Crazybeautiful, like locobonita. So glad I tricked on around up there because I had not really been looking at my map, and I was just hosing around, but I saw the road and the sign, and I was like got to go check this out. This is the best view of the whole show right here, make me want to go crazy talking.

You cannot take a bad picture up here, this spot will blow you away. If you're in Yosemite stopping here is a must, even if it sends you in the opposite direction. Incredible views of the Valley and Half Dome

This is an amazing spot which gives you a serene view of the Yosemite valley. I would strongly recommend hiking to this by the four mile trail (which is actually close to 5 miles each way).. Just hiking up to this point, you get to see the Yosemite falls and the entire valley, and then at the top you get views of the half dome and beyond.

Highly highly recommend! It is one of the best locations to enjoy the half dome like it is just can be touched. It is great for the sunsets. There plenty of parking spaces, but due to it is very popularity, it is still to find the parking space for most of the time during the hot seasons. It is a quite long drive from the valley. Prepare some clothing when you go there. By the time of sunset, it may be cold.

Glacier Point offers a breathtaking view of the half dome and part of Yosemite Valley. Easily accessible by car or bus (free) if the parking lot is full, it is not the ubiquity of tourists in high season that will prevent you from taking magnificent photos! Unmissable in Yosemite! Note that the place has public toilets as well as a store offering food and souvenirs!

Best spot to watch the sunset in Yosemite! Great stargazing afterwards. Hike up via the Four Mile Trail or just drive!

Drive up or even better, hike up, Glacier Point is so worth the effort. Sunset and sunrise are extra epic but really any time of day works.

In summer, you ll find the snack bar and gift shop open which are super handy since the nearest anything is a good 45 minutes away but hours are limited so pack snacks too.

Lots of trails around the point for a different view as well whether you want to head up a bit to sentinel dome or down to the valley via four mile.

Given the view, the place gets awfully crowded but in winter (hike in required), it s pretty much all yours. Late evening and early morning visits help too.

The only thing that shadows this marvelous view point is the crowds. But that is what you get for having the beautiful lookout be also very easily accessible.

One of the best places to be. You can get the closest view of Half Dome and other tall peaks. Couple of small walks u can quickly take with kids. A must visit. Heard they might close Glacier Point for next two seasons

There are great view from here down into the valley. You can see the river, Half Dome, El Capitan, but there is a lot of people here. The road down is also windy and has very sharp turns. The view might be worth it though. (Also, good luck with parking!)

Great view of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome! There is a little store that you can buy souvenirs, food and drinks. I think that this is a great place just be careful that you don't fall off the edge. (I should be saying that about Taft Point.)

Wow! We timed our visit just right....we got to see half dome at sunset! Amazing how much half dome changes under various light conditions and colors!

Probably the best view to be had in Yosemite that your can reach by car. Higher up than the top of Yosemite Falls, with a great panorama of the Valley and Half Dome.

Downsides - can get very crowded, and parking will run out during peak hours. Also, it's not really convenient to drive to, being at the far end of a fifteen mile or so dead end road.

Upsides - several bathrooms and a little store.

One of the best views in the nation. Great place for photos.

It's an awesome place for nature lovers. This place is one of the best in Yosemite. Size of Half dome can be well realized from here. Could not explain in words about how we felt the overall view from here. All we can say is, it's like heaven on earth. We went on summer but we suggest you to go in spring season. If you go in spring, then you can enjoy the snow but one may have to face the difficulty in parking. Undergoing the difficulty is worth it. One must definitely take a DSLR camera for sure since the view will be combination of some hills with snow, some with out snow, water falls, forest and half dome. It's a must visit place in California.

Excellent views of Yosemite Valley, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls, Half Dome, and Little Yosemite Valley. Hazy due to the wild fires north of the Valley in August, 2020.

Really nice place but extremely crowded. O. Sunday there are traffic jams.

This is a fantastic place to view the whole Yosemite, it worths the drive!

Amazing views. We were spoiled by going while passes were limited.

Glacier point is one of my favorite locations in the park. I always recommend it to my friends. It offers great view to the iconic half dome and valley floor. If you are a early bird, this is also a good place for sunrise. This place is also a good location for stargazing at night. This is also the location where you can view all three major waterfalls together. ( except bridalveil fall).

Probably the nicest viewpoint in this area. There is a gift shop where you can eat something and, of course, a pile of bears ;-) The place is often visited but also spacious, so there are no problems with parking, etc. However, be aware that the road is often closed due to icing.

Beautiful!!!! An about 50 minutes drive but are worth the while.

The most beautiful national park in the USA. There is no way around Glacier Point. It can even be reached by car. Great view of the Yosemite Vallee and the many breathtaking waterfalls. And at the right time of year you can see snow in the valley despite the heat. Hiking here is also great fun
