The food proportions, quality and service here is amazing! The food is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The only thing I felt was odd was that they determined their brunch menu or lunch menu depending on the day and not the time. Therefore at lunch time when we went, I had planned to order their executive lunch that they posted on their menu outside. When asked why it was not on the menu the server explained that the day was brunch and they only server that meal on lunch days. Despite this I would highly reccomend this restaurant.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants. Everything is extremely fresh, affordable pricing, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, big selection of sakes and beers. All chefs are good and creative, but Erik is the best. My favorite is chunky salmon sashimi, salmon and yellowtail carpaccio.

Always love hitting this plane when I'm in town. The fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and deviled eggs are a must.

Great drinks, awesome food, and nice atmosphere. Portions are smaller than I would expect for the price and type of food. Otherwise good experience.

First stop for Saturday. Heard about their bruch and it didn't disappoint. The service is quick the food was great the prices are a little bit more than average. However, the quantities make up for it. The biscuits were amazing. The shrimp and grits amazing. I also had the green giant juice. Also delicious. Must stop.

They've only been open for about 8 months according to their server but I see them surviving and thriving in LA. The food was amazing, all the flavors were on point and nothing was too sweet or too salty. Amazing work by chefs on the kitchen. Hostess could of been more friendly but it didn't take away from our dinning experience.

Always a great experience here. The fried chicken is delicious and the deserts are amazing. The restaurant validates for valet.

I can't give a honest opinion about this place because I dont eat meat. However, I had black shrimp that had to be sent back twice because of the salt level. I thought maybe it was my taste buds. I had our waiter try it and he said it was way too salty! The devil eggs had "One" salmon egg on top. Now, I've never seen any dish that had a single salmon egg. Maybe it's me. They were okay. Now, let's talk about the $62.00 whole chicken dinner. I'm not a brain surgeon but $62.00 for a chicken dinner is a bit much. Maybe it's the location but I wouldn't pay that much for chicken. My daughter and her husband did. Kudos for them. Prices aren't really that important if you deliver on flavor, creativity and satisfaction. I'll give it another twirl just to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing enough for kids. The chef makes awesome dishes that makes your tastebuds dance!! A must try in the L. A. area.

Service is excellent. Drinks are ok.. I ordered their signature Bourbon drink and it was really refreshing. The decor and ambiance is also awesome. The food is good but not that great. The price is also quite a bit high.. $32 for a waffle and chicken meal. whew. worth a try though!

They have a bomb happy hour here.

We ordered the shrimp, and it was excellent. Smoky, rich, then that southern spice just...WOO!

I also enjoyed the disco fries, and the crispy chicken sliders. And each item was only 7 bucks. Check out this happy hour, for real.

Oh, and the watermelon mojito is one of the best, more refreshing drinks I've ever had.

We can't wait to come back for dinner.

Server was very enthusiastic about explaining the menu especially the house favorites.

Food was cooked as wanted and came out in a timely manner.

Taste was just on par with the presentation of the food. Great vibes for a quick date.

Parking is a bit out of the way as you will be parking at the beverly center parking lot. Only downside to this place!

Now this is the southern style food I was hoping for. This meal was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The Llewellyn fried chicken (white meat) was exceptionally juicy and well seasoned. The honey hot sauce was a perfect compliment to the chicken. The deviled eggs and mama biscuits were sooo good. I wish this was on the east coast (NY/NJ area) because now I m craving this food. Also I must mention the service was superb!!!!! Really a hands down great experience and ambiance.

We were coming back from Yardbird and decided to stop. We got there right as they opened, the experience was well worth it. I ordered the meat lovers and my wife and daughter each did a "Build your own". Less than a 8 minute wait, portions were plentiful and very good. Would recommend this place highly

Love, love, love this spot. The drink are great, the food is great, the music is great, and I've always had good service! The only issue with this place is that I always over order!!! It's too many good items on the menu, I can never narrow it down. I have tried the chicken and waffles, but several tables around me ordered it, so that will be the next thing I try. Tonight my table ordered the black eyed peas hummus, biscuits, Brussels sprouts, shrimp and grits, kale salad with grilled shrimps and the roasted chicken. There were no complaints!

