Always fun to walk through and check out. All kind of weird funny cool things to see.
A wonderful tourist spot in seattle, on the waterfront. All of it's products and sights are incredibly unique. Fairly expensive, however, but you get what you pay for!
Fun place for anyone checking out Seattle. Nobody at the shop every cares if you're just going to look around. Fun place!
This place was fantastically weird! Although it was crowded, the store had a good flow to keep people from bumping into each other or getting stuck in corners or niches. I'd honestly steer clear of bringing small kids in here though as there are tons of breakable items just out on display shelving within reach of small kids. They have really good fudge here too and neat items to look at. This place really is 2/3 store and 1/3 museum!
So much to see and look at. Hard to maneuver, but it's nice to see it still thriving.
Some tourist traps are worth the visit! Fun little store with an odd mix of merchandise and mini museum exhibits. There are a few nice things to buy and some fun things to look at. Always fun to stop by!
This shop is a collection of a lot of odd and really cool things. I enjoyed it.
Used to be a cool place. Relocated to the back of the pier and turned into a super spendy made-in-china trinket store. Won't be back again after years of enjoying the place and it's stories (and formerly fairly priced unique novelty items). There is no longer anything unique or special about this store or it's mass produced and over priced junk.
One of my favorite place to get a bite of fudge, look at interesting things and get the perfect, yet unusual gift.
This place is everything you want it to be with fun trinkets even locals find amusing.
Super interesting spot to check out. Almost like a free miniature museum and gift shop roller into one!
Used to be better. The new location is smaller and it's just way too cramped now. Still lots of cool stuff though.
Definitely one of a kind! Visit for some unique goodies you probably won't find anywhere else!
Super cool place!! I thought it was super cool that it's a museum and a novelty shop!! It was super fun and family friendly! There is definitely something for everyone! They have unusual candy's, toys, jewelry, and lots more!! It's a super cool place that has been there for more then a hundred and I definitely recommend visiting!!!
I always find something to get here. It's full of interesting and unexpected things. There are a lot of curiosities and museam-like cases full of oddities and off the wall things you wouldn't find anywhere else. They've got the usual tourist knick knacks and toys too, so there's truly something for everyone. It's always very crowded though, so be prepared to dodge a crowd. Great experience overall, highly recommend.
Always has cool things in there, prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and helpful.
This is my favorite shop in Seattle. The knick knacks are cool, but the coolest part is all the shrunken heads, mummies and taxidermied creatures. A must see for any visitor.
Love this olde place. I've been visiting this shop since I was a kid.
Little bit of everything and a whole lot of weird.
This is a Nic Nac shop but with a couple of mummies. Worth a quick look. Mummies in the back.
I absolutely love this place. Could easily spend all day in there looking at all of their novelties and museum of artifacts.
Really cool gift store and museum. it has been family owned since it opened in 1899
It was a clean and exciting gift shop. I want to go back!!
This is an awesome place to visit. Love the mummies.
This is such a fun shop, with wonders to see like the smallest skeleton of a sea horse, and some kind of creepy sea creature mermaid. It was unlike other shops I've been to, and so fun for kids too.
The name describes it best. It's a must stop when in Seattle.
Absolutely love this store, whether you are native so Seattle/Washington or just in town on vacation, it's always fun going and visiting this shop. Not too mention a great view of Seattle's waterfront, which where this shop is located down off on one of the piers!!
Super touristy spot. Not exactly what we were hoping for. Free to go in and look around though. Alot of the macabre items are hanging from the ceiling so make sure to look up and find the mermaid. It's pretty funny.
I liked it better before it turned big-boxy. It has more trendy, easily-available items than ones that feel like Seattle or old-fashioned waterfront store goods now. The curiosity items aren't spread out, and the focus is far off of them and more on commerce, which makes it strange that there don't seem to be enough employees to help everyone. It gets four stars instead of three, though, because it's still my daughter's favorite, and it sells fudge and tons of quirky earrings.
As a kid I loved the Old Curiosity Shop, lots of cool and unusual things to look at and ponder. Now it's just another tourist thing.
Total tourist shop. Fun trinkets. Small, museum of oddeties
I went in thinking I would see lots of cool stuff like they show on their website. But really it's just filled with crappy gifts and way too many endcaps with fidget spinners. I was hoping for more macabre.
Definitely a fun place to visit!! Eco-friendly shopping bags are available with a great design!
Weird, Funny and a little Gross and Novelties shop. I dont like Taxidermy so this place made me a little sad.
Awesome old place. Worth seeing even if you don't want to biy anything. They have a mummy, two antique player pianos, amd many other curious things to see. Also, the fudge they make here is some of the best I've had.
Awesome shop! Great old coin machines and 2 mummies! Lots of other interesting stuff to look at.
Really fun relics to look at and some cool stuff to buy, but be prepared to pay tourist prices.
Very cool and weird. Fun place to take tourists and family that visit. Great location.
Be there with your kids, even if you dont shop there is a lot of interesting stuff. Touristic place add a little bit of extra cash upon prices.
Always stop in when I'm in Seattle, love this store
Great place for unique and fun items. Don't forget to look up.
The mummies and the taxidermied butterflies are worth a visit.
Disappointed that it was not like what remembered. Very small space. Just was not comfortable walking thru
feels a bit like a tourist trap. Nothing really special about it
Neat shop with weird things, but literally nothing I would buy. Neat to walk around.
