We ordered a 350 crate motor in August. Got it, installed it in September. The motor sounds bad and runs bad. Supposed to be 414 hp. Has less power than the one we took out. Took the car to our mechanic. They used a bore scope. They say there is considerable debris and scarring inside cylinder 2. They didn't need to look any farther. They say the motor is no good. I sent YearOne an email. A few days later Bruce called back. He says that out of Thousands of motors not one single one was bad. They were all the fault of the buyers/mechanics/drivers I guess. Imagine that. He also said that ATK doesn't give refunds. Ever. Funny thing is that YearOne took the order, the payment, and has their name on this motor. And ATK said scarring on the cylinder walls is fine. I'm not too sure about that. And 2 days later and still nothing to send it back. $3700 for a large shiny paperweight. We put the old 350 back in. Runs better. So the moral of this long sad story is buyer beware because you will pay for whatever they send you. UPDATE: They gave our personal email correspondence to this vendor. We were asking technical questions because the motor ran so bad. They are trying to twist it and so of course this won't be covered by the "warranty".

Do not buy here! I live 4 hrs away. I bought a couple very small items. Shipping box was very small, the size of my fist. They charged $18. For shipping and it took 6 days to reach my house. They were to cheap to send it ups and sent it USPS select. I learned my lesson. I emailed them with no response.
Send you parts, they send you the wrong ones, figures why they have only a 2.9 star rating, it'll be lower after this review.
Unfortunately it was closed on Labor day. Went to Summit racing instead
I purchased a cigarette lighter from them for $20 and it was the exact same cigarette lighter available at any auto parts store for $7. FD9109C for A-Body 1962-76 - Dart - Duster - Valiant. This part did not have the same knob as the original and even had a ground tab on the case.
Awful people, very unfriendly and bleak as far as personality goes. If your a novice they try and take advantage and overcharge for parts. Be careful, and do your own research before dealing with these crooks.

sold me junk motor same story as the guy below me. no power for supposed 400 hp 350 broke a rocker arm within 100 miles on the motor got it fixed still no power cant even spin the tires. this was over 5-6 years ago ended up putting in a used gm performance truck motor way more power. so clearly they haven't learned based on everyone elses reviews how to stand behind their products next car i build my parts will becoming from someone else.
The one and only time I will purchase from year one. Their add says they have a b body radio bezel that will fit our 69 charger. It does not, after waiting 5 days to get it delivered and we live in Ga too.. it was wrong, called they argued ..said they measured and it fits so drove our General Lee there to show them they do not work...after Marty came out and seen for himself it does not fit, he then proceeds to go back and look and then comes back out with correct one that they don't sell...then asks where ours is for a refund ... (which he misplaced in his office) as if we were trying to get a refund and keep a piece that wouldn't fit anyways... So after wrong part, and driving 2 hrs to have to prove ourselves we get a sorry for your troubles.. not doing business with year one again also if they post a pic of our car it's not because even the general lee goes to year one it's because it's the one and only time it would of had a year one part on it. It however does not... very disappointed. So hopefully now they will fix their advertising to say may fit some b bodys...

Placed order nov 13 credit card billed nov 16 still no product nor estimated time of arrival. They keep blaming manufacturer, how hard is it to get bolts! Project on hold for a few bolts. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from this company! They want their money upfront and don't care if you get your product! Yes i have called them 3 times now, no help, unacceptable! Update Year One now says order will be available 1st of next year. To get to the bottom of the problem i called the vendor of product ordered from year one. We ordered item 11/13, year one billed our c card 11/16. Get this, they did not order the item from vedor until 11/24. This is an unacceptable way to get repeat business in my opinion.
I ordered a quarter panel, it had rust on it and a section cut out. The part I really needed. Every edge was smooth except the corner I needed. It was rugged like it was cut with a cutting wheel. I was offered a partial refund and I responded back to accept it. But 2 days later and no response nor money back in my account

I've only shopped at their online store but so far I've had no problems with anything for my restoration project, found some prices that were much better than other sites. Only thing keeping me from a five-star is shipping and handling prices can get expensive even for small things.
Is not good as it was 2 years ago writing a have so many cars as 2 years ago. They didn't have good cars as it did two years ago on the grass and in the parking lot is not that big I wish they had it all cars on the grass 2 years ago this year not worth going to see by my opinion

Year One is has superior customer service! The people are professional and courteous to deal with! Anyone who says otherwise probably has some issues of their own to work out. This is a top-notch organization!!
I have been dealing with them since the mid eighties when they first opened. They carry a lot of restoration parts you may not want to go elsewhere for. Some parts tend to on a waiting list but most are on hand. Service and parts are very good.
Have had an order placed for 2 months, no communications and can't get them to respond with an update. No way to open a complaint. They must not want to hear from you.
All parts for your restoration needs, braselton bash every third saturday of the month.
Nice show not so big of a turn out, I think they should hold them a little later in the evening because it's way too hot during the middle of the day.
