My friend Ajani really values and enjoys this school! It was a great fit for him and he really fits in and has made some friends. He loves his trips to the movies and enjoys being on the basketball team. Academics are a little bit challenging he said and would prefer if he had homework on the weekends instead of just playing video games all day

I was in this school for my whole middle school year the teachers were nice and supporting and some were kind of mean don t get me wrong but I still respected them the counselors were nice but didn t really have much time to settle drama and I recommend that the counselors highly take it seriously and help settle drama that whenever goes so people could feel safe going to the school. Other then that it s a decent school but not as good as my new school

This school really "gets" kids. The academics are strong and student's are valued! They have hope when other schools give up. They see the gifts and strengths and use them to help kids achieve great things

After 2 years of struggling in the public school environment, my son was at Chapel Hill from 6th to 8th grade. I can't say enough great things about the support he received and the amazing growth he got by being in such a healthy positive nurturing environment. After 8th grade he felt ready to try a new challenge and is now transitioned in a rigorously academic school. Although I was nervous about the transition for him to a mainstream environment, he has risen to the occasion and is adjusting well. I truly believe Chapel Hill had given him a great foundation during his middle school years. Thanks to Loretta, Diane and all the staff at Chapel Hill!

Counselors are not the best with dealing with behavioral issues. I don't think they're trained to help those with depression. Working environment is comfortable. Teachers are nice. More professional counselors are needed.
