Really amazing place! Lovely fresh food and if you go at a good time can be cheap aswell! Just make sure you go not in peak times beacuse this place will get very busy.
So much choice from a huge variety of cuisines, great prices and even live cooking stations
Been in last week with Covic 19 regulations running.
One way system used is impossible to use.
All customers not wearing masks and walking all over with plates of food.
Screens all over the food and impossible to hear chefs who now serve you over the loud music playing.
Great place, good views and if you want a choice of foods from different cultures then this is the place. And then if you got room then a bit of dessert to be had and washed down with a nice lager, bottomless or a cocktail or two.
Food was fresh and tasty. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Cocktails were on 2 for 10 which made it great value.
Wonderful selection of foods from around the world!
A for sure must do!
Brilliant place to hold a birthday meal. Food is amazingly good for the variety offered.
Been several times. Great way to introduce the kids to different cuisine. Also good for groups who can't decide whether they're out for an Indian, Chinese, Mexican or fish & chips. Something for everyone and always good food/ service
Food is nice on select sections i didnt enjoy it all. The meat seems really fatty but i loved the indian. The waiters just seem to hover around you and dont even give you a chance to finish before taking your plate. All in all id rather spend less money and go to cosmos.
Went here whilst on tour with my band and it was an extremely good idea! Plenty of vegetarian options too :)
Food is always freshly made and there is a massive variety. Children 0-4 years eat free and children 5-11 eat half price. Cheaper to eat during the week than the weekend by a couple of pounds. Evening meals are more expensive but you get more choice. Value for money as you can eat whatever you fancy for the set price. My youngest prefers all the pudding options as there are jelly beans, Smarties, a chocolate fountain, marshmallows and soft-serve ice cream machine (as well as individual shots of jellies, portions of various cheesecakes and sweet deserts and fresh fruit).
The dining area is upstairs (lift available) and overlooks the harbour side. It's set up with different dining 'stations' along one main stretch. Blocks such as Tex Mex, Indian, China etc give many food options and lots of vegetarian variety also. The chef's constantly prepare meals in the centre of each food station. Due to the huge set up and the fact that it caters for many people during any one sitting (you get 1and 1/2 hour slot for dining), it can be rather noisy but it just adds to the 'street dining' feel to it all.
There is a bar where you can purchase drinks, although the refillable soft drink glasses are a good option. They are very happy to bring free jugs of water over also.
Only giving 4 stars due to having to wait for twenty minutes to pay after we finished. This has not happened in past visits however and I wonder if it was due to the location of our seating in this instance as we were in a booth that was set back from the main seating area (there were 5 of us and seating in main open areas is mostly in groups of 4).
Definitely worth prebooking via their website as it's always busy when we go at weekends. Parking spaces at the very nearby Millennium square underground parking means it is easy to get to. A two minute walk to the aquarium or children's science museum. We chose to walk off lunch with a stroll along the harbour.
Great experience with friends. Food was amazing and so much to choose from. Reasonable price
Food is plentiful .. especially European and Asian, reasonable price to eat this style of food and high relative to those who will not give up the good food in our regions
Great choice of food. Rather expensive as they only do a Christmas price when we visited and obviously more expensive. Very busy and noisy
Very good place to try some variety dishes from ale over the world.
Love this place, it has multiple types of food from Italian to Indian and Japanese. A fair price for infinite food. The bar downstairs is comfortable. Buffet is very tasty.
Firstly I dont know a single person who has gone.here and not found food to there liking. The range is ridiculously huge, and ontop of that good quality. There is a special on Mondays where it is 10 pounds a person which is an absolute bargain. Very fun for groups or a couples thing. If your girlfriend doesnt eat much perhaps go on lunch where the choice is a little less (still huge variety) and it is cheaper at that time to !
We love za zas, great fun, cheap and will go again, just book first as the waits can be very long
Great food but you do feel rushed because of the time limit and music type
Really enjoyed that they can also cook your choice in front of you
Celebrated my husbands birthday with delicious selection of food. Everything was perfect. Having small portions allows you to experience more. Staff were AMAZING. Will defo go back 100%.
The food wasn't that good and the service was terrible for the money I expected a lot more from here. The stir fry was bland, the chicken over cooked. The plates are tiny too. I won't be going here again and I would advise against going here.
Very plain normal food, not hot except the live cooking is hot. Disappointed.
Good place to try new foods, not very expensive if using student discount but the selection can vary in quality and quantity (one counter will have fresh Kalimari, the other will have soggy curry). Infinite pizza, drinks etc
Always good food and plenty of choice. Only wish you weren't rushed out
Great meal. This place offers plenty of choice for everyone's taste, and I thought the price was also pretty decent for what was on offer.
They serve delicious food.. Have been many times there
Great choice of food ... enjoyed the lunch and company.
Surprisingly better than you'd imagine.
Ordinarily all-you-can-eat buffets are something I would avoid at all costs but whilst Za Za Bazaar is still a sea of fried beige, the choice and flavor is actually ok.
As you'd expect there are the usual Westernized global takeaway options from around the world; some better than others.
Far from fine dining but better than you might well expect.
