What can I say about Yankee? I have an old wood Chris Craft 22 foot boat that had a bilge pump problem when I was away. The boat filled up with water and flooded the engine. I had to get it off the lake before there was damage to the lake. I called Yankee and they came later that same afternoon and got it off the lake. It was the middle of August and Yankee was very busy. BUT they were there for me. Andrew, Albert, and Kate took care of me. They cleaned it, repaired it, and had it back in the water in a short time. Its nice to know that no matter what, in an emergency Yankee will be there.

As a novice boater I was extremely nervous about renting a boat on Lake George.
I ve seen other reviews from renters who made it look like they were being bamboozled out of damage to propellers that didn t happen while it was in their possession.
Before I launched off the person who assisted me in renting the boat suggested we go over the boat for any damages including the propeller. He even suggested I take a photo of it before I left.

This was reassuring to me as it told me that they must get a lot of folks who really do damage propellers on this lake and that those folks just refuse to take responsibility for damage that they caused.
This did make me that much more careful while operating the boat so that I wouldn t damage the propeller.

I rented the boat for their Sunday to Friday as we were in town from Saturday to Saturday.

Every interaction I ve had with them from the initial reservation, picking up the boat, coming back for midweek fill up and the boat return was fantastic.

They even sprayed down the boat with disinfectant before we took it, every employee wore masks and any person on the dock had to wear masks.

I have to say that as a business owner, I loved seeing the culture and teamwork of the entire staff.

We are all dealing with a pandemic and the team at Yankee has accepted the challenge, adapted and did it with a smile on their face. (At least I think they were smiling..they were wearing masks after all. ;).)

I look forward to renting from them next year!

Just recently purchased a boat from Yankee Boating Center. It was an awesome experience, Brian that works there helped me with everything from how to run the boat to docking it also showed me all the features of the boat. Yankee boating is the place to go for your next boat! Thank you guys for all your help!

This was the easiest hassle free purchase of anything major that I have ever bought. Brian went over and above to make this a fun experience. He spelled everything out. He was timely with everything that he promised. I would recommend Yankee without hesitation!!!

Everyone caters to your every need and they are genuinely friendly and professional. Sales, service, rentals, gas at the dock etc are all first rate! My wife and I are well pleased. We can't say enough nice things about how well are treated both before and after the sale. What a pleasure to deal with Andrew, owner, the sales manager, Kate, service manager and the entire Yankee staff. We have purchased a new Lund and 3 new Monterey SS boats over the years, the last a 298SS. This all adds up to an enjoyable boating experience, we never worry about great timely service, and therefore have great time on beautiful Lake George! We live in PA and have boated all over for many years but this is where we will happily stay, its well worth the drive. Thanks to Yankee

Top notch service. I needed a cover for a Premier pontoon, and was having trouble getting it from the only Premier dealer in Canada. Thanks to the staff at Premier, I was contacted by Dave at Yankee, who went the extra mile to make sure all the extra's for the cover were included, and got it out to me as soon as they received it. Considering I'm in Canada, didn't buy the boat from them, I was pleasantly surprised at the professional and courteous service I received.

Yankee takes care of all our yearly maintenance, storage, and detailing. Everything is always expedient and well done.
When the owner calls personally to tell you of a problem and then lets you know the next day that the issue has been repaired, it is obvious that you are dealing with a great company.

Excellent experience buying used boat and trailer. Sales Manager Brian is a good communicator. No surprises. Customer service was outstanding! Provided a real value.
