Definitely has some strange stuff in here, but you can't go wrong with a free fudge tasting.
What a fun and quirky little shop! Definitely a lot of locally made curiosities. Plenty of Chinese made merchandise if that s what you are looking for, but a lot of unique items here that you can find for those destined to explore their curiosities!
Also, in today s world, they are doing great at limiting access during Covid.
Such a fun store! All kinds of unusual gifts and momentos. Highly recommend if you're down on the waterfront and just want to shop the unusual.
I love this place. It's super weird. Don't miss out on the world's largest gooey duck clam. It's hidden. If nothing else, go for the pressed penny machines. They have three.
Another quirky curiosity shop. Check out the mummies, crazy machines, and bones.
Go in the morning on a weekday to avoid the hordes of cruise-ship tourists.
If I was rating the fudge it'd be 5 stars. Take the free sample at your own peril. I miss the messy old store but that's just hazy nostalgia.
It's a great place to bring friends or family from out of town. So many interesting and unusual things to see and buy; not to mention all the merchandise any tourist visiting seattle could ask for.
Funky, weird, cheap if you don't buy anything. But you probably should.
Well worth a visit. Lots of cool stuff at reasonable prices.
We wandered through these lovely small shops for 2 hours. Many had the artists working within the shops.
This place was odd and weird, but in the best ways possible! Definitely worth stopping in to see the mummies, the shrunken heads, and the two-headed pig! Picked up some great unique souvenirs!
Lot of interesting things. Filled with taxidermies and unique surviniers. It's on pier with great view of sunset and Olympic mountains.
Fun and interesting, great place to find souvenirs.
If you are visiting Seattle, you must visit this shop. They have very old and cool artifacts.
I always have to stop in, when I am near the shop. I haven't been in a while, I was shocked that they moved. And why is the carousel music so far away from the main entrance?
A unique stop on the Seattle waterfront. A must-visit place when walking by.
Lots of spooky stuff like mummies and really good fudge it has a lot of crazy and cool stuff to see and buy.
They have some pretty cool stuff including bottled preserved sharks and scorpion friendship necklaces but most of the store is typical tourist trap, though a nice one!
Just like I remembered as a kid. What a fun place to share with my grandkids.
If you like this place, check out Marshes Free Museum; same idea but a bigger space and better souvenirs. A great spot for Seattle, but could do better as a curiosity shop.
Definitely had a few interesting items but most of it was stuff that would've fascinated me as a middle schooler, not really as an adult. I do appreciate that they carry Harry Potter wands though, I'll probably start a collection at some point
Good quantities and qualities of odds-and-ends and knick knacks, but the atmosphere gives a sort of haunting impression. While the goods and services were on par, I did not enjoy my time in the shop as I may have simply due to the uncomfortable atmosphere of the shop. Some may enjoy it; I did not.
A must see Seattle tourist trap with lots of interesting antiques on display. Not the best place for quality souvenirs but fun for kids to find some trinkets.
Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is one of those place you have to see visiting Seattle.
Lots of interesting stuff to look at. Very friendly staff.
Just an interesting and Old Seattle store. Have to stop by and see all the weird things. The old two headed pig. Fun to look at all that stuff.
It's full of stuff i almost like. But I've wandered all around it twice and haven't bought anything either time. My kids bought some polished rocks.
Took the kids here they absolutely loved all the strange and cool stuff! The mummies and the shrunken heads were their favorites. Definitely a 5 place to shop or even just visit.
Spent at least an hour there just looking around at the random little things they. So much fun!
What a lovely place! Sent a friend a congratulatory gift for a promotion, and Ye Olde Curiosity Shop was so kind and flexible in adding a great extra chocolate bar to the package. Would definitely order through them again!
Just as the name suggests has everything your curiosity could desire. It's a great place for kids to browse and adults too. They have two mummies on display. I think this place has been on Ripley's Believe It or Not the old TV show.
I would have fixed everything myself but I really didn t have the time. I called them because they were the first name in the list and I was in a hurry. They came, did a pretty decent job and were not as expensive as I thought they would be. I m happy I called them.
Mummy's two-headed animals dinosaurs self playing pianos Lord's Prayer on a grain of rice are just a few of the things you'll see there I don't want to spoil it check it out... Oh yeah and they got a real dork there too. But you got to look up to see him
Interesting little shop with lots of neat, weird, odd, and otherwise different things to check out. Everyone working there has always been very nice to me whenever I have visited. Definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area as a tourist and looking for something kinda different to check out!
A bunch of cool curiosties from shrunken heads to dove bunnies
This place is full of cool oddities and nifty knick knacks. If you are just passing through, I would highly recommend visiting the store.
Good service, a must see place, cannot wait to go back.
Not a bad little gift shop. Got what I needed for souvenirs under $35 while on a business trip.
Still awesome after all these years. I can't remember the last time I visited ye old curiousity shop it feels like over 10 years. I want to go back and buy some stuff just because.
