This is an excellent company with a great selection of computers. Their customization options saved me a lot of time and money over trying to do it myself, and they even handled my warranty with the manufacturer so I was able to get my computer fixed with no hassle. Highly recommended.

Good quality and price, as well as excellent customer service. However, I was a little frustrated that I ordered a rush build and my order sat in phase 0 for 3 days after I received an invoice for my payment, and then sat in phase 1 for another 3-4 days. This is the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating.

I am a returning customer to xoticpc. I placed my current order on 3/7/16.
After 2 weeks i was contacted by xoticpc staff to be informed that the asus poseidon 980 ti was no longer available. I agreed to change my order to the Asus 980 ti strix. After i made the switch they tell me that they dont actually have the strix card in stock. I was informed that the strix card would arrive at xoticpc on 3/23.
As of right now 3/30 the build still has not gone into production. i have reached out twice by phone. Both times i was told that xoticpc has no idea why my build isnt in production and nobody knows if it ever will go into production. They actually told me that it is not possible for sales reps to make contact with build/inventory for updates as they are in separate buildings. Did xoticpc put a building on the moon or what? Xoticpc has already refused to refund my money unless i give them $510 restock fee. For a computer they have yet to attempt to build.
At this point xoticpc has sapped the desire for a new rig right outta me. If my order does arrive its likely to get sent right back without being opened. I am a returning customer and will never do business with xotcpc again.

UPDATE
I was contacted by xoticpc rep on 3/30 a few hours after posting this review. I was informed of the reason for the delay in my build. I was also informed why nobody else I had spoken to was able to offer this information. As I understand it there was an ordering snafu involving the strix gpu. I have been assured that my build will begin 4/4. Yes, thats a month after my order was accepted. Its a bummer but mistakes happen, and xoticpc has shown an interest in making it right. As long as the build goes smoothly from here I would likely trust xoticpc with another build in the future.
I will update this again after i stress test the rig on arrival.

Xotic PCs website was very easy to navigate and build my dream PC. The customization options blew my mind. I spent hours trying out different configurations until I had exactly what I wanted and things I didn't even know I wanted until they gave me the option.

Their customer service responded to anything I needed to asked even via social media very rapidly. Xotic PC has earned my repeat business exclusively.

My experience with XOTIC PC was okay there were a few snags along the way, but they came through in the end. If I need to buy another gaming pc I'll definetly go through them again.

I recently purchased a 'desktop replacement' laptop through XoticPC and I have to say they are far and above the best of the best. I wont name any other names, but I had gone through 5 other companies to try and purchase a similar laptop. Trying to find a group of people who could give me a straightforward and honest idea of what I was going to end up spending, the timeframe of when I would receive my laptop, etc. All 5 gave me the runaround, and then XoticPC came through with flying colors. I honestly wish I could give them 6/5 stars because they even dealt with my terrible attitude I had left over from the other 5 companies being so false and impossible to deal with. Even with that, they kept their cool, reassured me, and dealt with me kindly and professionally through the whole process. I will not buy another custom built system from another company. Hands down. Bravo to the last internet company to provide old fashioned, timely, and honest customer service!

The best customer service I have had period. Through all my shopping Danielle, an Exotic pc tech support, was able to answer all of my questions quickly and eloquently (and might I add, sometimes entertainingly)

This was not a single instance. Throughout all of my experience with Xotic PC i have yet to be dissatisfied. Each and every time no matter how obscure and unusual the question, they were able to help me.

It truly felt like I as the customer was put first.

I had a custom PC built this past March and I have been extremely pleased! The customer service is excellent and the unit I purchased exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a custom laptop!

Xotic pc is awesome they have some of the best costumer service.

I bought a laptop on Nov 30, I was told that the order would the product should arrive 9-16 business. After a week and a half in and no update on my order, I decided to call and ask about what part of the process it was in I was told that it should be moving on to the build portion of the order.

After 14 days it still hasn't been built. So I had to call and change the shipping because I didn't want it to arrive without me being home for two weeks. I was told that it would be no problem. The next day I received an email saying that the shipping address could not be changed. So I called again they told me that the address could not be changed because I used PayPal and he gave me an option to pay with another card, so I did that. Wouldn't you know it I received an email the next day saying that I cannot use another card and would have to redo the order. I would have gladly done it but they told I would not get it for the same price and would have to pay more. When I called the third time to tell them, I found out that one of the parts was not even in stock yet, on the 15th day, an email letting me know prior to it would have been great, but they decided to not tell me anything.

It's now December 17th and my laptop hasn't even begun to be built. I am extremely frustrated and debating on canceling the order, which i'm sure I would have to pay for.