Bloody amazing food. I loved the Indian cuisine. The dessert part is a bit bland in comparison to the rest of the food on offer.
Food good, quite noisy. If you're allergic to Soya, stay away! Most food has it in. My wife could not find any exciting meal.
Good standard. Indian food very good
Liked the kheer rice pudding.
Really bad experience with these people very rude , robbed me twice for one meal then wont give me a refund , call up and they just try and fob you off , food is not all at and not worth the price wont be going back to them again .Dont even deserve a 1 star .
Crazy crazy place to much food and not enough time or belly space to accommodate it all lol if you like you food and want to try food from around the world all cooked by chefs in front of you this is the place to go for a fast all you can eat experience
A plethora of world cuisines to try, which are stationed out and freshly made in front of you. So there will definitely be something for everyone. Being a foodie, I was surprised to find dishes I haven t heard before and love them. Heard about this place before and had high expectations that were met. Huge place to accommodate large parties and perfect for our work leaving do. Price wise, it is reasonable for the buffet in terms of taste and range of choices - though as with most buffets it is more value for the big eaters, however this is also value for the food cuisine tasters.
This is a fixed price buffet-style restaurant. Have been to a number of these types of places before. While there is a little less choice than some places, it is more focussed and better quality. I like the street food setting they've created which fits the big noisy atmosphere and really does feel like an eastern bazaar.
You are never going to have top quality food at these places but I find they are brilliant for children. Refillable soft drinks are a little pricey if you only have one, but forgivable when balanced with the food value.
Loved the food, staff is working hard to keep the customer satisfied, lots of choices
Recommended
Service very good.
Environment very well.
A little disappointed on the choice of sushi. There is no real sushi for fish. Only sushi with cucumber, chilli or other vegetables.
Price / quality ratio, it is better to go to days like Sunday night, where the price is reduced.
The place is same as Jimmys Spices. I am so sorry for this rating! The food was ok, but it s not halal. We called to confirm whether it was halal and were advised it was and no pork ! We turned up, had some food from Indian counter which More
Lots of food. Busy . cosmo better. But alll good when drinks are 2-4-1.
Good food, a little slow on service which is to be expected
Things are very affordable, the price is reasonable, the dishes are biased towards Asia, and there are student discounts.
Amazing food served. Excellent customer service offered by staff and wide variety of food buffet to choose from
Amazing service, especially given the current circumstances. Felt really safe and the service was brilliant
Super, a great place to spend your free time with family or friends enjoying the best culinary delights.
Choose from a wide range of international buffet food. Beginning of the end for me.
Great food and bar service - not so good table service. We were left with piles of dirty plates for much of our meal. Bad staff management on the restaurant floor maybe ?
All you can eat of whatever food you could imagine friendly and helpful staff.
Brilliant buffet restaurant, good for all ages except maybe really old people
Great for kids and lunch, not for the serious foodie
For an eat till you can't diner I was really impressed with the range and quality of the food, I've only been here a couple of times but have thoroughly enjoyed, will definitely return
Great night. Turned up at 5 without booking. Great table. Great food as usual.
Lots of food. It's ok but nothing special. Just like other world food buffet places just bigger. Beware they give you a timeslot limiting how long you can be there.
Always a favorite.
Just have to ensure you give a gap of at least 2 months between visits so that the cuisine changes a bit. That is the only gripe about this place. The cuisine stays same for a pretty long time
Arrived 35 mins early. They let us switch booking forward half an hour. Straight to a table overlooking riverboats. Served immediately with drinks by smiling waitress. Chose tea. Came quickly. Nice English brew. Then headed out to choose food. Huge choice of dishes from around the world. You have to ignore 10 things that you really fancy and try them next time you come. I chose a Madras curry and some crunchy, filled things and some meatball things, just trying not to be too greedy. Crunchy things were great. Meatballs too. Curry was ace, if a bit salty, but wolfed the lot. Very spicy. Made me sweat. Yay! Perfect excuse to have ice cream, pair it with a scoop of caramelly stuff and some little jelly and cream things and chocolate cakes. Really tasty and quite light. Very very nice indeed. Staff hovered to keep our table tidy; all smiling and very polite. Bill came promptly after we asked for it. With another smile. Happy to leave a tip. Definitely going back to try something new next time. Love the place.
Went yesterday, been many times before. Usual gear on offer all of it good value.
Considering the volume and variety, this is a top notch establishment.
A great selection of foods fro around the world, tasty too.
Rude staff welcomed us into the restaurant so we decided to eat somewhere else.
Wide selection of food, good/acceptable quality yet can sometimes be luke warm (understandably). That said, it is cheap and cheerful, good food and recommended for big groups.
Amazing selection of food to choose from and all ypu can eat too!
I got placed into a corner surrounded by everyone even though there were plenty of tables available in quieter areas.
I've usually found AYCE places to be nice food, but here everything looks really unhygienic and tacky.
I went to the toilet and there was No Toilet paper, luckily there was a tiny dreg left but I had to fish for it.
When I returned someone had cleared my table with my food.
Overall I had a really unhappy time and don't feel I shouldn't have had to pay, I barely ate anything anyway.
