Cool place to go check out! We enjoyed it. My daughter plans to bring her friend, who will be visiting from Australia, here to get a glimpse of American Historical Pop Culture.
Purchased an elephant beetle taxidermy which I was assured was real. Found out when I got it back home to Colorado that it's fake and a prop from China overpriced by about 100%. Rip off artists. Avoid
Very packed with tourists! But worth it for the fresh made fudge!
Fun and witty! I try to stop by here every time I visit Seattle. The decor is off the wall, almost like being in a page from a "Ripley's Believe It or Not" book. There are plenty gifts, tricks and knick knacks to gloss over. I spent about 15min laughing with friends as we tried on holographic eyeball glasses. The old arcade machines are neat and enjoyable to play with. I suggest you to try out the old gypsy box in the back; she'll give you a fortune for a dollar and they are pretty darn cool as a souvenir. (I keep mine in my wallet and sometimes share them with strangers that need a smile.) I highly encourage you to stop by this place at least once.
Interesting objects. I could spend hours in here. Very attractive for tourists
Love this place. Fun and Interesting items to look at, and buy, and delicious fudge!
Cool place that should offer something for everyone
Great little shop to visit. They have some really good fudge also
My favorite shop. Lots of fun kitchy stuff, definitely some interesting curiosities.
Amazing product selection, incredible and quirky mummies, very friendly staff. it is the most educational gift shop I have ever seen!
It's an.... Interesting place. It's sure to make you want to spend money on things you never even knew existed.
Eclectic and bizarre. Worth a quick visit if you are already in the area.
Some very unique stuff and was a very nice atmosphere! RECOMMENDED
A true Seattle institution. Classic and creepy, a mix of Seattle souvenirs, old-timey slot machines and sideshow relics preserved for your viewing pleasure. Sylvester the Mummy, a two headed calf, and the Medical Ed head all staring back at us from behind plexiglass. The place is beautifully positioned on the pier 54. It moved just one storefront closer to the water in January 2016. As I have visited this shop in its various locations over the years, each time I have gotten a strange sense that it may be slightly haunted. This time was no exception. I put a quarter in the Jolly Jack machine. The sailor hat-wearing, cigarette-dangling, rosy-cheeked mannequin (with a fly on its nose) cackled the ENTIRE duration of our 30-minute visit!
Is simply not what it used to be. A tourist gift shop is all this place is. Save your time.
Cool stuff to look at. A good place to go if you have kids, all the merch was geared to them.
Very cool store. Had some amazing things in there. A must for anyone visiting the waterfront in Seattle.
Unique, cool. Combo museum, gift shop. Signs say many items are not for sale, but clerk said "make me an offer"
They have moved to a newer location. The eclectic mix of old and new is still refreshing. New generations will love the place.
Souvenirs? Yes. Oddities? Of course. This shoppe is just full of fun and interesting knick knacks. Friendly staff too.
So awesome! Everytime I bring a visitor to the city I take them here and they love it. Great place to start the city visit.
Even if ur not going to buy something there is lots of oddities to gawk at!!
One of the most odd and unique shops I've come across in the world. Really difficult to describe. Just go visit it! A "gift" shop and way, way more.
Same things they've had since i was a kid . Great place for tourists and foreign visitors
Enjoying his Duff energy soday and his alligator jerkey from Ye Olde Curiosity Shop at the end of the pier with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay
This.place is a riot. Lot of interesting artifacts. The Pacific island stuff is all legit, I assume the other things are too.
We come here every time we visit Seattle. So unique and fun to look around at everything
Proud young man who is the great grandson of the original owner, cheerfully helping from behind the counter. Lots to see. They have mummies and a vampire kit.
Still some cool treasures in amongst the "souvenirs"
Such an amazing little shop great for Knick-knacks and tourists
I love this shop! Whenever I am in Seattle I make sure to stop by. They have the most interesting and bizzar features even compared to many museums.
Great customer service, unique items at good prices!! Will def return...
Quick walk through was enough for me. Very interesting stuff.
I loved this place! Super strange but awesome for a cheap unique gift.
This place is very unique! It's basically a musuem where you can buy things. Some of the items are very strange such as the mummy in this image. But they come with stories that are very captivating and interesting. Lots of little strange souvenirs. It is a small place and can get crowded easily, but it's free to enter this museum/store.