The only upgrade I chose was an upgrade from the 8gb ram to the 16gb

Update: Spoke to Josh, Chief Operating Officer, and he was extremely helpful and helped me resolve my issue in the most convenient way possible.

Received product in great condition.

Currently they are giving away stuff, an interesting point.

Best experience while buying a laptop, their technicians are knowledgeable and answer any question you might have to ensure you're buying whatever meets your needs and desires.

Updates towards the end of the review:

Ordered a $1500 MSI laptop about over a week ago. They are still processing the order and have contacted me about payment and security and I've missed a call by 5 minutes. Ive tried contacting my customer service representative Brandi multiple times right after these calls without any luck because I just get sent to voice mail over and over. Still trying to contact her. They've refunded my money and tried contacting me, I assume they discontinued my laptop after a 6 day processing wait. Still trying to contact anyone just to confirm so I can take my purchase elsewhere. There main support line goes to voicemail after 10 minutes of waiting.. Seriously I would have a laptop within a week if i would have purchased through any other website. Now I'm 2 weeks delayed and without a laptop. The fact that I can't contact any customer support is frustrating.

Edit: Finally contacted a customer service representative and am waiting for a call back.

Edit 2: Matt they're loyalty rep/manager contacted in regards to my review and order very quickly, he was great, genuine and friendly. He said he'll personally contact the distributor/warehouse of the product I bought and check a time table for my order since it was in "limited availability" Hopefully I won't have to keep calling a representatives voicemail. Thanks!

Edit 3: Unfortunately the laptop that I originally wanted would take far too long to ship and Matt was happy to help me cancel it and find some alternatives. Anyways it was a scramble to contact someone but in the end I really appreciated that Matt was able to help me resolve everything.

I have purchased 3 custom Sager laptops from XOTICPC over the past 3 years and have returned to them every time when buying a laptop. They help resolve any technical issues or detail questions on every order, they offer a discount to returning customers, and overall I've had excellent responses from their customer service. I feel buying top brands like Sager, Asus, or MSI from them is a no brainer as they will handle all the customer service rapidly for your computer rather than taking weeks to deal with the big companies. I had a small a minor issue with one laptop and it was returned, fixed and back on my desk within 5 days at no charge to me. Excellent company, their products are the cheapest you'll find and the best service you'll find. I highly recommend for any PC Gamer!

My experience with Xotic PC was awesome! My product was out of stock, but Matthew, the sales manager, recommended me an even better model for the same price! WOW! I was very pleased with my experience with Xotic PC and I would definitely buy from this website again.

This would have been a five star review based purely on the ordering and sales experience and the quality of the laptop itself...... UNTIL the thing died at only 2 years old. The motherboard completely failed. Granted, this was not xotic pc's fault - i was simply very unlucky to get a bad one. That's not my gripe. My problem is with their post sales customer service. I couldn't have been more understanding of the situation with them and sent a couple of emails asking them to consider my situation i.e. I'd spent a lot of money and although it wasn't their fault, it was incredibly disappointing for the thing to need a brand new motherboard after a relatively short time, and I wondered if they would consider some sort of goodwill gesture. Nothing, nada. Thing is, even when offering nothing, they didn't acknowledge the situation as being really tough. Simply customer service guys - if you have an aggrieved customer, firstly empathise, then tell your customer you'll do everything you can to try and find a solution for them. There was none of that and it left me feeling that i can't recommend this company to anyone else now. It's unfortunate as the sales experience and the thing itself (before it died) were fantastic.

been searching for a laptop and these guys have the best for the price that i have come across and best of all they promise no bloatware and never seen another place promise that. great pricing also have financing so here in a few weeks i getting my self one thier laptops as friend bought one last year and its still going strong

I purchased an MSI laptop from them about 5 years ago. Had to have the laptop sent in for water damage a year or 2 later. Charged me for a new motherboard but instead rerouted the power around the dead circuitry. Didn't find this out until my laptop completely died about a year after that. My graphics card fried and the motherboard fix came loose. When I emailed support to send the laptop in for repair I had the run around for about 2 weeks then ignored and forgotten. I got tired and decided to build myself a desktop. I personally won't purchase from them again.

XoticPC has a very good customer service for each of their productstuff they sell. I have 2 Years my laptop never had any issues with it.

Their communication is top notch and customer service is fast and helpful. The laptop is a beast and I'm looking forward to keeping it for many years. When it's finally ready to be replaced, I'll be back to XOTIC PC.