Totally not worth it. It's the "Cheesecake Factory" of Southern food. So many places with better food for less money.

The service was slow. It took a very long time for our server to acknowledge us. I felt that the menu was very limited. However, my boyfriend asked for a peach ice tea. The server could not get the beverage correct. By my boyfriend being in the restuarant hospitality field for over 26 years. He was not happy at all.I was recommended to try this restaurant by some friends. NOT really impressed at all.
The food in general was not up to par. Overpriced for the environment that we were in. I could have gone to Mastro's in Beverly Hills and had a enjoyable meal.

Nice facilities but the preferred dish is the most expensive. The waiters are jacks and super chewy. You have to repeat many times what you need at the table. There must be better places.

We had a blast ... Nice place for an adult party or cool sports chill spot. Affordable food too with great hospitality.

Our service was great! The food is cooked form scratch but is delivered to your table on time! The ambiance is great too with dim lighting and an outside seating area for a more lively vibe. Their cocktails are of course unique with different mixes. My favorite was their Yardbird Southern Table and Bar 75 which had Yardbird Southern Table and Bar, and lemon. My cocktail was a bit carbonated which was nice! It wasn't heavy nor was it dull. It had the taste of punch soda but had that cocktail form and taste! It was simply amazing.

Our first time at Yardbird & celebrating my amazing friends 50th Birthday. Five stars for Tressa, she's the reason we stayed to dine. Tressa needs top waitress award or promote to be manager. She was absolutely wonderful, smiling, helpful, knows the menu and the history, answered all of our questions. Especially mine lol , food was great I wish the chicken was spicer, lived the biscuit with pepper jelly. The manager Gangie stopped by and he was very southern hospitality and great sense of humor. Gangie thanks for the Wild Turkey Bourbon Loved the ambiance, music, very clean restaurant and especially very clean bathrooms. Our favorite part of our meal and experience was TRESSA, thank you so much for your wonderful, kind personality and service. God Bless

Great experience, usually go to the one in South Beach... Miami has a better vibe but they are both great food wise.

Fantastic chicken biscuits, Mac n cheese, and breakfast burrito

Decided not to cook this year for Thanksgiving.. let me tell you it's probably the best decision I've ever made.. Grabbed the Family meal from the Yard Bird the flavors are worth every penny def our new go to for our holiday dinner.

Really great chicken. I thought it would be over rated, but I really liked it. Rub was very tasty.Medium was pretty spicy, but very good.

Good Southern grub rustic ambiance enjoyed Twilight with all the light bulbs above the communal table.

Misses the flavor of true Southern cooking or the style of any trendy riffs on it. This place is going south but not as intended. Prices are high. The place had an interior decorator but I think his last name must have been Bland.

Tried to have lunch so we walked over and they weren't accepting anymore walk-ins at 12:30 for lunch ....not a great first experience for a new restaurant to the area

How good it was came as a big surprise. The ribs, the street corn, perfect. And the service? A delight. But the peach cobbler, with its Marzapan crust, was a trip down south.

Wow! A beautiful interior good for all sorts of occasion from a work dinner to a Sunday Funday brunch. The menu isn't too long so you know the chefs masterful at the dishes presented. The service is pretty quick and they pay close attention to your order. The owner Nathan came by my table to say hi and welcome me in which was very nice. I'll definitely be back!

Happy hour here is so bomb! The drinks are creative and delicious, and the food is great! I've been a few times and the servers have always been friendly and funny and the atmosphere is great. The wings and chicken biscuits were especially good

Everything was good except for Shrimps.
Southern style(New Orleans) food is always correct.

