Incredible views. Parking was a challenge. Staff at store rude. Overall a must see and worth the wait.

A very good place to watch Half Dome and views around Yosemite park.

Stunning views! We took a bus from Yosemite Valley floor up to the top of Glacier Point and then did the 4-mile-trail down. Way better than doing roundtrip :P

We also came back at midnight for some star photos..a ringtail stole my thermos cap!! Highly recommended.

Hiked to glacier point since road was closed during winter when I visited. Superb views from atop. Worth hiking entire day :)

The drive is worth the time and we had no issues parking on a weekend in October. Amazing panoramic views of Yosemite. Super short hike to the valley overlook. Dun facts scatters along the trails. Bathroom were available although the store was closed for the season.

Beautiful. Long drive from South entrance but well worth it. Park here early and enjoy several hikes from this location. The views make the whole day worth it.

Highest point to reach taking winding roads. One can see the entire park from here including the special trails ,falls etc

Come at sunset. Colors are changing almost every minute.

Way too packed with people. Beautiful view, but too many people. And Rangers who don't say a word about people climbing the fences and getting way to close to the cliff edges.

Who would have thought something so beautiful in America is hidden away want to visit and put on the bucket list

In the summer it can only be reached by shuttles.

Glacier point was absolutely breathtaking. Its different points allow for varied perspectives of the park. We visited in June and the waterfalls were still flowing impressively, but do not expect the same later in the summer. If you get nervous around heights, I would advise not getting to close to the edge at glacier point itself as there is a view that is 3000 feet straight down, making the cars and tents below tiny.

Yosemite national park, Glacier point did not disappoint. We drove through the entire Yosemite park and this was by far our favorite spot. My kids almost Peed their pants looking over the edge. It is straight down for about a mile. It is a safe area for kids to run around a little With some fabulous views for the adults.

Excellent views of the half dome and other mountain peaks and stunning waterfalls overlooks from the distance .

A terrific viewpoint for those who can't walk all the way up and would like to drive

Absolutely amazing! Along with Valley View, Glacier Point is the most beautiful spot in Yosemite. The view is breathtaking and it's great fun to check out all of the peaks and other points of interest in the distance.

Worth every mile to get to! The views are truly spectacular with many of the most iconic Yosemite wonders within view finder range.

Great views, windy back country roads could be wider. I was very nervous when my boyfriend drove up and equally nervous driving down.

A must for photographers. A bit too many tourists who don't care about the environment and others who want to enjoy it effectively

You can take a bus from Yosemite Lodge here and then make a down hike via 4-mile trail

Do I really need to add a comment for this place!! This place is heaven if you go early in the morning and breathtaking in every possible angle. You must see this if you are in California

Very nice view over the whole valley. Unfortunately not signposted very well. The entrance to the mountain is missed quickly. The drive from the valley takes about 45 minutes to an hour by car. Nevertheless, you should take the view from Glacier Point, if you are there.

Always the highlight of our visit. Oct. with very little traffic or people. No water on the upper Yosemite falls with just a trickle at the Vernal, Bridalveil and Nevada falls.
Weather was cool, fresh and the sky was so blue.
We also stopped at the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Complete makeover of the grove. Beautiful walking path up to the Grizzly Giant. We'll done.
My advice as always
Go early and during the week to avoid crowd and limited parking.

There's just absolutely no words to describe the beauty of nature.

Definitely worth a visit! But I would prefer to go in the afternoon, because I see a lot of photographers there in the evening. That's pretty annoying when they block everything.

Traffic and parking here are HORRENDOUS in the am, lunchtime, and even a little around sunset. I came around 1 pm on a Sunday, and spent well over half an hour stuck in line waiting for parking, with dozens of cars in front and behind me. If you want to come during peak hours, either anticipate a very long wait for parking, or park somewhere else and walk down.

Best place to watch the sunset at half dome if you aren't able to hike up to Taft Point or Sentinel Dome (where you can get a 360 view of the entire valley).

Very scenic and beautiful place. Half dome, beautiful falls, snow glad mountains, make excellent viewing from the glacier point. The drive to the place is very scenic. On the way there are three points to stop.

Incredible view with a big drive up the mountain, on some parts of the road there are steep drops alongside the road without barriers, know your driving ability before attempting.

Amazing views of half dome from this point, as well as the falls! It does get busy which makes it a little tough to take pictures without having someone in them, but it's definitely worth checking out since it doesn't take any hiking.

Great views and you can learn some interesting historical data from the signs. This is also a great place to visit because it helps you understand the landscape so you can better orient yourself down in the valley.

Absolutely beautiful at sunset the colors are sublime on the valley (not the Armorican Valley ) and half dome. In the evening you can even see the shooting stars and the Milky Way if you stay long enough.

The climb is long but rewarding! The view of the Half Dome is incredible. It looks like you can handle it with your hands ...

Go at Sunset. It's an easy hike with breathtaking fews of the valley. The ranger talk was interesting, too. All I ever wanted to know about subduction, I learned!
