I love zaza. Good food from all over the world. Its not cutting new ground with the quality of the food. But its a great idea at a good price. The service is great and the variety is always fun

Awesome buffet place, plenty of variety, and really good value, we went there as a group of people, and ended up all completely stuffed. I recommend it for if you all want something different.

This place, is one of the only places in Bristol I regularly visit, as a someone born in this town.

The food is amazing and cooked openly in front you, its a buffet like style where you help your self. There are many diverse food selections from different cultures. It is child friendly, with child high chairs (just ask) and my kids absolutely love it. They even have there own ice cream machine, where you make proper ice creams like they do in the vans, and a big pudding and sweets section, a favourite last section we all go to!

Prices are not to expensive, with evening being more expensive than day times, and Mondays usually have a deal going. Children are half price of adults, and under 3/4 or something like that is free.

This is a really nice restaurant, with nice views over the harbour, and plenty of transport near it, plus other amenities, if you are wanting to plant a day out.

This restaurant, would be pleasing to all groups, unless you want a quiet private small establishment, then it is not for you, this is a chirpy, diverse, and well loved place, so gets packed, but not so you can not move about freely and accordingly.

The buffet was rather overpriced. The food was mediocre at best. The sushi was bland and the texture of it was tough. The Chinese food such as the dim sum wasn t great either. I found the tacos to be satisfactory. The Indian food was okay.

On the plus side, the ambience was nice and the staffs were pretty friendly. There was also a good variety of cuisines available. Nevertheless, I don t think I ll be going back anytime soon.

Wouldn't suggest dining here due to their covid19 measures, especially if it's on a weekend. You have to wait in long queues for nearly everything, selection in dishes seems more limited than usual, doesn't feel like a buffet & all you can eat anymore. Would've went to a normal restaurant if I knew I had to be served everything.

After several recommendations we tried it would we go again doubtful. Place was nearly empty so the food had been hanging around and was mainly cold Could really do with a deep clean, tables were fine but the rest of the place looked grubby. Bit like a motorway service station absolutely no atmosphere.

Disappointing experience after such high hopes. Food quality all round was very poor. We were left not wanting to eat what was on offer after trying various bits. Small snippets of alright food.
Service was fine.

The result of new rules after lockdown - active service and you can not move between stations. Food is good enough, but sometimes it would be good to select something else if you do not like what select and was served, but it is not possible.

Food was decent, price was good. The great thing here is variety of food, not every dish tasted great though. Give the Jamaican curry goat a miss, but the Jamaican blackened fish was tasty and the sushi was fresher than any buffet I'd been to before. Service was good as well.

