearing those Bavarian style clothes was very cute. Food was good, we had a tons of appetizers, couldn't handle them all. Entrees were delicious, I had chicken in a pastry and bf had a steak, both delicious, especially the sauces that came with the chicken. Nice beer, very German ish. The ceiling in one of the rooms is covered with family names of the first settlers, who migrated from Bavaria. Nice historical touch!
The romantic evening, though, was kind of ruined by a very loud group of 10-13yo kids with two ladies with them, who didn't even try to make them quiet, so didn't anyone from the restaurant management. Kids were extremely loud, laughing, screaming and we were sitting just behind them, they were listening music on phones, jumping and I think they were trying to flirt with the waiter, which was totally inappropriate and weird. I believe that Zehnder's is a place with the kind of atmosphere that should make people who you're with even closer and enjoy the atmosphere, not trying to have your dinner as fast as possible and leave. Probably would come back again.

I've visited Zehnder's Marketplace many times. My family really enjoys the pastries in the bakery. All of the bakery items are made fresh on location, the portions are quite generous, and everything is delicious. There is also a counter to purchase fine chocolates and there are lots of gift items available (mugs, seasonings, jellies, candies, etc). We always make it a point to stop in here when we're in Frankenmuth!

This place is great to relax and have fun, Kids had a blast in the water. Room was great and the people that work here are nice.

The food is always on point here. Chicken, mashed potatoes, cranberries, etc. I can't get enough! If I lived closer I'm sure I'd be there every night for dinner! The chicken dinner is delicious. I bet anything else you order will be just as tasty!

Did curbside today and was very satisfied with wait time. They also were knowledgeable about gluten free options. Our Chicken dinners were excellent. We will be back.

We love Zehnders restaurant! Good food and we always leave full and with plenty of leftovers! Much more food for the price than other area restaurants. Reservations are accepted but not required. We always get the chicken dinner.

We did the food court downstairs - and it was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the red beets salad.

I was disappointed today at Zehnders. We paid $33 a person for the Easter buffet, and the food was bland. There were several choices food wise, and the dessert table was ok. The chicken was very dry and the soup was served cold. Our waiter was FANTASTIC and made us smile, however it didn't make up for the food, but he was sweet.

Excellent food combined with excellent service in a beautiful Bavarian setting. Winner winner chicken dinner!! ;)

It's time to get on board with those who prefer to leave meat off our plate. Stir fry doesn't get it. Have they heard of the Beyond Burger? Gardien makes great chickenless chicken that can be made into almost anything. It's time to wake up, non-meat eaters want more than salad!

Wonderful buffet! We reserved the Cowpath room in November and we love it! Only 5 tables in there. Very private! Lovely!

This place is famous for their chicken dinners, but have a large selection of entrees on their menu. The food was very tasty & plentiful. The wait staff was excellent & attentive. My only suggestion is to clarify what your entree includes. We ordered eggplant parmesan thinking it came with a pasta (our waiter thought so, too) but it was just the eggplant. However our waiter brought egg noodles without charge since he had provided incorrect information. I would recommend this restaurant, but is a bit more costly than a standard restuarant.

We live fairly far away but Zehnder's is always the go-to place for family birthday dinners and the food never disappoints always good serving staff is wonderful

Rotisserie chicken was overcooked and dry. Chicken pot pie was lukewarm and so salty I couldn't make out any other flavor. 45 minutes to get our lunch. Hamburger a bit dry.

Awesome restaurant. Great food. Wait times are long due to high demand. Recommend making reservations ahead of time.

Family chicken dinner is always good. Had another great waitress this time. I always go early to breast the crowd.

Our waitress was warm and friendly in her greeting helpful when asked about choices we did settle on the family style chicken dinner just love the noodles cranberry and orange cake sauce the chicken good flavor homemade family gravy to put on top potatoes in the stuffing. Always a joy to go to Zehnder's of Frankenmuth when you walk through the doors attractive reality our family and my entire family consider Zehnder's a part of our family they're always a part of our trip to Frankenmuth keep up the great work.God Bless you all and thank you for all the work you put in so we could enjoy ourselves

Excellent authentic German food. Make sure that you are hungry as it's all you can eat.

Great food but much overpriced. YOU CAN GET A STEAK DINNER FOR THE PRICE OF THIS CHICKEN DINNER. $25 PER PERSON FOR THE MEAL. IT SET US BACK $68 WITH TAX AND TIP. NEVER AGAIN.

Unbelievably good food in a cool German atmosphere. This is the site of our annual family get-together. Always fun to head to the basement and shop after dinner, or stroll the street. I'm addicted to the butter noodles!

Very good food. The sides like the coleslaw and mashed potatoes are excellent. The chicken is good but the breading could use some spice. Nice atmosphere and the wait staff costumes are pretty cool.

Had the most amazing time with the family. Rooms were clean and big and the waterpark is pretty amazing plus you can have a cocktail while you play in the water

My family goes here every year for the Halloween fest! We all have fun and there are enough activities and water toy and slides to choose from that everyone is entertained! Highly recommend visiting! All staff members we've encountered have been friendly and helpful. The buffet for breakfast is amazing! We tried ordering from the regular menu at the main zehender restaurant for dinner one night and were not impressed.

Beautiful place food was good, I would myself rather eat at the Bavarian Inn, I felt the chicken was better, but all in all Zehnders is wonderful.

Had reservations for Saturday Sept 5th at 7pm. I DID NOT remember to inform them of my mobility issue (Amputation) and when they said we had to walk across the ball room and downstairs I just couldn t make the walk. The manager who was clearly busy, stopped and MADE SURE we were seated upstairs. I was very thankful and impressed as I was not entitled to that type of service. Well done and thank you!!!

Chicken was cold and dry shrimp was cold fish was cold. NOT WORTH 30 BUCKS A PERSON. The bathrooms WERE DISGUSTING. Never again will I give you 30 bucks for that slop. I will go to the Brewery for half that price and get a way better meal. 30 bucks a person. COMPLETE RIP OFF.

We always stop at Zehnders for lunch when in the area and for their great birthday club. I had the chicken liver dinner and the wife had the family style dinner. Both meals were very tasty and came at just the right time. If you like liver, the chicken lovers prepared here are excellent. Also a great shopping area in the lower level with a large selection of food and wine you can buy and take home and a bakery.

Haven't been here in years,used to come as a kid even rember a field trip here, just as good as I remembered!! My old lady loved it we live 10 hr away now but worth the trip, will be back soon.

They have way too many people packed into the dining areas. It was difficult to even maneuver to the restrooms. Only one paper towel dispenser in the restroom was filled. The service was a bit slow, but the employees appeared to be working very hard.

Family chicken dinner was served in a timely matter, hot and delicious a little pricey.

My family has been going to Frankenmuth and we never skip the opportunity to visit Zehnders for the delicious dinners and unique shops.

First time eating here. The Ambiance is family friendly. The chicken dinner all you can eat is a lot of food. The chicken was not as good as I had heard but definitely good enough to come back!

Chicken was very dry. Stuffing no flavor. Over salted. I never got my credit card back and was told I probably did not pick it up from the table. I was supposed to get a call back the next day letting me know whether or not it was found. Never received a call.

Bland food or noodle soup that tastes like fish server nice yet slow we waited about ten mins just to talk about drinks we hand already got are food before are drinks and breads over all just nasty food

Not sure why everyone loves this place. Overpriced. Bland chicken, couldn t cook a burger right. Just a tourist attraction.
