Best cafe I've found in the hills so far. Hipster vibe and menu make me feel at home and the filter coffee is spot on. Last time I was there they were brewing Small Batch beans, delish.

Great, everything amazing - food, ambience, staff...
First time here for a catch-up with a friend. I'd eaten but she had the muesli bowl. Other food looked great, I'll definitely be back. Busy mid morning so had to sit outside, small downside as it's on the main road.
These guys are passionate about healthy food, great coffee and amazing service. the best cafe easily in the hills area!
Delicious options catering for all needs (DF, GF, V) was super tasty
Poor customer service and average food teamed with overcrowded space.
The girl overcharged me for my meal. No apology was given and instead of attempting to correct her mistake, she justified it by saying she thought I wanted some other meal which cost a higher price (yet I think I couldn t have been clearer as to what I wanted). If the food was good quality and the service staff were nice I wouldn t have worried about it.
People next to us got the wrong meal.
Toilet was also super grubby, I ve used port-a-loos that we re more appealing than this toilet.
May have been an off day as it was super crowded but we weren t impressed on our visit.
The coffee is sublime! I only have had cappuccino but it's so good. I normally take sugar in mine, this one I don't because it would ruin the taste. Friendly staff and a nice place to have a talk with friends or colleagues. Big thumbs up!!
Absolutely fantastic place.
Food - healthy and well balanced
Staff - kind and accommodating
Place - clean
Friendly staff and great coffee. Will be back- thank you!
Nice quirky Cafe with good service, food and beverages. Have been there a few times and will go back again.
I liked it. More like Melbourne's style cafe. Love the Caramel cakes and it's sour twists.
Youeni is my go-to for quick coffee meetings and lazy Sunday brunches. Fantastic coffee, cool vibe and awesome customer service. Pancakes are a must!
Brought my mum here for a quick coffee, cappuccino and long black, both were amazing. Would definitely come again
Love this place. The coffee is excellent, the service is friendly and fast - always with a fresh smile. Most of what I tried tastes way too good to be healthy but they assure us it is. The Buckwheat pancakes are divine, the lamb sandwich is excellent and the bacon tastes straight from the farm! I can never leave without taking away one of their chocolate brownies, and you must try the chocolate smoothie - to die for!
Always a great experience. I get fresh, whole beans here often, and the customer service is wonderful and friendly.
Today went to this Youeni for a cupper coffee ,service was bad, unacceptable.
I would not go back there anymore and would not recommend friends to go there either.
I ordered a flat white, seated for five minute in front of the coffee machine and saw no staff making any coffee. What kind of service is this, how much longer a customer has to wait. I noticed to the BOSS by pointing my finger to the coffee machine, kind of let him know that customer are waiting.
In return, he said I am rude.
I wasn't happy at all. Running a businese in the Hills area is not easy as rental is high everywhere.
Good luck to your businese ..............
Best coffee in Castle Hill. Fabulous Vegan and gluten free menu
Found by accident.
Quite surprising to have an establishment of this quality in the hills district.
One can dine and pretend they're in the northern or eastern suburbs before stepping out to reality.
Great service, nice food.
Excellent coffee from friendly staff in a warm atmosphere. They even make their own delicious sourdough loaves, and I often pick up milk and a snack to go. The street front can be noisy if you sit outside and their furniture could use an upgrade. But their awesome menu choices help make up for those things. Try the brownies..
Great place to chill or grab some things to go, and be served by staff who clearly care about the business. This is exactly what you want from a local cafe!
Chris is excellent and caters to all tastes and styles with good healthy food
Coffee- 9
Food- 9
Cakes/Pastries- 9
Vibe- 9
Feel like this place has such a high attention to detail, which comes a cross in everything they do. If you feel like something dirty probably not the place for you but if you appreciate good food and coffee check it out.
This is the first time i did not enjoy my meal - hope Youeni are not loosing their touch because good cafes are hard to come by in Castle Hill. I ordered the long cooked shredded lamb sandwich. Instead i got three junky pieces of meat inside my sandwich - a bit too dry and tough. Not how i remembered it last time I ordered. Bring back the magic!! They are still doing a good job in the bakery.
Food good, lose the attitude.
We visited late Friday morning for a bacon & egg roll or equivalent.
Our enquiry was rebuffed. The waiter rolled his eyes "my friend, we don't do that. But we do do eggs on toast. And then you can add bacon".
"So can you put the bacon on the eggs and put the second piece of toast on top to make it sandwichy?" I asked helpfully.
The long whispy beard waggled in agitation "No, my friend" A second, longer loop-the-loop eye roll. "Thats just not the way we do it here..."
After making my own sandwich at the table, my mate wanted tomato sauce. "Good luck" I called after him. He came back empty handed. No tomato sauce, only oven roasted tomatoes as a side. For $4.
