We couldn't have had a better experience and all expectations were exceeded. Prompt communications, excellent selections and super friendly service, not to mention the great knowledge and expert advice we received. We also got meet Butters, the parrot, and were treated to a full garden tour. It is a botanical paradise which we are already planning to revisit asap.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. SUPER nice people, great products, great service. Excellent prices. Plants were amazing, and well packaged for shipping. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I couldn't help but notice the seething review by "Pannotonea" (close enough) saying they shopped there (Nearly Native Nursery) once. ONCE? And so the Nursery goes down in that person's book as a "Watch Out!" Nursery. Let me tell you, and being 100% honest-- I say, WE ALL NEED TO GIVE EVERYONE WE DEAL WITH A FAIR SHAKE. Was that "ONCE" a fair shake? --I don't think so! Oh, and let me also say this (to be 100% honest) I worked for the male and female (they have names, Jim and Debi) and they are super people (they are a 'Mom and Pop' business) they have helpers... They are strapped like many Mom and Pop businesses in our not so wonderful world of anonymity that the INTERNET has issued in (these last 20 years)... So they certainly deserve more than one shot at it. I am sure Jim and Debi get their wires crossed now and then-- I worked there. But, this is where we, the loyal buying public come in. We need to recognize that they are not yet AI (artificial intelligence of the future) they are the REAL thing. So if you 'deal with these people' treat them like people and you will get a GREAT product. If something happens, be honest with them and explain what happened. Then see what happens! This is a GREAT nursery with a GREAT product NATIVES. Give them a fair crack and you will not be disappointed. Better yet too, if you can go out and see them during their open days. They work hard at trying to please you!! Besides, where else within less than 183.9 miles get the same products all under one roof?? Where?
One time, I decided to order a tree from this nursery, but I wanted a specific size. The male owner told me that while they didn't have that size in stock, they would a few weeks later. He also told me that there would be NO special shipping charge for that size. Then he took down all my credit-card information.
About a month later, the female owner told me that they were out of that size for the REST of the season, and that if I ever decided to order it, there WOULD be a special shipping charge.
So, I wasted a whole month waiting on these folks when I could've just ordered the tree from another nursery. And then they never apologized for not being able to get their story straight and leading me on. Although they hadn't charged my credit card yet, if I didn't catch their incompetence and cancel my order, they certainly would have.
If you ever order from NNN, do so with caution. I would order from them again only if I couldn't find a particular item anywhere else.
I have visited this nursery a couple times and every visit has been fantastic. Great selection of prickly pears and some native cold hardy palms to diversify the landscape. Definitely recommended.
Offering over 1,000 different species from the rare to the common, you can find almost every native plant you might want for your butterfly garden, forest, or whatever habitat you may be trying to create/enhance. Jim and Deb are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Online or in person, you can expect a wonderful experience at NN. I highly recommend visiting in person and walking their paths to see a biodiversity wonder. Bring your camera, too, as you're sure to see all kinds of flora and fauna whose images will prove wonderful to capture.
I wanted to know the name of a plant in our woods, so after looking everywhere, online and other nurseries, went to Nearly Native Nursery with cellphone picture at the ready. Jim, in an instant, told me what the plant was! Aesculus Sylatica, aka, Painted Buckeye! I was very interested in the (unusual, to me) plants that Jim has in the Nursery. He gave me information on dozens of plants and spent more than a hour with me; answering every question. The entire experience was awesome! I should have started my quest at Nearly Native Nursery! Thank you, Jim, for a wonderful learning experience!
An oasis of native GA species! If you're a plant nerd, this is heaven... I didn't wanna leave! The grounds here are magical... You can buy a plant that attracts the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds without killing them with neonicotinoids. Their expertise and passion is evident the second you walk down their wooded garden paths. Smell the blooms, learn about which native species to plant instead of the boring ones you get at big box places. Native species grow better. They help restore native flora and fauna lost due to development and misguided landscaping practices. Nearly Native has pitcher plants, cacti, oakleaf, vines and native azaleas and everything that grows native in Ga. I fell in love with this place and made new friends. Coming back in summer to see the monarchs!!
This place is an incredible source for native plants from folks who have been preserving and propagating them for 25 years. You have to check them out! It's not your corner garden store but well worth the trip. Google maps took me right to it.
Lovely visit to Nearly Native Nursery today! Jim has a great selection of plants, and he and his staff are very knowledgeable and can help answer questions. The parrot is quite entertaining as well. Definitely worth the drive from Atlanta
We had a wonderful trip to Nearly Native Nursery and were able to get Red Buckeye Trees which we could not find anywhere else as well as native Redbuds. Jim and Debi are very knowledgeable about the various native plants and their growing requirements. They have a huge inventory of sought after native plants we will definitely be back for spring planting.
Well worth the drive. Owners Jim and Debi stock their natives nursery with excellent young plants, many very difficult to find elsewhere. Both trips there in early 2018 were successful, very successful.
Great place to shop for native plants. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and give good advice. I was surprised by their inventory on my first visit and have been back several times.
I really hate to do this, but I feel like I have been shafted by people that I considered to be a friend of the butterfly and milk weed world. I live in Tennessee and drive over 3 hrs to get Milkweed from NNN. I paid for seven plants yesterday but was not able to drive down yesterday to pick them up because of a funeral. Debi was nice enough to leave them in a spot I could come get the today, a Sunday. When I got there I could not believe my eyes. I could not believe I paid and traveled over there hours for what was left for me. That will be my last trip to NNN. Live and learn.
