Moved back to Orlando recently. Went to YDE today, for the first time in years. Love the gold BBQ sauce and had some amazing sweet potato tacos! I am plant based and was so thrilled to have such a delicious meal. Mom loved the ribs, fell right of the bone, so delish!!

Been here a few times, enjoy the food here, never disappoints. Service is quick, lunch is always slower, get your food super quick. If you come for dinner, the line most likely will be outside. Rule of thumb: if the place is always busy, they re doing something right. See ya soon YDE.

The atmosphere is really cool. Big outdoor eating area. My children loved playing in the old VW van. I had the Blue Suede Shoes sandwich. The pork was really good with the blue cheese. The music was a little loud which made it not great to have a conversation. We had a fun time.

This was a true experience! Local friend introduced me to this place and was not even going to review it because I want to keep it to myself! Highly recommended! BBQ/food is 5star and may be the best BBQ in the Orlando area. Service was great and could ve been bad service because the place was packed! Great craft beer selection with all the domestics available! Best beer cheese soup/dip ON THE PLANET! Get the Elvis BBQ sandwich as your first experience ...or the Fire Pig Wrap! Drive around back to park and get there early!

Amazing food. Our server Shannon and the rest of the staff were very friendly. Dining is only open in covered tent area but it's comfortable. Tables were set apart for social distancing. Definitely worth the trip and will come again.

You have to try this place! Hidden little gem in Windermere. Had a great variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The bakery looked delicious, but I did not try a nb y of the sweets. The service was great, even though it was extremely busy. Tons of seating in the back. Will definitely be back soon

OMG. This place is amazing. Found it by chance on Google Recommendations and had to try it out. Pulled pork wrap with kettle chips was amazing. The nachos looked fab and the team were attentive and happy to make recommendations on food.

I ordered the salmon BLT with no bacon to go. The wrap it came in said no bacon, I ate half of the sandwich to come and realize it had bacon. I wouldn t have cared if I weren t a pescatarian for over 5 years. Truly disappointed.

The one thing I love best about this establishment is the atmosphere. It is located in a historic building, and you can eat either upstairs or outside. Some of the best gourmet sandwiches I've ever had in the Orlando metropolitan area, hands down.

Incredible food in an unassuming part of town! Down a few old Florida roads and across from the old Town church sits some of the best BBQ you can find in the tri-county area. Few places really accomplish great BBQ and great atmosphere: Yellow Dog Eats does, and then some! With cozy seating on the patio or up stairs, BBQ that melts in your mouth, sauces that outshine the nearby fireworks and am amazing selection of drinks: this eatery really has it all. Eaters beware: like all good BBQ joints, they only make so much food for a day. Call ahead!

Love this hidden gem. It's actually a house turned into a restaurant! Great menu, bar atmosphere with a fun outdoor seating area. You can even sit inside a old converted VW van, how awesome is that?

I always love eating at the Yellow Dog. Funky, fun with live music. My party had Vegans, gluten free folks, and lactose intolerant people. All we're accommodated. I personally love the fantastic pulled pork.

Never did I expect you find such a unique place as yellow dog eats in Gotha, FL. The food was amazing and the environment created such an awesome atmosphere. I really recommend coming to this place and enjoy some delicious food. I had the Florida Cracker sandwich and thought it was one of the most amazing pulled pork sandwiches that I ever had. Hope you enjoy it as well.

I've been going to the Yellow dog for years now. My oldest worked there about 16yrs ago and I was hooked. Eating there or caring out it's well worth the money and experience. Pulled pork sandwiches and the delicious choices in cheese will make you want to come back for more.

I ve been coming here for years and the food is top notch and very unique with decent prices. The desserts are all great too, and they constantly post daily creations on Facebook that you normally wouldn t find on the menu. They normally have live entertainment in the back with great ambiance and a bar. I highly recommend and have brought many friends to experience this unique gem.

Great atmosphere, great service. Owner interaction with all patrons. Plenty of food options. Beer and wine offerings. Very good pulled pork options, occasional brisket special. Out of the way to get there, but totally worth it...recommended and will go back!