So sadly, this place has also succumbed to the trend lately in hipster run establishments to treat every customer request as a viking attack on their business model & the chefs artistic integrity.
Actually its none of that. We just wanted tomato sauce. From a cafe.
Overall the food was good. We had to make do with takeaway cups for our large coffees as the cupware only came in small. The table water was self service, tepid prefilled brown glass jars soaking up the Sydney spring heat.
Outdoor chairs were flimsy enough to be made for pixies.
2 stars
finally a place in sydney that doesnt burn my milk or under extract my coffee. The staff are also pleasant.
Ordered the Poke Bowl today and man oh Man...this is my new spot
Def hit the spot!!!
AMAZING!!!!
Really enjoyed the food, yummy and healthy so you can't lose. Chai tea was average though unfortunately
1. Flaxseeds are not ground, omega 3 cannot be absorbed
2. Fairy-sized potions for high price
Super friendly staff. This is the biggest thing going for them. Food was good and fresh.
Finally big breakfast! Salmon poke bowl was excellent
Sat in the balcony area - very warm - probably because of the baking ovens. Very cramped and had to carry our pram upstairs - I got help carrying it though.
Great coffee, Awesome food, Friendly Staff, Nice aesthetic
Small menu, high prices and cheap portions. The only cafe i've been to that doesn't have a bathroom as well? Keeping it cost effective..
Great coffee, vegetarian, organic and gluten free options. Chris and his team are always friendly and their food is healthy, wholesome and tasty. Parking available downstairs
Allergy friendly cafe with a nice vibe and good food.
Amazing fresh organic food and great coffee. Definitely coming back!!
fantastic organic gluten free food and great coffee, the cakes are made in the cafe and are the best gf cakes I have ever eaten. This is my fav cafe in the Hills
Menu is a little hardcore. Tonnes of faux healthy options
Ordered the chorizo, portobello and garlic chilli scrambled eggs on sourdough via Uber Eats. Also got the signature choc brownie . And also the salmon & avo stack on another occasion. All were absolutely delish! and filling
Kudos to the chef!
Well packed in sustainable cardboard and paper, minimal plastic. Preparation and delivery very prompt. Big plus
I have never been disappointed here. The staff are always friendly, the food is delicious and the coffee can't be faulted. One of my favourites without a doubt.
Really nice staff and amazing food!! One of the best smashed avo s in the whole of Sydney, and they do an amazing iced chai, definitely the best place for brekkie in the Hills!
Great healthy delicious organic food !!! Friendly staff . Will be coming back again .
Great ambience, friendly staff , great food and coffee
Super friendly staff and great coffee, the sweet treats are amazing and the food is interesting (in a good way)
Food is great - clean and nutritious dishes, coffee is perfect. Can be a bit squeezy when busy.
I'd give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the ambiance and pricing. Other than that this place serves amazing brunch and food. The servers are really nice and the atmosphere is not too bad. The food actually knocks it all out of the park. I will say it is slightly expensive for the area. Salmon Poke bowl was brilliant. Protein pancakes were nice but too dry n a little bland. Coffee is pretty good.
The food here is great but I don't think it's fair that customers have to pay a 10% surcharge on Sundays.
Great vegan and dairy free options. Staff very friendly. Be nice if they had lactose free milk for coffee (in addition to almond/soy milk).
Amazing food, place is very welcoming, salted caramel cake is the best. Wish the portion was slightly bigger on breakfast.
Good food, guilt free and the owner put his heart and soul into the menu
Unique selections and best brunch you could ask in Castle Hill
Good coffee at last, forgot my order then you have to convince them that you haven t had it. Poached eggs over cooked. (Guess you have to ask for them runny).
Very slow service. Coffee was great but the food was average.
Always tasty, healthy food. Could do with some more table space, seems a bit cramped
Pretty good place, even have vegan pancakes, though price is a bit higher than expected for it. I would expect more sugar in pancakes base. Home made almond-macadamia milk is quite bitter. Atmosphere is really good despite of not enough personal space for visitors.
Love this place and all the healthy food options. Great coffee too.
This place is incredible! Staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, very personable. Menu is outstanding. Coffee delicious. I will be coming back over and over again! The menu is very allergy friendly and staff are knowledgeable, and so so helpful!
Visited a few weeks ago, and found it a cute cafe with healthy options. I enjoyed the chai latte that I got and the friendly service. There s also 2hr free parking behind the building which was a bonus as well. Would be happy to visit again!
These guys were my local till I moved away. Food is always fresh and they have cold drip coffee. The store has a health conscious focus however I do miss their salted caramel tarts.
Food is average and location is not good. Right by a major intersection.
Wanted something a bit different to the usual burger or sandwitch, but still something healthy and gluten free and dairy free. This place was just the place. I ordered the pancake with berries and an avo smash on gf bread for my toddler. Both dishes were super delicious! The chai and pancake had a Mediterranean vibe to it.