Just goofy enough to be fun! It's like a Cracker Barrel shop on steroids so don't set the expectations too high
Love coming here every time I visit Seattle keep on keeping on guys!
Fun for the whole family. I bring everyone here at least once.
Just learned this shop opened in 1899 and is still in business a 5 star. Native material culture .
Really great gift options! Service and staff were very personable and helpful. The crazy pieces of art and collectibles in the store were amazing!
Been here many, many times, but it never get old. Always a fun little shop to look through.
They have a lot of interesting things. They have a wide variety of options available to look at as well as for purchases. Lots of fun to explore.
Lady selling the fudge was weird and push for us being the only people in line. Fudge was good though!
The whole family loves this place! We find something new and amazing to see with their exists every time we go! Great, one of a kind gifts and a definite half an hour shopping trip just looking around at the museum exibits!
Interesting museum atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fudge are amazing!
Great fun. Must see tourist spot. Lots of oddities to enjoy and many more to purchase.
Loved this shop and my curiosity definitely brought me in.
How can you not love this place. Too much to write about, just stop on in you won't be disappointed!
I have moved to Wi. recently and miss the nostalgia....and gag gifts! The shoppe is Definetly worth more than an hour or two of viewing!
Super cool place on the pier! Staff was very fun and helpful!
Definitely a place worth visiting 2000miles from home, put it on your itinerary!
Funny shop with variety of toys. Definitely a place kids would love.
Awesome time at this shop and museum! Great staff, great stuff they have in stock always.
A Seattle institution!
Great little novelty shop were you can buy all sorts of weird things. Also a museum were you can see all sorts of weird things. The highlights include mummies, a two-handed calf, the Fiji mermaid, and other curiosities of the world. A must see for people visiting the Seattle waterfront.
Nice shop to visit. Has large collection of souvenirs.
Great store, staff was incredibly nice and polite. Highly recommend
If you want to see some really funny stuff. Too much choice and you're paralysed - what to buy!
A must stop and see. You can find all kinds of treasures here, I even ended up with purchasing a butterfly and moth from Madagascar. Very unexpected but oil fulfilling. Be sure to say hello to the mummy.
Interesting touristy shop. They do have some framed insects and butterflies for purchase. Would go back to buy a butterfly.
I came to this shop as a child with my grandfather. They still have the mummy and shrunken heads.
It's one of my favorite places in Seattle.. go to see all the good things there
Visited this place a while back. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the market for a shrunken head, or a sea creature head..
What a great eclectic shop. Find a memorable gift for someone who has everything.
This store wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, as it did have a lot of chain store souvenirs, but there were some unique finds and cool oddities to check out. They have a few player pianos, mummy case, miniature set, odd animals (4 legged chicken), and a vampire hunter kit. The staff were friendly and they have the most amazing green tea fudge located in the back left corner of the shop. I really liked the location and the gifts that had the stores logo on them. All in all a neat place to check out of you are spending a day at the boardwalk.
This is a really fun store if you've never been to the Seattle waterfront before. Just all kinds of crazy knick knacks, for the friends back home. I've been to Seattle hundreds of times and I still stop in when I'm on the waterfront.
Lot's of fun stuff to look at, definitely for tourist but if you are one why not fit the part!
Weird store with souvenirs and trinkets. The main attraction is the collection of antiques and taxidermy on display. Definite not what I was expecting but worth stopping by for 15 minutes.
Stinky and weird as usual
The old location had more nostalgia, though.
If you are a tourist visiting Seattle this is a place you should check out. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends. This place has been around a very long time. They have a lot of oddities to look at as well as unique and gift shop knickknacks for purchase. There is also some great Native American art and totems for sale. An interesting place for kids too.
As the name suggests, Ye Old Curiosity Shop is a bit different yet also the oddly same. It is different in the it has some oddities to like shrunken heads (not real ... I hope). The sameness is because it is also a tourist store at its core. If you're walking the waterfront in Seattle, the store is worth a quick stop in to check it out but before you buy anything remember to ask yourself, "how and how often will I use this." In general, it's a good question to ponder in brick and mortar stores or when cruising Amazon online.
Lots of fun knick knacks. You'll be spending a good chunk of time roaming around
Definitely something to stop and look at, especially if you're just roaming around the Waterfront.
Ye Olde Curiosity Shop on the seattle water front pier 54 is so way cool amazing . What a awesome place to visit with your family and friends . There's so much stuff to look at here . This place has been here along time . I alway like to visit this store i love this place . It's very easy to find . There's plenty of parking or you can park at Alki Beach and take the water taxi across #love
Interesting place to visit lots of odd knick knacks and souvenirs.
Fun tourist trap. Full of curiosities that you would find in a Victorian cabinet, souvenirs and toys for the kids. Kind of like getting into grandma's attic. It's always packed and a little claustrophobic.
