Youchange Holdings Corp (YCNG) Review

Terrible after care customer service. I bought a hot water tank and have it installed by YCNGA. Now there is a leak in the connection and I have been calling to have it fixed, after a month I went to the office and spoke with the contact person more than a week ago, as at the time of writing this review am still waiting. I even recorded the leak and point of leak and sent to their warranty department, still no response despite promises to get the contractor to come back out to fix it.

I had an excellent experience with the ladies at the York County gas department. They were so nice and so very helpful. I definitely give them five stars!

Try getting an in-ground grill installed. You will be as frustrated as I am. Since September (it s now late November) I have been going through issue after issue. First, the sales person was sick. That was 2 weeks. Who is running this company? Then I couldn t get the grill I wanted and had to take a better one with a burner I didn t want. Who is running this company? Then came the inspection. The inspector was filling in for someone else. He took some pictures that no one now seems to have now then said I would have to dig the gas line trench myself. What??? Who is running this company? Finally I got a contract and paid half up front on November 7. As of yesterday no word at all. Then finally I heard two things today. First, the stem had to be ordered. What? You all didn t do that yet? Oh and as of today, November 27, no city permits have been obtained. Again I ask: Who is running this company? Note that I paid for the permits upfront. What? Who is running this company. Now I m told it will be December 20 for my in ground gas grill install. And don t forget to dig that trench. Where? How deep? In the frozen ground? You guessed it: Who is running this company? I have cancelled the work and asked for my deposit back Stay tuned for that saga. Do yourself a favor and don t try to purchase or install anything from these bozos.

I think its sad that you have to pay an additional $125 along with your deposit for them to come out the day of after paying to turn on your gas..... For working people like myself I don't get off til 3:30 and here they are telling me I have to wait til Monday so this whole weekend will be a cool one for me. No consideration at....... And to top it all off that $125 goes now where not towards your bill or nothing just in the air better yet someone pockets who just has that to just give to them for nothing to come flip a switch #SAD

York county natural gas was okay with me until i came across the application receipt of when my daughter went and had our gas turned back on. My daughter is 18 yrs old but looks 12 so when i looked at the receipt where the application notes was well YCNG basically said that i was making my daughter put the bill in her name and that my daughter looks like a child. Also the csr in the office says she felt it was a scam and that something was going on with this situation. Wow!!! Really? Oh so YCNG is being judgemental on looks now??? All we wanted was to get our gas back on so we can have hot water!!! I was very appalled by this and if i had big time lottery money i would buy this place out (family owned or not) and start my own gas business!

I have lived in York county for 16 years and own multiple homes in York and have always oaid ALL my bills on time except for this year when i have lost most of my business due to this covid 19. I had to cut back where i could while our home was on market in ft mill. So i had gas turned off. Did not realize it needed to be on for inspection. So they are charging me 50$ to turn my gas back on for 24 hours to complete inspection... RIDICULOUS!!

I've called several times to have a gate on clearing on our property keeping drunks from leaving beer cans etc on our land. I don't want my kid's in Danger. So last yr while working Gas ppl came out saw the opening on our land which goes across both sides. Guess, being wife & we don't use gas they don't care. I want this up immediately I expressed my concerns to a Gas employee checking on neighbor's gate with Fence. Told me call & then they'd come back personally to do!! So, my review on CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, BUT THE 2 TECHNICIANS WHO DIRECTED ME WHAT 2 DO WERE AWESOME. MAYBE PPL IN STUFFY OFFICE COULD LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT FROM MEN OUT DOING THE WORK. IT'S TRULY A PROBLEM WITH 3 OF 4 KIDS 8&under.

I don't have an opinion. I don't use gas. I took my Aunt to pay her bill.

Biggest pain in the rear to deal with. Won't provide advanced scheduling for visits and refuses with couples unless your married. I have never heard of any business not working with the secondary name on the account when not married. For couples who coexist but have not yet gotten married, this company is the biggest pain in #@$ to deal with.

I have been trying to SCHEDULE service to install a a gas line for our new gas range for a week now. Twice now I have been told we'll check and call you back. Neither call has been returned. I continue to call and get the same run around every time. YCNGA has you over a barrel too because even if you have a private company do the work YCNGA still has to inspect the work. I thought monopolies were illegal! No customer service incentive for YCNGA...DISGRACEFUL!

This place is a RIP OFF how do you charge someone $75 for coming to their home THATS IT!! Just coming to their home. Not turning the gas off or anything! JUST COMING 5 minutes around the corner costed me $75!! HOW? WHY? You guys are SICK! His world is so greedy man

From the start to finish A+ Randy at YCNGA got me a quick quote for running 2 gas lines for range/grill and I got a great price on new natural gas grill. Scheduled install less than a week later and their team knocked it out quickly and efficiently. Couldnt be happier. Thanks again YCNGA!

They have people working here that SHOULD BE FIRED ON THE SPOT!!!! I paid my $800.00 bill in the beginning of JANUARY. Then received a letter at the END of Jan telling me that they seized my taxes...for non payment. It is now the END of FEB and I've yet to see the money that they STOLE from me.
STEALING- taking something that DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU.
Now I'm left here waiting for YORK COUNTY NATURAL GAS to give me MY money back. They didn't wait to take what DID NOT BELONG to them but I HAVE TO WAIT for what belongs to ME. I was also told I would be contacted last friday. I did not get that call and now I'm stuck here with NO ANSWER to WHEN I'm getting MY money. I know south Carolina needs money but this is as CROOKED AS THEY COME.

Most of the staff are really rude, poor customer service and overall bad attitude! Only the older staff are knowledgeable and friendly!

Great comeback from a major customer relations problem. Computer error caused me to be billed multiple times for the same bill. They recognized the problem, fixed the issue and apologized in writing and provided a bill credit of $75.00 for being inconvenienced, all without being asked. That's great initiative and outstanding customer service.

This gas company is fantastic. We have been a customer of them for 10 years and they always respond very fast if there is a problem at one of our houses. You have to be insane not to have everything possible in your house on natural gas. Water heater, gas grill, furnace, gas clothes dryer, gas oven and cooking top range, gas logs. My bill for 2 people is $25 per month all year until winter then it jumps to about $120 because of heating a 2466 house. Thank you York natural gas.