Very unique and friendly dining location. They allow friendly pets to dine with you at the patio area and the food was very good, monstrous plates stacked high with additional toppings and stuff like that it was a really great experience

Food is great. The atmosphere is really awesome. The only thing that makes it a 4 and not a 5 is that for first time people it is a little confusing to know how the ordering works, and who is actually staff or customer.

Super good. Quick serve gourmet food with a bar. Seating is inside upstairs or out back on a covered patio that is pet friendly. There is a resident kitty that patiently waits for scraps or snuggles. The sandwiches all look great. There are a variety of entrees for both vegetarian and omnivores. We had the Jolly Green Giant, Fido's Feast, Orzo Salad and Hummus. Everything was delicious. I don't think anything on the menu would be a bad choice, it's that good. That atmosphere is also cute and funky. Definitely a must visit.

I had the half rack of ribs. They were great! The flavor was wonderful with the mustard based sauce. The only down side was the limited sides (chips or slaw). They are only seating outside right now, and they don't have heaters set up. The beer selection made up for that, but only if you like IPA's.

This was our first time at YDE and I can say for a fact that we'll be back! After a 30 minute drive in traffic, this was definitely worth it. Love the atmosphere and the family vibe. Like a Pulled Pork Highway to Pig Heaven! So many different styles of pulled pork. I was more than satisfied. Can't wait to go again. Maybe NSB location next time.

Really amazing BBQ right here. Try the Mr. Smokey, it is finger licking good, so juicy you might need a few napkins. Also their chocolate cake, best cake ever! This place never disappoints. Definitely recommend you to go and try it! You will love it! Specially because they have something for everyone. Even if you don't eat meat!

WOW! First time here, BBQ Pulled Pork is the Star here! At least 10 different ways that it's served. I had the Blue Suede Shoes, slow smoked pulled pork, Chef Fish's Golden BBQ sauce, Blue Cheese on a fresh baked bun. Great food, get there early. We got there at 11:30AM and the line was already 10 deep. Will be back!

Yellow dog has a great atmosphere and the food is always fantastic. Everything is worth trying! The pulled pork salad has so many flavors it's like an adventure in your mouth. The drunken pig is also very flavorful and satisfying. They also have a great selection of beers and wines. It is a great place to eat alone or hang with some friends!

I've never had a bad meal here. This place has a great vibe and some really creative menu items, not to mention a cool selection of draft beers! They are very pet friendly and have an amazing staff! quick tip: if there is room at the bar and the line is long to order, order from the bar! It's worth the wait regardless!

This is a local eclectric barbeque/fresh food/craft beer place with a definitely unique vibe. An old general store converted into a quirky cute place with great food. We especially like their pulled pork nachos, tomato and mozzarella salad, and ever-changing beer list. We also like the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. And if you are lucky, Fish, the owner and chef will greet you personally!

Definitely out of the way. But you should not ignore. They are known for their pulled pork. Right now it's only outdoor seating. No worries it's covered. A mish mash of decor but it works. It looks like people are encouraged to write on the walls. Saw some interesting things. The menu has some funny names. Looks like a lot of it is made in house. I ordered the White Trash which was a pulled pork sandwich on thick cut white bread. It was topped with cole slaw, gouda cheese, pecan smoked thick cut bacon, pickle chips, and Fish's Gold BBQ sauce. It's a messy sandwich for sure. It's served up with your choice of slaw or chips. My mistake was assuming that they served it with house made chips. Nope...Miss Vickie's kettle chips. I did ask our server why a place like this doesn't make their own chips. He basically said it's too much of a mess to make it. I guess it's a good enough reason as any. The meal was finished off with a slice of coconut lime cake. A little dense but great taking cake. This is a place I'd definitely drive to if I wanted to show my friends a cool place to hangout and eat. There are several choices for beers but no cocktails that I saw. The only downside to the place is no indoor dining. No fault of theirs but it did limit seating. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable. I did take pictures of the menu but for some reason they didn't attach.

