They seriously need to upgrade the seating, I was stuck in a seat next to big guy that spilled over on my seat. Nothing against the dude because looked very uncomfortable and embarrassed and kept apologizing. Hard to laugh out loud when you don't have much room to.

Pros: great food and drinks, reasonable price, clean place, good atmosphere, fantastic comedy shows.
Cons: poor service (waiters are too slow), uncomfortable chairs.
Would I come back here? Yeah, probably....

Great show at Yuk Yuk's and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Can't speak to the food (though it didn't look particularly good - saw some pizza come out that looked like it had been heated up in a microwave); but the service was good and the atmosphere fun.

I had the worst experience at this place last night.
The comedy content was good (very funny) but the service at this place was really bad!

We arrived at the show last night with a gift certificate (admission for two).

At the main door, there is a sign that stated, folks with tickets purchased through web can walk straight in. Once inside and being in line for 10 mins, we were told to go back up to box office to process our tickets as they can t accept gift certificate. So we did! we were one of the first ones in but now we were late because we had to go to box office, get tickets, and then get back in inline for 10 min wait for our turn.

The next experience I had was even worse. We were walked to our seats, which were without tables (it seemed like it was a new row created in between regular tables) when the waitress asked about what we wanted to order, I asked for a table because I simply can not order drinks & food and hold/eat it from my lap.
We were told that it s first come first serve and that she can t help me (even thou I saw tables at the back of the club that were still empty) and if the establishment acknowledged that we were actually one of the first ones to walk in (web order bs) then they should have kept a table for us.

I decided not to give this club my business anymore. It was my second time there. The first time was amazing, but they really made my Friday night go bad, especially when I came out of the town to enjoy the show.
The employees need more training and the signage at the door should reflect their updated policies. They should also ask guests if they will be eating so they can be given a table instead of a just a chair. Many tables had people not eating or drinking at all, and you just lost out on a sale.

Low-brow humor, uncomfortable tight seats like you're young back at school, overpriced snacks and beverages. I found it hard to laugh... maybe had a few chuckles and felt guilty for those. Tampon humor, yuck.

Went to Yuk Yuk's before COVID and never got around to reviewing the experience until now. Yuk Yuks as a comedy club is great, nice place and cool atmosphere, but the show we saw wasn't good at all.
So packed we were crammed in between other people and never managed to order a drink for the 2 hours we were there.

Make sure you don't see the show "Your Hood's a Joke" that happens about every month - simply because it isn't funny. They consistently (and I mean like 20 times) warn you that it could get very raunchy and to not take anything personally and then proceed to deliver the lamest "offensive" jokes (if you can call them that) that my girlfriend and I have ever heard. Also almost every comic was reading their own jokes that they wrote from a notebook or their phone on stage, which basically took away from the fun when after every other joke they're flipping through pages trying to find another one. The jokes and subjects were so specific that you'd have to know the Toronto streets or neighbourhoods sooooo well in order to fully understand any joke (or find it funny) - which made sense as to why the whole crowd was dead and only laughed for the opener of the show.

All in all the place is great to see comedy as a whole but I would fully suggest not wasting your money on Your Hoods A Joke, learned that lesson the hard way.

My date and I went to watch Dylan Mandelson on Saturday night. It was a full house. The seating arrangements were tight and the seats were hard so not too comfortable to sit on for one and a half hours. Show was great start to finish. The place became very hot after an hour. Server was very good at remembering our drinks and didn't rush us to pay for them. Everyone had a good time.

A usual at the Toronto Yuk Yuks, I took my best friend visiting from Virginia, to what was supposed to be good laughs, good times and rushing in from the heat of the streets, a nice refreshing drink to start; instead to a racially targeted mistreatment by one of your hostesses, a white-haired, senior woman, who served everyone else except us two. I beckoned to her and she looked at me, moved along and the served the person next to my friend, paid and got served his beverage, the three people next to my right got served and paid and the two of us sitting there dry-throated, parched coming in from the sweltering heat...this left us feeling embarrassed, disappointed and sad... didn't even enjoy the rest of the show.... couldn't tell what happened after that, as the slighted experience left us in utter awe. I approached her after the show, though we direly wanted to walk out right after the incident, but didn't want to be disrespectful to the act. I approached her after the show and said you didn't serve us, you saw us and you saw me beckoned to you as you looked at me, and you served everyone in our row, everyone was served and had something to drink inside there, except us, she said she didn't see and oh sorry lady.