Terrible company. Ordered a laptop, and it still hadn't shipped a week later. Contacted customer service, and was told it was backordered, so I cancelled the order. XoticPC then had the nerve to charge me a cancellation fee for a backordered product!

Since I needed this system a little faster than I felt I could do the mods, I decided to order from Xotic, but I won't again. Took them a week to "process" my payment and might take up to 3 more weeks before I get it and the only thing changing is the memory from 16GB to 64GB. Should have saved time and money and just done the upgrade myself since I am an authorized dealer. For those who do not mod and build like me, not bad for a basic custom system, but go for an individual business if you want a sweet modified system with customized setups that won't take 1-2 months (more if you have it painted or vinyl).

Their customer service is quite good, and the range of customization is incredible, especially across the laptop lineup.

Lots of great laptops to choose from, people always ready to help & assist, and the customization is endless. I love it.

Overall visiting this site was a great experience with plenty of options to create a successful build. It was difficult at first to tell which parts were incompatible with the laptop build I was trying to create and had to start over at one point. Furthermore, by adding warranties and accessories I unfortunately went over my budget but, at least now I know how much I need to save before I buy my laptop.

Fantastic custom-built computers with great customer service. I bought a gaming laptop from them a year and a half ago. I had problems with one of the custom heat sinks coming loose and frying one of my hard drives. They were prompt with their fix and kept me informed throughout the process.

I bought 2 laptops from them. Overall, the quality was great and I was happy with what I paid for however; the customer service was not very good and talking with multiple representatives was frustrating as they would not be fully educated on my conversations with other reps.

They did not uphold some of the statements they made in their emails either. Purchase from them as their products are great but they might end up frustrating you.

I have bought three laptops from Xoticpc! I have loved each one of them. One was several years ago, and it was destroyed in an accident. The second is my current laptop, a Sager, and the third was for my brother, also a Sager.
They have incredible service, and are always flexible. Their policy of you are a lifetime customer, in terms of support, they have completely lived up to.
I will continue to refer them to people I know, and I will continue to buy from them.

All questions I've ever asked about Xotic's products have always been promptly responded to both on the site and on their Facebook page. They also offer a cash discount as well as a military or student discount. Their online customization model is one of a kind, and I haven't seen it's equivalent as far as ease of use and options. Been happy with XoticPc they have some awesome deals and have my PC running fast!

I'm gonna preface this with an explanation of what I consider four and five stars to mean. Five stars, to me, means it was crazy, scary perfect. What is worth five stars? Food that I make myself. My favorite drink when it's the right temperature and I'm around my favorite people. So for other people to get five stars from me is pretty unheard of.

XoticPC gets four stars. It's right under perfect.

I'm always anxious when it comes to computers, they give me a lot of happiness and they feel very important, so when I'm expecting one I get very impatient and as such I emailed them like every day asking for updates. Which they responded to very helpfully and patiently. They're a small company, so when I emailed them I'd get a response from usually the same one or two people, which I appreciate because you don't end up having to reexplain your situation over and over again.

I love their customizations. Their site design could be a little simpler, but that's largely nitpicking.

Since buying from them I've made use of their tech support several times over the course of the last few years - and they still help! Sometimes it takes hours to solve the problem, but they're with me the whole way.

The one beef I've ever had with them is their 'extra copper cooling' option during customization. I'd imagine they weld on long, hollow coppers pipes or something. Nah. Just coppers squares stuck to the existing piping with some heatsink adhesive. Which wouldn't be so bad, ghetto as it looked, if they wouldn't end up falling off over time anyway and jangling around the inside of the laptop. I ended up just prying off the remaining one or two to get it over with. Amateur work from an otherwise very professional company.

Everything else? They're great.

I was in the market for a laptop and was torn between so many choices. I researched my ideal specs and was ready to order, when all of a sudden the new pascal laptops came out. I had to start my search all over again. Luckily when I googled for these GTX 10XX series laptops, this company and another, had them ready to be sold. I chose to buy from this company since they had a lot more customization options to choose from. Although I ordered everything on my laptop stock, this was my first buy from them and wanted to test the waters.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: I did not have the pleasure of interacting with anyone or needed to do so. From the time the order was placed, built, and shipped, I was constantly kept updated via email every step along the way. I did leave a comment after purchase about their Norton guarantee and received feedback the next day.

SHIPPING: It took approximately 3 weeks to get my laptop. I ordered stock, no build rush and no rush shipping. (From past experiences, not with this company, rushing will not turn out well). It would have probably came earlier if it arrived at the local distributor earlier. It came in on a Saturday and Monday was a holiday. No big deal though.

