Great service, lots of food. You may want to consider sharing. Two mains for 3 is plenty. Really tasty but it is a lot to eat.
Fun atmosphere, great chicken, cool drinks, free valet is a nice touch too...what s not to like?
Price is a little too high for portion you receive, food is very good, no matter what you order
SO worth the wait! We were fortunate enough to get reservations. the food here is great. the stuff here is so friendly like really friendly, quick professional, the atmosphere is wonderful, and again the food here is really tasty and delicious.
Good food. Very nice ambiance. Great service. We were able to walk in but I have a feeling they encourage reservations.
Deviled eggs looked really pretty but is more for the mustard fan.
Mac and cheese serving was pretty small for the price.
The whole bird is good enough for a group of four.
I was super excited to learn that Yardbird has arrived in LA. I don't think I've ever had a fried chicken that good (besides from Miami location), it's simply amazing. The price point is a bit high but I'm willing to pay for it because the flavor is spot on! You can easily park at the Beverly Center near Bloomingdales and take the escalators down to the first floor. The service was also exceptional and I look forward to going back there again. Note: The portions are quite big and most of the stuff can be shared.
The service was great, also the location with easy parking next to the mall. The decor and ambiance was very appropriate with the theme of the restaurant. We enjoyed almost all of the food that we ordered with the exception of the "steak". I do not reccommend it, the cut of beef was very low quality, it was served almost cold and what was supposed to be chimichurri sauce, was mostly a mixture of parsley and corriander (which is nothing like proper chimichurri). So basically stick with the traditional bird menu, that is great!
First time here. Ther chicken and waffles is by far the best in the area
One of my favorite bars in SF. I live close by and pop in every now and then with my friends and my boyfriend to get a drink after work. They just renovated and got that incredible amaro and cocktails based on it. Highly recommended!
We actually just fell into these doors literally. Our Uber driver dropped us off at the front of Yardbird. There were people sitting out front on the patio and we notice one person eating fried chicken and mac & cheese. Just the night before one of my friends said she want fried chicken and mac & cheese lol. We went in and was welcomed and sat in a very cozy and nice booth. Everyone that worked there had a very clean and professional look. The decor is extremly modern, chic and masculine at the same time lol. When asked how was the chicken we were told that it was the founders grandmothers receipe. Little did we know it would turn out to be the best chicken we've ever eaten. I even asked if my mother was in the kitchen lol. Drinks, ambience, service, food is amazing!!
I heard about this from a neighbor as she kept raving about it so we went together at about 10:40am on a Saturday morning when I was still drinking coffee and wanted no part of a spicy chicken sand that early.
The crab Benedict is the best Benedict and the sliders are really tasty!
Heavy on the pork , run chicken run!
This elaborate establishment is home to some of the most beautiful architecture I have seen as of recent. The ambiance is quite elegant-- perfect for a happy hour or a girls night out.
The food isn't quite on par. The chicken wings on happy hour ring in at 7 dollars in which you get a lavish amount-- which was a great deal, especially in that part of town. If your a rib fan the table next to me had them and they arrived beautifully plated ,almost as if on display in a glass case.
The coffee is strong and bold just like the design. Very hip and chic with a restoration hardware feel. I recommend this for a quick appetizer, but not for a full course meal. I believe this establishment will have to expand their menu horizons in order to get an overall 5 star vote.
5 star if rating solely on ambiance.
That place was awesome and our servicer made it all the better. Can't wait to go again
This is my new favorite place for delicious decadent comfort food with a twist! This St Louis stack of NNQ short ribs was finger licking good! Bursting with flavor, and so tender the meat fall right off the bone into your mouth! It s served in a glass bell shaped decanter to house the heat and set the atmosphere for something amazing! The presentation definitely rises to meet the product!
And the lobster Mac N cheese was scrumptious and filling. It was the first time the portion of Lobster was in proportion to the macaroni! I will be back again and again!
Nick, Brandon, Nolan were abosulty wonderful. Food was A1. Pleasant experience.
Michelin suggested restaurant. Walked in on a Sunday evening and got lucky with no reservation. Crowded and noisy but what you expect from a quality restaurant that has people seated everywhere. Started with hot n sour soup. Very tasty. Vegetable with beef, salt and pepper prawns and the house special chow mein was all very good.
I would return when in the city. Now my list is 2 deep for Chinese.
Cool little place lots of bourbon no complaints food was great service was amazing.
Went there tonight and the pleasure of being taken care of by Charles and he was absolutely incredible! Gave amazing suggestions and was very attentive the entire time.
