Amazing faculty. Dr. Singh in the fire research lab is a futurist and visionary! Very impressed by my visit.

It's is a research place where many scientists of different streams work together for healthy fulfilment of buildings and monuments.

One of the best research institute for civil engineering and allied sciences.

It is located at roorkee , uttarakhand . main function is to test and provide all building related materials and provide test certificates ,
Has a number of laboratories to carry out all sorts of material testing and
R & D centre for building materials.
Certificate provided by them is a valid document to prove that the material tested by them is good for use in buildings .

CSIR has left an I dibble Mark on every sphere of life. CBRI is one of the research Institute established under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) . Institute provide the solutions to allmost all the area of building research. Campus environment is great for research and all facilities that's necessary for the research are provided by the institute.

Some of the scientists at CBRI are seriously involved into research work for providing various economical buildings to the society.

Highly corrupted... One of the worst labs of CSIR in terms of progress.... They recruit Project Assistants , bait them for Rs.15k, 25k & 28k CONSOLIDATED STIPEND (YES - Stipend, NOT SALARY) and will deduct it on per day basis if you don't work on Saturdays, Sundays...

They will assign you a 15 days task and ask you to complete in 5 days... All Project Assistants come here with hope and leave with betrayal or if they r lucky enough to get a real job somewhere...

Don't fall for such Traps.. These r just 'Moh-Mayas'... IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO DO SOMETHING IN LIFE...

They will pay you Rs.x and will make you work a Rs.10x task...

Warning - IF YOU WANT TO PROGRESS IN CAREER, DON'T FALL FOR THIS

A place where u easily get exploited for personal reasons

I have personally visited this institute many times and what i have found that CSIR-CBRI will provide you all the equipment needed for research purpose and some (few) scientists are seriously involved in R&D work.

A building research institute. But, as a matter of fact it could not produce a research of any worth after the retirement of Dr Dinesh Mohan - Director of CBRI, many years ago. Presently, only consultancy projects are taken, that too, only for commercial purposes. Needs serious overhaul.

Great scientists.. And well maintained labs and machines

Don't ever attend their walk-in interviews.They are already fixed and biased.