Came on a Thursday and the lineup along with the head act killed it. Even with some hecklers they played through it. So good that an additional 30 mins of show continued past the original timeslot. Took my girl here for a date. Cant go wrong with a lot of laughters for a night out.

Amazing place to go with friends or on a date. Food and drinks are very affordable (good variety too). I've been on amateur nights and the acts are very hit or miss but that's what makes the experience great. Also shout out to the host for always being ridiculously funny.

I love it here. I prefer the special shows although they cost more. They're worth the expense. The food service isn't to my liking but I generally don't go there to eat/drink. The waitstaff is usually really busy so each order takes too long.

Enjoyed it, it was the very first time at this club but we knew it had a great reputation; this night was a bit of a challenge to get around downtown Toronto and finding close by parking, otherwise the show was great!

Very funny performers and always a good show. Could be priced a little more competitively. Some seats also do not have tables which is annoying. Overall though its a great night out to come here

Saw Eman Husseini, by the way, hilarious! I would love to see her again! And living in NYC, girl I feel for ya!
As much as I love comedy clubs, the service was poor and by faaaaaarrr under populated for a show. There were maybe twelve people. When I ordered my one and only beer I got during the whole two hour show, she was not very friendly. She snatched my card from my hands, which I m not very appreciative of either. I get she was older but being grouchy maybe not the venue to work in either. However, I watched the waitress serve people second and third times. Also, maybe get around the room a bit, don t neglect one side.

Always a great show and is guaranteed to make you laugh. Sweet potato fries are awesome as well. Only recommendation to others is to arrive early to get good seats. Often times a lot of the rows are taken by reservations, however if you arrive too early they do not let you in.

I haven't been to a yukyuk's in a really Long time- my home town is too small to support a club- and time passes (kids work etc) and you don't get out much....but, finally the stars align and with a night out we decided to go to a comedy club! It was really fun- good comedy, welcoming staff, efficient service and my cheeks ached from laughing by the time we left!! That also hasn't happened in a really long time.

I went here with a significant other for new year's and we had a blast. The comedians were all very good with one being a real tear jerker. Anyways the dinner they served was better than what I would expect from a comedy club and although the area inside leaves a bit to be desired it makes up for that in practically every other way with it's great atmosphere, food, and people. I would definitely go there again.

Being a comedy fan it was high time I came here. My first visit was for JFL ( just for laughs) ... this place houses a lot of visiting comedians from the world over which is a great concept.
Get here early as a line forms pretty quick and you cannot reserve seats. There are booths that one can avail of for a 20$ surcharge - they seemed comfy compared to the tiny chairs all stacked up next to each other with tiny tables.
This place was quite crowded for a Weekday night- paid 28$ all inclusive for 2 tickets so it was worth it.
Food and drink is not inexpensive- 36$ for a beer, a Long Island iced tea and an order of chicken tenders ( which were not salty and totally on spot). A rum and coke - 6:50. So yeah it s not a bar so don t come here for the drinks just for the laughs!!!

Comedy show - 5/5. Great value and line of comedians for a cheap price. Can't go wrong with a great 2+ hour show for under $10 (get the groupon)!

Service - 1/5. Our server, Sarah, was horrible. First of all, the drink didn't come correctly as I had asked for it. I asked 3 times throughout the whole night and she acknowledged me and said she'll get me my drink but never did and rather served other guests to make more tips. My advice for her: write things down if you can't remember and don't promise your guests something if you can't deliver.

Loved the comedians, didn't like being packed in like sardines...couldn't order food as no table and this was supposedly VIP reservations. Need to expand the premises, otherwise great performances!