My friends and I went here for Dinela. The service was slow and we were told that the only table available for our reservation was outside unless we wanted to wait. The food listed for the Dinela menu didn't state there was a salad, and then the waitress told us that the dish was correct. There were no tomatoes in the dish, and the salmon was cold. The grits under the short ribs was just warm, not hot and it took 30 minutes to get the main dishes after the appetizers. The fried chicken was tasty, the salmon was well seasoned. The beignets were doughy - not light or fluffy like they should be. They tasted yeasty and the air pockets that should exist in the beignets were very tiny - they should be large.
Overall the only thing worth eating was the fried chicken, but it's not worth the hassle to go back.
We went because my wife was searching for good fried chicken, and Yardbird was definitely delicious. Originally we were seated at a table that essentially sits in the middle of crazy foot traffic, and that was not fun - we got bumped and jostled a lot. The manager was incredibly gracious and moved us to a booth as soon as he was able, which was great.
The food is a little pricey, and I think purely based on taste Sweet Chick is still our favorite, but the atmosphere and service at Yardbird are really fantastic!
Order half chicken was pretty good with spiced watermelon very expensive shrimp and grits not so good biscuits good deviled eggs good crispy chicken biscuit very good will go back to try brunch poor customer service
What a great place. Lots of people enjoying sharing food and being together...easy and casual space. Indoor and patio dining in the Castro. Comfort food, good portions of well prepared dishes. The fried chicken was superb! The pizza crust was a tad soggy but flavors were delightful...egg on top always adds a nice touch!
Yardbird Southern Table and Bar
My pickup order was prepared on time and every dish (and all accompanying accoutrements) were neatly labeled and packed. Although the star of the show was the fried chicken, the roasted chicken was delicious. Other highlights include the brussel sprout Caesar salad and the BISCUITS. Although my takeout meal and experience was awesome, I'd like to dine-in next time.
I wish they had more options on their menu, but the food is still delicious nonetheless! I also love the cocktails!
Good restaurant located next to the Beverly Boulevard shopping center. Spacious, well lit and with space between tables for discreet talks, it offers an unbeatable location and good service. Great letter of wines and beers, gastronomy to improve. Recommended.
Great aesthetic atmosphere in a post modern industrial style fantastic service, fantastic food.
Try the homemade peach cobbler won't regret it
The place is decorated great and has a good atmosphere, however food is slightly above average and isn't worth the price.
The people are very friendly, but the food is not that good!
Great food & drinks. Food items are unusual & very tasty. Certainly a trendy & local meeting place
Love this place! Food is always good and flavorful. Dont forget to ask for the syrup and hot sauce. Service is impeccable! Whenever I'm in town this place is a must go!
A lot of food. My wife loves this place. Chicken and waffles are a feast. Great for sharing.
Quality amazing comfort food. The mac is incredible. The chicken is a sacrament. Don't pass this up.
Niice staff and good service but my California po boy was bland and my watermelon cocktail was $16 and weak
Love the food here. Everything was excellent! If you love southern food, chicken and waffles is amazing!
Food was amazing! Service outstanding! Alon was our server and very attentive and spectacular!!
The managers are terrific. Thank you Juan Sanchez . Thank you Alon my birthday celebration was amazing and your desert choice was spot on!!
Nope. Food was beyond under-seasoned. Mac and cheese was a fail. The grits were dry. The chicken had no flavor. The biscuits were rock hard. The best thing was the brussels. But we didn't come for the brussels. Our server was AMAZING. But no. This was worse than Roscoe's. NEVER. AGAIN.
Food is great! But hostesses acting like a divas and like they own this restaurant, I didn't feel welcome . The hostess main job is to make people feel welcome. So all my friends saying that food is great but no one would go back because of the hostesses.
This is one of the most accommodating Restaurants I've been to. The food came out a little late but Yardbird made up for it. I like the fact that our waitresses and management staff seemed well trained. Whitney was the best waitress,Such a well mannered person. It felt like family also felt like home, Thank you.
If I could eat there every day I would. The food is so addictive. It's simply amazing southern cooking.
Went for happy hour one Friday night. Great food and great prices. Super friendly waitress. Would go back again for sure !! Sliders and croquettes are a must.
Bessssssst fooooood everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Great and experienced waiters and waitresses
Great brunch and great drinks! If you are anywhere near the Beverly center, and need a nice sit down brunch, this place is worth the visit.
We got Huevos Rancheros and the Brisket biscuits. The biscuits were a nice hand held size and really filling for the price.
The Southern Peach cocktail was delicious and was paired perfectly with southern aesthetic of the space and the quiet country music playing over the speakers.
