Very interesting place. I recommend to come and see it

Well the church is already gigantic but in contrast to the city itself certainly not the Hauptatraktion.Mit one of my opinion, the most beautiful cities with many sights and beautiful city walls various localities ...

A historic place that you should definitely visit. The size of it , its just magestic. There are so many hidden details in the interior design which you should definitily need to know about them, so i would suggest to follow a tour guide. The price is kind of steep but ok.

Simply incredible. A magnificent cathedral, such an imposing work that stood the test of time.

Second largest cathedral in northern Europe, typical English Gothic ... it has a heart-shaped stained glass window.

Beautiful building inside and out well worth a look lots to see the stain glass windows are a work of art wonderful place .

Organ under restoration various areas taped off. No warning on enterance somewhat not worth the enterance fee. Sorry.

The only thing you can say about the Minster is that it is absolutely stunning and must be seen if you are visiting York.
If you do visit you must take a guided tour . The tour guides are excellent and extremely knowledgeable about the building and its history.

Good walk round seen roof. Windows optional crypt.tower. and tours.also shop.

Visited mainly to see the undercroft, but the overall experience was first rate. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Visited previously about 30 years ago so it was lovely to wander around again.. very geared up to cope with the Covid rules

I am fiercely atheist but from the first steps in this cathedral, I felt a lot of powerful and intangible. It's so impressive, I had never felt this feeling in Amiens, Salamanca, even Notre-Dame ... The game of natural lights, stained glass, the height of the ceilings combine to spread a joy, an inspiration that stay in me 6 months later. Knowing that its roof was demolished by a fire in 1985, I was happy to learn that the English craftsmen had offered their services for the reconstruction of Notre-Dame.

Stunning building with lots of history. Prices to view the inside are quite expensive if visiting with a family especially when compared to other similar sites.

The trip through the foundation's is really cool!! The view from the top is wonderful as well. Enjoy the stairs...

Outrageous having ticket booths to get in and a prohibitive amount of money for some people. Donations would be better to preserve some vestige of a prayerful atmosphere in a house of worship.

Didnt go inside as was just visiting York itself. It's a sight to behold and a marvel of engineering.

This is One of the Best places in England. You have to be in York. This is real England from its best.

Next time you go to York.. Visit the minster.. Fantastic history, you can also have a tour guide..

Visited York Minster last October!! Such a stunningly beautiful cathedral!! Loved the stained glass windows and the architecture!! The gift shop is very well stocked too,and the staff, including general, were very helpful and welcoming!! All in all, an AMAZING experience!! Will definitely make a return visit when next in York!!

This minster is without a doubt the greatest one in the known iuniverse,bar none. It's a must see in your life time. I used to think Bath Cathedral,was my favourite,and it's beautiful,but once you see York. Honestly it's stunning,and they have a boy's choir, with voices of angels. Stain glass windows which are astounding. Don't take my word for it,go and find out for yourself,you will not be disappointed

Definitely recommend a visit. Take the guided tour to better appreciate the minster, discover hidden gems and interesting stories behind the architectural marvel. Can easily spend few hours.

Cost too much to get in be OK if everything was included

A pearl with a unique atmosphere. The old town can be walked around the old walls