Worst dining experience ever! I wouldn't wish this on anyone. This is where size does not matter. I don't care how big or small the restaurant is. We were there to dine, not to pay some silly money to be cramped in a place that served hideous food and to be treated badly by the manager. Layout and decor: Interesting concept, but because it was too crowded and we were seated in the section where there was only concrete flooring, the noise was quite unbearable, especially when someone decided to leave the table to go and get food - the screeching noise on the floor when chairs were pulled back was just beyond unpleasant. Food: I'm generally easy going when it comes to food and would eat just about anything apart from durian. There was indeed a wide selection, but it would only be nice if the quality of food was high, which unfortunately was not the case at this restaurant. Indian curries were generally ok. Chinese dim sum - spring rolls, chicken dumplings and siu mai I tried - were all soggy. My partner tried the crispy something (not sure if it was meant to be beef, lamb or duck), but it was so dry and chewy that, like the dim sum, was inedible. Vietnamese Pho was just terrible. The pho itself was ok, but the soup base was like a bowl of MSG diluted in water, which was just unimaginably wrong. After our bad experience with the 'main courses', we were hoping and in fact, initially thought that dessert seemed to be the saving grace. Chocolate fountain and soft ice cream machine were nice ideas. Creme brulee was actually lovely (I found it too sweet, but it was still quite nice). But good grief! We tried the dainty little mango mousse cake / cheesecake, we took a small bite and we had to spit it back out, because it was simply disgusting! It tasted like vomit and the texture was like baby food. Other cakes on display looked like they had been there for days and had dried out, i.e. not enticing at all. After sampling a few dishes, I gradually felt sick, and shortly after eating that disgusting cake, I had to dash to the bathroom. Let's say dinner did not stay down for long. Staff: The waiting staff was generally polite and helpful. The young waiter cleared the plates from our table quite efficiently. The Manager of the place, however, should be sent back to business school to learn 'How to deal with customers feedback and complaints' and 'customer service 101'!!! He was rude, defensive and nasty. Before he even listened to my feedback (it wasn't even complaint as such), he was denying liability, and generally being defensive. I then calmly voiced my opinions and feedback with regards to the dining experience, which was responded smugly and angrily by him - 'If you don't want to come back in the future, so be it.' He then stomped off like a spoilt little child. (mind you, we are talking about a grown man who's probably in his 40s) If the feedback was handled a bit more professionally by a mature member of the management team, I wouldn't be sitting here, re-writing my review on this page (for some reason, my first review I just wrote disappeared). At least the waitress had the decency to apologise for the bad experience, and truthfully, not only was it not her fault, but it was rather bizarre that a junior member of staff needed to apologise for senior management. I did ask if I could speak to his superior regarding this incident, but I was told that he's the GENERAL MANAGER! That's just shocking! ... it would look like that someone needs to learn some manners and stop having his head up you-know-where. It would also appear that he has no clue what bad word of mouth would do to an otherwise healthy business, let alone a restaurant that has already got its fair share of bad reviews. All in all: (1) an overpriced meal at a cramped and noisy restaurant; (2) mediocre or even inedible food; (3) relatively good service from staff; (4) unfortunately managed by an extremely rude and hopelessly tactless character.

All you can eat on steroids. Foods from all over the world and if you want it fresh, it's made before your eyes with your ingredients. Great quality food and they do a bottomless drink for a good price.
The desserts are great too.

Well worth the price and the best around by a mile.

Had a great lunchtime, plenty of choice of various foods, every body in our party tried different food and deserts. Drinks a bit limited and expensive other wise all good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Amazing range of multi national cuisine in a huge premises. Great location near the harbour. Cosmo, it's competitor, overtakes it on choice on my visit because the selection wasn't as good. Still well worth a visit and to the downstairs Za Za Bar.

People have been telling me about this place for so long and as an indecisive eater compounded with different likes from my spouse this multi cultural buffet seemed a slam dunk. The food was great and the bottomless fountain drinks were appreciated. I feel the Tex-Mex stand could use much more substance. The dessert stand didn't blow me away either. But we were well fed at the Italian, Asian and Indian counters. I'd go again but it wouldn't become my go to stop every time I'm in town.

Both disabled toilets were out of action so I asked to see the management because one of my family members needed to use it, waited 10 minutes to see a manager then finally when the manager came he seemed to have a million and one excuses instead of a simple apology, that was another 10 minutes.
In the end after a huge conversation and several family members complaining the manager allowed a free meal for the one family member who had to wait just to simply use a toilet ( which was in the abled toilets assisted by one of my family members) the food was okay but the service was awful.

Visited Za Za Bazaar Bristol at lunchtime today. I reserved a table although we were slightly into their lunchtime slot which ended at 4:45pm. I told the young lady on reception that my wife was going to make her way in from home and she said that as long as we got in before 4pm it would be fine. I called my wife and she drove in from Portishead. When she arrived at Bristol we walked into Za Za Bazaar and gave my reservation number to be told that I was put down as a no show and my table had been given away to somebody else although I did make it very clear that my wife needed to drive in from Portishead. Wasted my time and my wife's time. This would have been our first experience to this restaurant. My wife has had a similar experience when she previously came with a friend.

Will I ever visit this restaurant again, definitely not. I am being told that Cosmo on the Triangle in Clifton is a million times better, so that's where we are going now and in the future hopefully!
