This is a bustling cafe in the heart of Castle Hill, next to Dan Murphys. The food choices were good, including for my vegetarian and vegan/gluten free daughters.

The ambience is lively, service prompt, amd food generous if a touch pricey.

The only downside are the rickety chairs amd table. It would be a squeeze for anyone in a wheelchair, but access is generally ok.

This place has very friendly staff and are all about the health of treats. Even making their own almond milk. Plenty of options for seating. I've only grabbed coffee from here in the past but look forward to trying a meal here one day

This place is sensational! Breakfast and lunch are divine. The lamb sandwich is a go to, so is the royal bowliness. Also always get pancakes. I mean just eat everything, then when you go to the end of your meal, it should be a law to have a piece of their gluten free caramel cake. We had this for my wife's baby shower and it was perfect!

the first time here i was very disappointed with the risotto bad texture and taste especially for the price and coffee was terrible, I thought i would try again so i went with a friend, service was terrible, no heater so waited ages for a blanket, our scrambled eggs were so salty and watery i couldn't eat one bite when i told them the guy just gave me a blank look and walked off, it tasted like a whole bottle of cheap chicken salt in it!, the juice had no ice was warm not refreshing, we shared a cake that was nice and left paying over $50 for one cake and drink each

I've been keen to try Bullet Proof coffee in Sydney for nearly a year now but haven't seen a cafe that serves them. My wife and I were at The Avenue a few doors down and stopped in for a coffee, only to find they serve Bullet Proof coffee. The staff were very friendly and they have a whole range of healthy food options. We'll be back here regularly from now on. Not the best picture, but that's my coffee ;-)

Try the lamb sandwich - it's like a tasty damn roast dinner made by a grandma in delicious sandwich form. The coffee is pretty good - but the fit out and the ambience is great. It's right next to the Dan Murphy's too. It does get quite busy so you might need to wait for a table. I really like it, a great place to meet up with friends for a chilled out afternoon and sit outside. The staff are super friendly and will talk to you - and they bake everything onsite.

This cafe breaks away from convention with a focus on more healthy food options with a lot of flavour. Coffee is great too. Not sure about the salted caramel cake as it's too rich, oily and intense (didn't agree at all - extremely unhealthy - except for the nuts and freeze dried fruits on top)

had lunch first time. I wont repeat this expensive mistake again. Ordered
SALMON POKE BOWL
LAMB SALAD BOWL
I cut into my salmon. It was like a brick!! So over cooked. I sent it back. Second effort of chef was better at cooking salmon. BUT my rice was drenched in bottled Japanese sauce!! It was like I was eating salmon and rice curry!! V. Disappointing experience. I asked which oil was in sauce. The waiter brought the bottled sauce which was topped over my salmon bowl!! YOUENI had craftily listed every ingredient listed on the bottle on their menu to mislead consumers as if sauce was fresh made!! Now I think everything came out of plastic bags and was heated and put in a ate except for protein. Complete lack of integrity and disrespect for customers.

Amazing to find a place of this quality in the Hills District (I grew up here, I'm allowed to say it). The chilli and roasted garlic scrambled eggs were as delicious as they sound, as were their pancakes.

Great food, great coffee, friendly staff, and the seating is really nice - indoor/outdoor/ and seating in a loft space. Plus they re open late which is a huge bonus in the area! It s great to have a coffee shop like Youeni in the Hills area. Has that city coffee feel. Plus it s close to Castle Towers and other shops, so it s in a great location. It s the type of place I keep returning to. They ve done a great job. If you haven t been, it s a must stop location. The whole menu is good.

My alternate spot to The Baron if I feel like something different! I find the food here a bit more imaginative. Table service would be nice although I think they changed their approach due to varying volumes of customers on weekends. Their coffee is palatable and they do nice filters too!

Ok this place is something else it's a standout. The food the customer service the cleaniness the design is brilliant. There coffee is so awesome I'd go back there everyday and anyday. The WiFi is fast and effective and allows you to get work done while enjoying a awesome menu. That caters for gluten free, sugar free lactose free and vegan and vegetarian peeps. Whoever started this birthday something awesome into the world. They should bring one to South Africa.

Good food, polite staff.

Wobbly chairs and tables

Both elevators not working, so not a good venue for

disabled people who would arrive in the carpark

and then have to leave , or if they entered from the

front, wouldn't be able to get down to the toilet as

the street incline is to steep via footpath. 0

Not happy about today s experience; My favourite is the classic bacon and egg breaky for $14.90.

I like the coleslaw with mustard sauce placed under the fried egg & bacon on the sourdough. I ve been having this over more than a year . It used to be fantastic earlier with good quality bacon crispy and a reasonable serving of coleslaw and a medium sourdough;

However gradually over the year I noticed quality decline and the portion size reduce. Today when I ordered this there was hardly any coleslaw. The egg yolk was broken and the size of the sourdough was the smallest I ve seen. There was also too much butter on the sourdough.
I was not happy with today s experience and think that the chef has replaced or the cafe is trying to squeeze out more profit . They need to improve their game to original standards .

Noisy! On the corner of a really busy main road and the industrial architecture just makes the noise worse. Coffee nice but wouldn't go back other than for takeaway. Certainly couldn't do catch up coffee with friends - wouldn't be able to hear each other. Sorry hipsters.

Looked great and hip. Only disappointment was some staff including the one who served me were not wearing masks correctly, which I thought would be of greatest importance when handling food. To me this shows a lack of care and consideration for the job and hygienic service of customers.

Over the years the quality of food hss been good but also unorthodox. This has resulted in some interesting dishes. The real downgrade in their rating is price. Their large sizes are, per mL only a regular at best yet its 4.40 for takeaway making them some of the more pricey in sydney. Given the competition in the hills area is growing and its no longer a two horse race in castle hill you can probably do better if youd prefer better value per dollar. If your coin is plentiful then ueni will be a reliable venue.

I was there yesterday at this foodstore and the risotto was sloppy, too salty and the rice didn't even seem to be cooked properly. It was disappointing in that there was so much hype to begin with about it.

Always great food at this place.
Their life bowl and bowl of toastiness (forgotten the name) are delicious. Made from fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly.
I've been here multiple times and always go back for a healthy feed.

Holy smokes, that lamb sandwich smelt and tasted like a lame-witch. Soz gals, but this meal needs to sashay away from the menu.
Literally the toughest piece of meat I've seen since Goldie Hawn's skin in "Snatched" - Dont know what that was? Let me tell you, it wasn't snatched.

Over priced?

Over priced?
Ordered the "life extending bowl" with a long black.
For sure it's life extending cause basically just grated raw veggies with minimal seasoning for $16, hardly two florets of broccoli/cauliflower, 1/4 of a carrot grated etc...just very bland and could put more thoughts in it really.

Whole foods cafe, offering healthy choices. We decided to have their buckwheat, macadamia pancakes today. What a treat! Pancakes and granola, drizzled with coconut milk, grapes, stewed blueberries, strawberries and a berry compote. I was so full, I couldn't move!!

Fabulous cake and coffee place. A bit more quantity of both will be nicer but it was satisfactory especially when looking for a great place for the first day of new year! Easy parking at Dan Murphy's in the rear.

One of the few places to get cold drip coffee in Castle Hill, and it's pretty good. They also sell a lot of coffee paraphernalia which is cool. Fresh food, cool layout besides being on a busy road.