The only downside was that if you are a mum with a toddler, finding a spot where you're not in the way, might be a bit of a challenge. Other than that, would come again and recommend to others
I think Youeni is overrated. A lot of the food on the menu is often unavailable and the coffee is mediocre. Service is of a normal standard and unremarkable. There seems to be a lot of flies and is also quite loud for a cafe as it is located on the corner of two main roads. The seating is also quite poor with uncomfortable chairs. There are a lot of better cafes in castle hill which would be better such as The baron which I would prefer.
These guys totally reinvent the menu to deliver totally delicious healthy and naturally gluten free and vegan foods (there are non GF and V foods too) that aren't your regular "ok, here's a replacement GF bread that tastes like cardboard and costs $2 more" but are actually amazingly yum. It's my favourite cafe.
You can tell straight away it's a Cafe full of healthy food. Had friendly staff serve us, we ordered the salmon avo on sourdough with dukkah and chimichurri, and little pickles! Very refreshing flavours that make you feel light after eating a whole meal. Decently priced, would go back
Amazing extensive breakfast menu. Love the lamb and also the brisket options. The big breakfast was also a hit.
The coffee was good. The vibe was mod-rustic (wood and steel with subway tiles and plants) with a dash of hipster. it's on a busy corner so a tad noisy but worth it considering the Dan Murphy's parking that is a distance from Castle towers proper.
One of our favourite breakfast places in the hills area. Coffee is fantastic and the food devine. They specialise in vegan/vegetarian food but do have bacon as an optional side. Parking is available at Dan Murphy's so very easy to dine and dash if required.
You will love this if you are trying to eat healthy AND still want to have brunch like a normal human.
The owner is very thoughtful in his menu design to cater vegan, keto, GF and/or DF diet. Bullet proof coffee available (specially made in a blend so it's creamy like a cappuccino), and keto loaf bread for 2.5g carb per slice. Beautiful homemade desserts (just not keto dessert).
Location right next to a Dan Murphy (with two hours free carpark).
The menu is amazing! Especially for a GF Vegetarian i had the roast veg salad bowl and added a poached egg my partner eggs on toast with fresh avocado and i asked for an extra slice of toast for our 9 month old to much on when arrived we did not receive the extra slice of toast asked about it but the lady didn't come back upstairs the veg bowl looked amazing and tasted great wish it was a little bigger i went down to ask about the toast eventually they came up with a slice as we were finishing but needed to pay can you believe 1 small slice was $3.90!
Quality and Freshness in every meal...oh to top it off the Coffee is out of this world.
Dominates the vibes, 10/10, and, love the different approach to food. Cleanest you'll ever feel after eating a meal. Coffee's great as well!
My recommendation is the Muesli Biscuit and macchiato first thing in the morning.
Delicious food, great chai and overall a nice place for brunch. The menu changes according to the local produce acquired for the day so everything is fresh. Must try the lamb sambo (if they have it) and the oozy, gooey, salted caramel choc tart.
Youeni is the only local i frequently visit. Youeni has a strong focus on health and wholefood and use quality ingredients in their dishes. My favourite meal is the life extending bowl a treat full of goodness. Its a salad with a mix between cooked and raw ingredients. All desserts are refined sugar free and they also make almond milk lattes and coconut milk hot chocolates. The house bread is gluten free buckwheat delight. Youeni also has a good selection of treats which are all baked instore. My picks are the brownie, date bread or the apple muffin.
This place is my favourite restaurant to eat!! Their food is always soul warming and the service is above and beyond any other restaurant I have been to!! Friendly and genuine. For someone with food allergies/intolerances I know it is a safe and healthy place for me to eat. 5 stars is an understatement.
Menu is well thought out and offers something different especially for the health conscious. High quality of food every time and the coffee is always on point.
The staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome.
Chairs could be comfier but that never deters me from going for a visit.
My favorite cafe to go too without a doubt.
Keep up the good work guys :)
Very tiny place just on the road! Looks bigger n fancier in photos but unfortunately not that amazing as it looks in pics! Also not at all kids/pram friendly. The portion size of dishes are too small for its cost, also there are hardly any breakfast item with egg on the menu! I would say there are much better places for brunch other than this. Try somewhere else!
Nice place for breakfast & one of the few places open on Easter Sunday. Friendly staff & generous portions. The pancake was a little too sweet by the time I got to the end, but still delicious.
Fabulous cake and coffee place. A bit more quantity of both will be nicer but it was satisfactory especially when looking for a great place for the first day of new year!
Decent coffee, LOUD music makes conversation a chore, the floor is always dirty, staff are unkempt and don't tie back hair or where hats. For the price, you don't get good portions or relaxing atmosphere.
Lots of heathy options and quite big selection of vegan food. Nice staff. Coffee is good.