The place is awesome and the staff is great. Bring a lot of coins, including some dimes, to really enjoy all this place has to offer.
Very cool place! Lots of unique gifts at a very reasonable price. The cashier was very friendly and made sure to tell us where they keep the dead bodies highly recommend for any tourist walking by!!
nothing that i liked personally, but really nice things. I would recommend if your are in to weird stuff
Not your average souvenir shop. Some really unique and interesting stuff here. I enjoyed wandering around for quite a while.
Great place on Seattle waterfront. Great for tourists.
Amesome place to shop for souviners or odd cool items. Great plus they sell surprise gift boxes for the kiddos!!
Such a fun spot. I tend to bring my niece and nephew here when I get them in the city. This place is a classic variety shop and a Seattle staple. Check out their real mummies and shrunken heads! Also, try their chocolate, it's quite delicious!
Don't know why it's taken me so long to go there and im from Seattle lol
Fascinating museum and gift shop with many unusual items.
This place is definitely on the most see list for me and should be for everyone who visits.
Such an amazing experience and best of all its FREE! So many rare, bizarre and intresting items to see, that have been collected over the years. Love that everything is labelled and you can buy some funky siuvinerous of your own. For anyone who enjoys Seattle, rare anomalies or vintage items, it's the place for you.
Small yet mighty! And all the curiosity around! Definitely a go to for people from out of town.
Good souvenir shop with plenty of options. Prices are very reasonable
Still as cool as i remember it bought some mexican jumping. Beans had my fortune read and purchased some awesome fudge while. Strolling along checking out there unusual trikets they have for sale things you cant find anywhere else great time friendly staff a joy to revisit never had a better day
I love this place. Locals and tourists alike venture inside. It is a store with crazy artifacts inside to view. I took my kids here a lot when they were growing up as we walked the Seattle waterfront and always purchased some trinket when we left. You won't be disappointed.
What a lovely gem on the water front in Seattle. It's full of curious oddities that I had fun peering at, even if I wasn't in the market for tourist trinkets. Pro tip: look up when you wander in.
Pretty cool little place with plenty of interesting items scattered among lots of cheap and cheerful trinkets.
Shop with lots of odds and ends. Stuffed nearly to the brim, you can find something to suit almost any taste.
This is the most unique shop I've been to tons of interesting things to see the real mummies and shrunken heads were creepy but they have chief Seattle's hat which was neat. Will go again when I'm back and Im bringing friends to see it.
Some fun suff for a tourist but kind of lame for a local
Love, love this shop. So happy it is still around after all these years. A super fun place for the whole family. Souvenirs for anyone & very reasonable prices for everyone's budget. The history, artifacts & unique cultural aspects.
I love this place it is usually packed but very cool things
Great buffet, and show, nice trip on Argosy Cruise line to Blake Island and back. Great service too.
Fun place to hang out with visiting family n friends to laugh and have fun checking out stuff and buying souvenirs
Super fun. This place has such a collection of weidness. We loved it.
Very interesting shop! Dont see things like this anymore!
Weird. I'm pretty weird and this place made me feel like i was kind of normal...except fpr the dead animals. That was nasty.
Great shop, lots of different weird things..good fudge!
Helpful and responsible staff. Wonderful collection of art and design architecture.
119 year anniversary this year. Family owned and operated. I got to speak with the owner who's grandfather first opened the place. What an amazing history. Probably one of the most interesting stores in Seattle. Fun things to see and purchase. There's also an amazing one man band organ outside that sounds amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
This is a fun novelty place to visit, certainly seems like it had more charm and appeal when I was a kid, but I still enjoy wandering through.
This place is flat out amazing!! If your looking for something odd and out of the ordinary this is the place. Almost everything there you can't find anywhere else it's. Got stuff from mummies to spatulas and everything in between. Including sculptures on rice grains and the world's smallest hand writing.
Fun and quirky items as well as other things to look at! My kids love this store!
Love this place!!! So many different, weird, interesting things to see. Always have a great time there. Definitely a "must see" place! I can always find something to buy here.
I have always Loved this place. I go every time I'm on the waterfront. If your visiting you should go. It's a must see.
