Food is always freshly made and there is a massive variety. Children 0-4 years eat free and children 5-11 eat half price. Cheaper to eat during the week than the weekend by a couple of pounds. Evening meals are more expensive but you get more choice. Value for money as you can eat whatever you fancy for the set price. My youngest prefers all the pudding options as there are jelly beans, Smarties, a chocolate fountain, marshmallows and soft-serve ice cream machine (as well as individual shots of jellies, portions of various cheesecakes and sweet deserts and fresh fruit).

The dining area is upstairs (lift available) and overlooks the harbour side. It's set up with different dining 'stations' along one main stretch. Blocks such as Tex Mex, Indian, China etc give many food options and lots of vegetarian variety also. The chef's constantly prepare meals in the centre of each food station. Due to the huge set up and the fact that it caters for many people during any one sitting (you get 1and 1/2 hour slot for dining), it can be rather noisy but it just adds to the 'street dining' feel to it all.

There is a bar where you can purchase drinks, although the refillable soft drink glasses are a good option. They are very happy to bring free jugs of water over also.

Only giving 4 stars due to having to wait for twenty minutes to pay after we finished. This has not happened in past visits however and I wonder if it was due to the location of our seating in this instance as we were in a booth that was set back from the main seating area (there were 5 of us and seating in main open areas is mostly in groups of 4).

Definitely worth prebooking via their website as it's always busy when we go at weekends. Parking spaces at the very nearby Millennium square underground parking means it is easy to get to. A two minute walk to the aquarium or children's science museum. We chose to walk off lunch with a stroll along the harbour.