I'll make this short and sweet. The Rhythm room is the perfect place for a nice gathering with your friends over drinks and games. I've been here twice for birthdays and both times we've had a grand ole time. The line gets long after 10pm, so try to get here early. On certain nights they have live bands, singers, and there are plenty of pool tables and ping pong tables--just make sure you get there early to reserve a spot.
Great food. Good happy hour menu with oddly long hours.
It was the most service! Most of the good point is the food! I really enjoy the pasta and biscuit. Drinks were really nice, too. I'll visit there with my family, soon!!
FANTASTIC customer service!! Great place for Happy Hour!
Server was excellent.
Gluten free fried chicken!
Nick was excellent and accommodating.
Food was above par.
Will definitely be back.
I had some of the best rips I ever had here. The atmosphere here is great clean toilets and a very good drinking collection. Food is a bit pricey but definitely worth. Would go again for sure.
The service was good but I wasn't impressed with the menu this time. There wasn't much to choose but I managed with a salad...sorry my memory fails as to what kind, but I paired it with a drink., which was very strong and had been a little difficult to get down from the bar chair...Lol.
#no bad vibes #yard bird#
Nice environment, staff is okay. Lobster mac was very heavy felt like I was having a heart attack. Deviled eggs was just way over done. The best part was the fried green tomatoes to dye for. Chicken was okay.
Very well decorated restaurant and has a great ambiance. Stopped by for lunch and while a little on the pricey side, the food was definitely worth the value. Good southern food all elevated to another level. Would come back.
Phenomenal place! Even the freebie watermelon taste was amazing. Best brisket sandwich I've ever had. And all the sauces are excellent at a whole new level! Wife is adoring her smoked salmon toast and she's not a foodie. But she's converted now.
Yardbird is the reason that we foodies go to all the other places. It's to find this place!
The food was great, but I'm from Tennessee and I can't say real southern food is that sweet. Not that it was bad, but there was more sugar than I'm used to.
Great atmosphere, great service, great waitresses, that black berry drink was amazing, but the chicken fell a bit short for me. My southern expectations was extremely high due to all of the hype but don't get me wrong it's not a bad product, but just no big bang flavor for southern fried chicken especially at 26.00 bucks for four pieces...by the way the sauce for the chicken is amazing.. I would go back but I would eat something else..
This place is certainly one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am extremely pleased. They maintain their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.
Just wanted a simple dinner, but we got so much more. The food was tasty and the service was stellar. They even gave my wife a rose, and valet parking was taken care of.
Delish!!!! Greens are on point. Like Ma's Sunday dinner!
The service was too notch, that's for sure a 5-star. Our server was great and very pleasant and smiling throughout our time there. We had reservation but still had to wait for a table. No sense to me. They did offer us the appetizer for free, to make up for it. I don't give it a 5-star because, yes the food is delicious and cooked to your liking, but paying $30 or more for a plate of mash gravy and shrimp, WOW! Exaggeration. Then to go to the restroom and no paper towels or air dryer, is disappointing, because if they have those prices on food they should definitely make sure their restroom is fully stocked and clean.
Always great service. Their happy hour is a great way to sample the delicious appetizers
Gluten free waffles and Shrimp & Grits (that they tailored without meat just for me!) .... Outside of needing a little salt, it was beautiful
Service was cool too... server was very accommodating.
Chicken has lots of flavor, even the white meat. Has a good pop/ r&b musical selection. Big space with comfortable seating. 1st in LA to combine these 3 elements perfectly.
Bartender was really friendly nice girl great service
I actually love this place. The venue itself is in a great location and there's always a great selection of music playing as soon as you walk in- setting the vibe. Then you smell all the amazing aromas of the insanely good food and luxurious cocktails. Their happy hour menu offers a glimpse of the amazing items on the full menu. I definitely recommend this place. The servers are extremely friendly and usually funny, which takes the experience to another level. Love it here.
Everytime I go to Yardbirds, I'm blown away by the friendly (not stuffy)service, and fried chicken (gluten-free) that slays me, it's so good. I'll be back... again and again. :)
Fried chicken is slightly salty. This place serves South American food
I was so hungry that I started eating before taking a picture. This is my second time here and it's just as amazing as the first time. I also has the brussel sprouts which are everything!!
If you're going to appropriate the menu, and offer Chicken and watermelon waffles, it should be better than awesome and it was just okay, nothing special. I thought maybe black Jesus made the mac and cheese from looking at it, but no, no black Jesus I don't know who made that mac. (Maybe Judas think Kraft..., ugh) our waiter was annoying, felt like he was taking "jabs". Needless to say I did not enjoy but I feel like other cultures would sit and enjoy this food and laugh at the menu I didn't think anything about it was cute or funny
Great food, attentive service, and beautiful atmosphere!
