Zafferano restaurant Review

Superlative service and excellent food. A great place for a business lunch or important conversation -- the staff know when to approach and when not to.

One of the best ways to know if an Italian restaurant is top notch is to invite your best Italian (or Sicilian friend) to an Italian restaurant. That was the case of Zafferano where we enjoyed their homemade pasta (their seafood pasta was relish) and their tagliata. I was not a lot impressed with their tiramisu but the coffee was top. Highly recommended to bring your +1 or just for friends. The clientele was mostly a bit on the old side but the food is excellent. Reservations are extremely needed.

Worst service in Chelsea!!! If you want water, glass of wine or simply the bill please allow at least 30 min to get response!!

My favourite Italian in London! The food is authentic Italian, very good, very tasty and the service is excellent. The staff are happy to accommodate allergies and will check to ensure that there is no cross-contamination. And, fortunately for me, they have an extensive and well thought out wine menu!

Definitely not as good as it used to be. I would go somewhere else. Expensive and nothing special. Add to that, i called to get a table and they told me that there was a queue of half an hour, and they cant put my name down. I checked opentable and i reserved a table in 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant, and it was empty.

Craving fresh-made, quality pasta, I was recommended to Zafferano as among the best up-scale Italian in London. From the knowledgeable sommelier who recommended the perfect bottle of wine (and didn't try to upsell on overpriced bottles), to the waiters who made sure that each of the fresh-from-the-market were highlighted and served with aplomb, the restaurant did not disappoint. Mixed crowd of couples celebrating happy occasions and bankers congratulating each other on successful deals (but don't let that deter you). Certainly paying for the surroundings (an upscale neighborhood and open decor) and top-market cuisine, but it all feels worth it.

Really great, authentic Italian food. Their fresh pasta is amazing, the truffle menu is a real treat, and the wine selection is extensive. The staff are terrific, very knowlegable and accommodating. Recently had a birthday dinner here, and the dessert was gratis! A definite recommend.

The dishes are simple and accessible yet the flavors are anything but. The lobster linguine is a tried and true favorite. This restaurant thrives on consistency and the staff are nothing short of wonderful. Always greeted with smiles and efficient service. Authentic Italian food, genuinely happy to serve you staff, and a wonderful spot to return to whenever that craving for homemade pasta strikes.

Made reservation online and came here for dinner ..one of the highlights must be the italian wine which tastes so good ...all the dishes are served with nice presentation..you probably won t be able to finish the entire tiramisu by yourself and suggested to share ...overall dining experience is perfect ..and will definitely come here again...

A bit pricey for the quality. We had a great salad starter, a good pasta with mushrooms and undercooked and too bitter trofie al pesto.

This place has a great reputation. Still, while we enjoyed our last dinner there, we miss that little extra that would make it so special. No doubt, food quality is very high, the setting modern high class, and the staff caring. But you find this in other Italian places at lower prices as well.

The ambience of the restaurant was good. The seating we got was amazing, quiet and we were able to have good conversation. From the starters to the main course to the dessert everything was very good. The service was really nice with manager helping us to understand the vegetarian dishes from the menu.

The best Italian restaurant in London, without doubt!!

The reception is beautiful .. and eating ugly .. fish and steak .. You can not eat it no matter how hungry you are .. Beware of Bakhshish (Akramip) Add it in the invoice without your permission .. Ask him to delete it forfeited .. And you underestimate the amount you see worth.

Nice Italian. Rather expensive but the food is realy perfect. I cannot place the region in Italy that inspires the kitchen. I think I should try it again.

Worth the money. I keep going back for the lobster linguine, which every time I have it, it is just as good. Good portions, not too big which I prefer. Service is fine dining standards, friendly and accommodating. Wines are fab.

A wonderful italian restaurant complete with 99% italian waitstaff- felt like we were in Italy with all the italian we heard spoken! Great dishes and service. For dessert they gave us extra and even packed us extra macaroons to take home! Anto our waiter was the best.

I am an Italian living in London and when I miss home I go to this restaurant with my husband. Very good service and excellent food.

Avoid this resturant. The value for money is so low. You have to order 3 or 4 main courses to feel that you eat a good meal! Beside that food quality is below average in comparison with other Italian restaurants in London.