After spending 4 days in Los Angeles and trying a variety of eateries and other establishments, no experience compared to my time at Yardbird. Great atmosphere (music was awesome), polite staff, and superb southern-style food.

The best part about it was Our waitress, Christina. Within the first 30 seconds of our interaction, I was thoroughly impressed with her customer service skills . She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, personable, knowledgeable and patient. I have never been more put at ease at a restaurant. My wife and I will certainly be back again.

Great service and delicious cocktails at happy hour

We really enjoyed our most recent experience at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. The food was spectacular and the cocktails were very original and flavorful. The clams and mussels appetizer is a must. The ambiance was very soothing, we sat on the patio and had a very relaxed and enjoyable meal. As the night progressed, they turned on the heaters to ensure the temperature was adequate. We will be coming back to Yardbird Southern Table & Bar very soon. I highly recommend the Dungeness crab spaghetti. If you're in dtla, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is a must.

Food delish. Sweet tea and strawberry lemonade too tart. Service prompt. Waiter had to be summoned a few times. Overall, good experience.

I had some pretty high expectations for the American burger and Nashville hot chicken sandwich but both fell a little flat for me. They were good but not special or memorable so I wouldn't go back for them.

I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I must say their customer service is always good and they keep the spot neat consistently. Prices are affordable and they serve sizeable portions.

Great fried chicken!! Atmosphere and dining area is nice. Food was great and decent. Good Southern food in this part of LA. Cornbread and corn bits are amazing! Would come back to try the rest of the menu. Service was kind of slow.

A healthier version of traditional southern food with great flavor and presentation

Cannot say enough good things about my dining experience here. From the moment my friends and I walked through the doors, there's already a great friendly energy to the place starting with the hostess who was very accommodating even though we did not have a reservation and the place was packed. We actually made reservations but made a mistake of making it for the place next door where the host was not so nice and the drinks not so good reaffirming our decision to ditch the place was right. We waited at the bar for a table to become available and the bartender was great and served us right away. The drinks was better at this place too. Then, we met Juan who is the amazing Operations Manager who helped us get seated at a nice table and really took care of us like VIPs. He checked up on us during the entire meal. Really appreciate that he took the extra step to make our dining experience special because you don't see that anymore in any restaurant in Los Angeles. Then, Charles, our waiter, was also incredible helping us navigate the menu items that we ordered almost all his recommendations. Started with the Deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, kale salad then proceeded to get the fried chicken and waffles with watermelon, shrimp grits, corn, cornbread and the mama biscuits which is so delicious that I am still dreaming about them. I will highly recommended all of them especially the biscuits. Definitely worth checking out if you want a nice evening out with friends. Easy parking, validated valet or you can also park at the mall. Good food + Good service = Good Times!;

I ve had Yardbird in Miami and it was absolutely delicious however I can t say the same for my experience in LA. The host was very friendly, our server was OK. Drinks came out after our food... I feel like the server forgot because he looked surprised when we mentioned it as he brought the food out. The fried chicken didn t taste as good as the location in Miami. Overall, pretty disappointing visit especially because it costs $26 for fried chicken. Better off going to a fast food joint.

Excellent food and amazing customer service. The food was hot and fresh, with a tasty and timeless southern flair, and the bottomless mimosas never stopped coming! I particularly enjoyed their biscuits with apple butter, fried chicken, mint watermelon, and maple glazed bacon doughnuts.

Food was good , I ordered a pizza, it was alright , good desert , my son had a fancy Caesar salad and it was delicious

The best or second best fried chicken I've ever had. And the spiced watermelon may not sound good but it was very tasty and refreshing. Wouldn't recommend the mac and cheese it was only ok. But the chicken is all yo need to get here. The fried chicken was beyond incredible. It's a little pricey but well worth it once you taste that delectable fried chicken. Also the French fries were fantastic. The hot sauce us good and not too spicy but very flavorful.
