To be honest Youi has every year done right by us....

To be honest Youi has every year done right by us. On the odd occasion Youi have been contacted for a claim they did it flawlessly.

The only reason Im throwing done 4 stars and not 5 is that we have to have conversations every year to fight for a better deal (more of a conversation with whom feels like a mate really). Understand its a part of coverage these days. In saying that though everytime Ive called Youi for policey renewals Ive talked to a someone I'd only describe as genuine and doing their best. Never had a bad call and very pleased with the overall perforance of Youi.

Called Dustin @ Youi for a quote to renew our comprehensive insurance. The new Policy is half the cost of renewal with a very popular insurance company based in Queensland 4 ever!

Just atrocious, should be minus 5 stars. The horrible customer service is just the beginning. The operator asked me a truckload of personal data and info, including my full name, DOB, my address and other nitty gritty sensitive info, only for the operator to say they couldn t insure our home because our area was prone to flooding. Like she could ve said no at the beginning, but chooses to waste my time, so she seems as if she is doing a good job. I ve got other better things to do than repeat myself time after time. And all calls are recorded so she could do so many illegal things. The operators name is Ruby. If you happen to be talking to her, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. I REPEAT, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. She is a good for nothing scumbag who gets all this sensitive personal data and info, only to tell you they can t insure your property. WELL SHE COULD VE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I GAVE HER THE ADDRESS. And she makes such horrible and unreasonable excuses. Absolutely disgusting. I will never recommend Youi to anyone.

I have been with Youi since they started back in 2008. Since then I have had multiple policies as I moved around Australia. Recently I upgraded my car with a new policy but they didn't stop my old car policy. I ended up being charged for both and it was a while before I noticed. They not only listened and acknowledge the error but rectified it immediately. Now, we all know human and computer errors occur as part of life. It's how a company deals with these that sets them apart from the rest. Generally as a company grows they also lose that service you get from small businesses but they have been brilliant from the start and customer loyalty is something you can't buy

Minus 5 stars if available. Was with you guys a few years ago now. Claim to save you lots. More expensive than most quotes I got. Rang later to get it cancelled. It was dropped in price but still not enough. Rang later again to tell you to cancel got continual excuses not to leave. When I got angry you finally gave me a decent price but was too late. False advertising ads. Harassing customer service reps and managers. Wouldn't go with youi if you were the last insurance company in Australia!!!!

Cheapest car insurance I've ever had, haven't had a bad experience yet. Staff are great, some more than others do like a bit of small talk while filling out qoutes and information. But I for one don't have a problem with this. They're doing their job sitting in front of a screen all day quoting insurance, if I can help pass their day with a little chit chat while still getting what I want I see no harm, especially when these days it's so hard to get an English speaking call center.
My advice for people is don't enquire about a qoute if you've only got 5 minutes to do it. Use a bit of common sense and set aside a time to organize these things. Also try being a little more polite, might make the person on the other end of the phone WANT to help you.

Terrible quoting experience and the quoted price was atrocious. Instead of the usual online quote, I was forced to talk to the sales guy for 20 minutes before I was given a price on a comprehensive car insurance. I get it, Youi wants to be that cool hipster new age Insurance company, but all I wanted was a quick quote so I can compare for the best insurance offering. I don't want to make small talks, and I don't want to tell you everything about my financials other than the car I want insured.

I strongly don't recommend this company. Fill all information online and then they called me. During the information filling process, I was never informed about they will not give me a quote and call me. My experience was not positive.

Talked to Mitchell today and he was absolutely nice guy, answered all my queries with patience and understood my lifestyle and needs based on which he gave me best advices and help me choose the right policy. And not to forget to mention that I saved almost $700 annually comparing to my current insurer. Thanks again Mitch and Thanks Youi!!!.