PACKAGING: It came in a white box with their logo. The laptop and accessories were packed and cushioned neatly. There are no noticeable signs of damage.

EXPERIENCE: It was hassle free. I'm enjoying my laptop now and it is a beast! One thing I almost forgot to mention they have a lot of extras that came in with the laptop which is greatly appreciated. Most likely to return for a desktop or recommend them to friends.

Ordered a new gaming laptop from Xotic PC. Paid a fair price for the model I chose. Received the computer pretty quickly after my payment was processed. The laptops' fan is somewhat loud, but it is more than acceptable. I have not had any major issues with the computer.

Bought ASUS G75vw laptops customized from Australia, all good and they sorted postage problem quickly. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with them about 3 years ago. I somehow ended up resetting my computer after about 5 months of ownership and they were right there with me every step of the way to restore it.

I'm a repeat customer of XOTIC PC. They've yet to let me down- always shipping a perfectly working machine which has been tested to work. Prices are reasonable, and they usually pack in a few goodies too. Ship times, while not exactly Amazon Prime, are fine- personally I prefer to know the machine is not going to arrive DOA than to get it in a hurry and find out myself that it has problems. I recommend this vendor, especially if you're looking for a custom laptop or one of the more esoteric brands that don't sell in big box stores.

I needed a beast of a laptop, and XOTIC PC delivered. I'm grateful to XOTIC PC for the Sager NP5672 they built for me. I would not have completed my Master thesis without it. It hits a homer with every simulation I throw to it, and it runs my virtual reality experiments with zero complains. If you are a graduate student in Science or Engineering, and you are looking for power, consider building a laptop with XOTIC PC. Every millisecond you use it will be worth every penny.

Faultless, I finally decided that I needed to buy a laptop early this year that actually held up to my standards instead of just barely scraping at them, I'm usually replacing a laptop every year.

Not with this one! Absolutely no problems at all, they're a brilliant team to talk to through the process and their customer support and aftersales is fantastic, will be coming back to XoticPC without a doubt next time I fancy a new rig!

Highly recommend them, being able to build your laptop from top to bottom entirely down to your own specification is fantastic, I'd never heard of Sager before I came to these guys but now I hold them very very highly.

I usually don't write reviews for anything, but for XOPTIC PC, they really need it, because people need to know how good they are. Googling xoticpc and seeing it has a 2.7 rating just breaks my heart. (KEEP IN MIND) If your on here looking for some type of grounds on whether or not you should do business with this company. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS, yes an order from xotic pc can take up to 1 month before it can be delivered to you, but that's only if you have added customization and didn't opt with the "Rush Billing" option (which is $49). Any other regular order opt with free shipping should be delivered to you withing 5-7 business days. When I made my purchase from xotic pc it was a customized gaming laptop for the price of $1,218. I made this purchase in December 2 days before Christmas and I received it January 29th. It took exactly 1month and 6 days for it to arrive at my door step, but when it did I was truly happy.Yes it brained my patience, but the fact that it was the only place I could've find exactly what I was looking for in precised detail made the wait worth while. Thank You XOTIC PC.

Bought an Asus Gaming laptop ages ago and still remember it as one the smoothest online transactions. I started off by picking a non-special build and right before checkout, customer service pointed me over to a special build. It saved me money and increased specs of the laptop. When people ask me where to get a gaming rig, I refer them to Xotic PC. Glad they are have been around for a long time.

PC Price was amazingly good value compared to similar products. Customs (from US/Canada) was not included so faced a quite large fee on top of the price of the laptop/delivery. Laptop is perfect runs extremely well and had no problems with it to date! Would definitely recommend.

Still going strong years later, even when I would email support months and years later with questions about driver-level software and internals I would still get prompt responses. This is the first custom Laptop I've ever had built. I attempted to have one built by another "well-known" company (rhymes with Hyper Flower PC...), and to my surprise, I had to cancel the order within HOURS of ordering my spec because they didn't have the machine they sold me and would need to wait 3 weeks before they could get something comparable! That's when I found XOTCIPC. XOTICPC was bar-none the best choice! They are a reputable builder with tons of knowledge and most important - EPIC customer service! I opted for a rush build and had the machine within the week! Since then I've had friends rave over my rig and ended up ordering their own machines! Best decision ever! Thanks XOTICPC!

With Xotic pc as a service, I definitly reccomend them. They are a reputable brand, and the work they put into their builds is clear. The process was not the fastest without a rushed build, but I ordered it early so that was not an issue. The one time I called in, customer service was patient and helpful. Overall it is a great reseller to buy from. The only con is a lack of budget peripherals to add to the order.