Such an awesome shop! Greatest shop on the Seattle pierre.
A nifty place with a lot of interesting and unusual things for sale, from earrings to shrunken heads.
Fun, quaint little souvenir shop on Seattle's waterfront. A must visit when in town!
So much neat and interesting stuff, you could spend some time in here.
Been coming here from time to time since i can remember! Love seeing the little knick-knacks and coming back everytime reviving old memories of the place! P.S. the orange creamsicle fudge should be a year round flavor!!!
A store to spend time in reading, looking, and believing or not
Great experience! It's more like a museum. A lot of weird items! Must visit
If you visit Seattle, this is the place to go! It's one of those places you want to check out to just say you went there. They have all sorts of fun knick knacks, jewelry, games, toys, handmade items, etc. It's also right on the water and close to the market, aquarium, argosy cruise, etc.
Aside from having the same generic souvenirs that you can get anywhere on the waterfront they also have all types of interesting gifts and things to collect. Even if you re not looking for gifts it s cool to go in just to look at all of the oddities that they have. They have everything from shrunken heads, mummies, framed bugs, and bat skeletons. There is also a little counter in the corner where you can buy fudge, they have all different flavors and types but I personally think it s a little too sweet.
Its a pretty fun shop lots wonder over. Open your imagination and take a look at the shrunken head.
Great place with a little for everyone and the oddities are well odd lol. I must see if in the area.
The store clerks will tell you about the different things to see. A good place to go every if you aren't going to buy anything.
I liked all the items in the shop great for shopping for friend's & family members.
What an amazing place!
I visited at suggestion of my husband who remembered this place from his younger years... I wasn't disappointed! I only wish I had more time to explore!
Seeing the real shrunken heads, mummified bodies, and other eclectic mix of trinkets and oddities... Simply amazing!
I highly recommend anyone in Seattle area go visit this place... Give yourself plenty of time and don't rush though as there's lots to see!
If you do choose to buy something prices are very reasonable too. Employee was quite friendly & helpful as well. They're located by the big observation wheel at the docks now (in case you look for it at their old location).
Parking was difficult (but it's Seattle at the waterfront what do you expect).
It's a little crowded, but they have awesome things to look at. The mummies are interesting
This was a fun shop at Pikes place! They have just about anything that you can imagine! Anything from the unique, to the strange, to to cool. Check it out. If you are in the area. They have amazing fudge also!
So many things to see and buy. Like a small Believe it or not museum.
It's a gift shop. If you're looking for real oddities,a smaller shop would be better.
Great shop for souvenirs as well as odds and ends. They have some neat, unusual items and some unique artifacts in the back.
Some of the attendants can some completely uninterested to be there.
I could spend hours looking around in this store, although my seven-year-old was really freaked out by the mummies and shrunken heads! Parents with squeamish little ones, be warned! Otherwise, such a unique and fun place to shop!
I love this shop, I've been there on numerous occasions and always find something new. Don't forget to look up :)
I don't think I've ever actually bought anything here, but it's a fun place to walk through and look at. Just be warned there will be hundreds of other people doing the same.
The cutest tourist trap you'll ever wander into. It's surprisingly small, definitely overpriced and kitschy, but worth a few minutes of your time, if only to be disturbed by the mummies and shrunken heads.
Always find something cool, my sweety and I found some great shells for crafts.
The Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is stunning.
This examination is long due paying little character to I on an incredibly key estimation need to see Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.
Visited Ye Olde Curiosity Shop last Christmas to buy presents for my family. As we in general in everything considered in everything considered in with everything pondered know, Christmas is open giving. Its better than anything standard to know there are one stop present shops around the zone so its less issue to look and buy for presents.
I was tied down how much gift considerations there are inside the shop. From toys to reinforces, there are packs to look at. Since I need to buy something for most by a wide edge of the relatives, I need to check for gifts sensible for each age. Head thing all of them are here.
The place is paying little respect to gets. You will have a mammoth area of fun just by walking around the shop. Packs to get a couple of information about. The place is overwhelming and clean. Extraordinarily, even the alliance is astonishing even there were a titanic component of customers getting degrees of overhaul. They can even wrap the present for you. Shouldn't something be said about that?
I will return here at Ye Olde Curiosity Shop to buy presents for a sidekick's birthday.
I loved the place. A lot of different stuff the staff was real nice. And the shrunken heads was really crazy to see. The mummys where amazing to see. I would definitely come back to this place...
Very incredible amount of very unusual and historic items. Many low priced tourist items. Musuem like displays.
Well worth a visit.
Kind of a tourist trap but then again I love it because I remember going here as a kid. Cool to see some of the old artifacts on the walls and in the cases but unless you have a lot of money for the cool stuff there are just a lot of tourist trinkets. Still a good place to visit.
You have to go here if you're visiting Seattle or just haven't been out to the piers for a while. They always have tons of awesome weird things. Totally worth it!
Love the cool stuff you can see. Definitely keeps up with the way the old shops used to be ran. It mostly satisfies your curious side. Mummie shrunken heads ECT plus cool novelties
Fun place. Not only is it a gift shop but also a cute mini museum with strange and interesting artifacts. Definitely worth checking out.
It's cramped, but full of greatness.
The fudge is excellent.
A lot of unique stuff to see, and of course Sylvester.