We drove to Gotha FL to meet someone and happened upon this very bohemian beach-like restaurant. There isn t any indoor seating so we were directed to the back of the restaurant. The garden area is packed with a variety of terrace-like tables and picnic tables. They have a restored red VW bus serving as a wall between the garden and the parking lot. Social distancing isn t happening here but people were pretty good at wearing their mask if they left their table. Being outside helps. We ordered 2 sandwiches: Blue Suede Shoes and Florida Cracker. The coleslaw was AMAZING!! A definite! The pecan BBQ was very different. I would have liked more spice and the pulled pork was good but I was looking for more flavor and tenderness. The bread was heavy so I would avoid it next time. Overall we will return and try other items on the menu. I recommend trying this place. You could tell there were a lot of regulars across the age span and they offer a Vegan menu.

I love the atmosphere and the food here. The staff is awesome too! Feels like you re eating at a friends house rather than a restaurant in the absolute best way possible. I keep an eye on their FB for the daily specials which are absolutely amazing. My only complaint is that when they sell out of a daily special they don t post it on their social media page.

I had been wanting to go to this place for sometime [at least 2 years] and by the line inside from one far wall to the counter I was in for a meal to remember. Don't be discouraged by the line, use it to your advantage. With the line being so long I had plenty of time to look over the menu. Everything sounded good. My experience is to try something that is a regulars favorite. There is no way you can go wrong with this theory. The menu also has a helpful key to navigate through recommendations and regular favorites. The atmosphere inside is like being in a really good friends house out in the country off of the only two lane road that leads to the main town square in the movie Pleasantville. Seating is limited but there is outside seating in the backyard and also upstairs. The food was excellent and I went with the recommended sangria to top it off. This place is on my short list of preferred places and I look forward to going again in the near future.

So Good! The best things to try here: the BBQ anything. The "Fish" sauce is not fishy, it's from the name of the owner. And it's his signature BBQ sauce, similar to a Carolina style type of BBQ. also good: the deli sandwiches and salads. A plus- the ambiance. This is retro old Florida at its best... sit outside in the funky patio or inside the VW bus. If history is your thing, sit upstairs. The building is from FAR in the past; it was a general store at one time. There are plenty of photo locations as well. A great alternative to the same-old restaurant scene.

Been eating here for 7 years and always have a good experience. Yes, it's always crowded. That's because the food is so good. They are so efficient, the food is ready in no time. The live entertainment on the back patio is always fun.

The original Yellow Dog Eats has a lot to offer versus the New Smyrna Beach location. I love them both. Upstairs dining, VW bus in back, great people, but the location is hidden and thank you Google maps. Mmmm..food delicious!

The food is a bit over priced, but the location and atmosphere are nice. UNFORTUNATELY, it does appear that they are letting anyone inside the main shoppe because of Covid-19, which kind if stinks. Visiting the place and seeing all the pictures and things on the wall were a part of the experience, but now it s just you and the food. haha Would recommend Ellie Lou s which is not too far from there instead.

This is a very cute place, a hidden gem. It s was very busy the whole time I was there, even after the lunch rush, but they still had tables available. All the food was fantastic. I had the chicken salad, but both of my friends food looked excellent too, the tuna poke and the white trash sandwich. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was way too hot to sit outside, but the outdoor area was gorgeous. Very dog friendly.

Quirky and cool atmosphere with food that is just as quirky and cool. If you like normal food you will find something here but if you like to try new culinary creations....THIS IS THE PLACE! Flavors that I would have never thought to put together but everything I try is AMAZING! Everytime I go I leave with a new favorite. This is a hidden gem that everyone must try. You will be back....it's our new addiction. The WHITE TRASH is one of my all time favorites. Relaxed patio out back and you can bring your dog!

Amazing food and great service. We are from out of town and heard that this was one place you had to eat if you were in Orlando, and it's true. We all ordered something different and everything was so good. Our waiter/bartender was very helpful and made great suggestions on what to order. A definite must stop if you are in Orlando. You will not be disappointed!

Yellow Dog Eats is THE place to take friend and family to. Out in unassuming Gotha, this old remodeled home stands out with a line out the door and it's eclectic decor ensuring that the ambiance is just as good as the food. The local cat, Montell, is friendly and so are the roosters. The menu covered everyone from your vegetarians and vegans to the meatatarians in your group and they don't skimp on ingredients. My absolute favorites are the Yellow Dog Club and the Black Forest Ham bone. Grab a deli side of the avocado hummus and some pita chips and pick one of their many beers on tap for a laid back dining experience in a unique and unexpected part of town.
