Several topics covered in either or both the revie...

Several topics covered in either or both the review or quiz sections are not covered in the main study sections. How are you supposed to answer questions when the subject matter has not been discussed? Can it really be called "review" when material is presented in short form and for the first time?

Editing for the slides is abysmal at best. There are MANY punctuation errors, bullets in the review text are used poorly leading to confusion.

Customer service is god awful. You get a teenager with no personable skills using slang and has no clue on the process. If you try and leave a message the same rude teenager calls back with the same lack of information. After you figure out you will get nowhere with the customer support the actual testing is the same, freezes on each test, does not record hours logged. Anyone with issues should report this company to the dept. of insurance for fraud

the course was great. very few questions on the exam were a surprise after reviewing the hundreds of practice questions that the course offers. passed with no problem on my first try. i would recommend it.

Course wasn't too bad, material was presented well. My complaint stems from the fact that you pay $200 for 30 days of access to the material. I covered all the material and had to wait to schedule my exam, went back on the site to take the practice exams that I PAID FOR WITH THE COURSE, and I was unable to access them. I am glad I printed off the cliff notes! I am sure it doesn't matter to some people but for those of us that like to get what we paid for, Xcel doesn't deliver.

As an owner of an agency I use xcel for all my new agents. This is not the first company that I have used for pre-licensing needs but they will be the last one I ever use. Great staff, support, software, and training. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!!

Every single time you try to call it tells you to leave a voicemail what is the point of having a number to call for customer service if no one ever answers I don't understand you have two different numbers for us to call but it goes straight to voicemail no matter what I tried calling all day Monday all day Tuesday at different times and nothing still works I even considered the different time zones and waited certain times to call thanks for nothing

Customer service impossible to reach, they just put you on hold for hours or a recording comes out and tell you that they will call you but never do. Maybe is so you have to pay the $ 39.00 to extend your time on the test.

I used this for my 2-15 and passed the exam first time with an 85%. Very happy about that. I give a 4 star for now cause im doing my series 6 now through them and Ive found several mistakes but i will give 5 stars if i pass the first time again. Other then a couple mistakes the business themselves are great and i can call and they will answer their mistake correctly. I look forward to passing this exam and then coming back for my series 7 and any further testing i do.

Diverted from original subscription due to business demand; signed up for second subscription and started the course again. After 2nd day the sys would not accept my PW. Called Tech Support - no answer, left message but no call back. "Forgot PW email reset" procedure was non-responsive. Called the next day with same results for phone and reset. Called HQ, left "Urgent" message but no response.
I assume they are still in business since they processed my payment immediately. The course is poorly written with many grammatical errors (6 grade level) however, the information provided does seem salient.
Make sure these folks are still in business before you subscribe.

I used xcel or my Florida life insurance prelicensing course and really enjoyed my experience! The course is very comprehensive and appeals to all learning styles and the chapter exams were very helpful. I also took the state exam simulator test and found it to be very similar to the actual state exam. For a professional pre-licensing program, my only suggestion is to edit content for the numerous typos and spelling errors.

Watching a 38 minute soul sucking video all over again because I got up to make a call after the video was over and didn t press save and exit. You re telling me with all of the technology that the system can t automatically save your progress while watching a 38 minute video? I even filled out their little activity check during the video. If they don t have the IT then they should break the video up into sections with questions. I m paying for this service and not to stare at a soul sucking video I ve already watched for the next 38 minutes.

They are very professional. They worked with me like a teacher. At first I didn't understand how it worked. You must go through all of the modules and listen to the videos. When you finish all of the modules, you will get 3 cram test that will review what you learned from all the modules. You must complete each cram test with am 85 average. If not you will have to go back until you make the 85. Take all 3 cram test then you should be ready to take the exam. I went 2 times. The first time I failed 4 points. The next time I failed 1 point. Now I am studying the correct way. I finally learned how the testing works with this site. I hope this will help. I will highly recommend this company to anyone as far as a practicing through Xcel.

The software is very poorly designed. My course kept lagging and I couldn't log in very often. The videos also lagged extremely bad where it took me over an hour to play a 10 minute video. (This was not due to poor internet connection. I checked other websites and was able to play videos with ease) ... I was planning on having this done yesterday, but it doesn't look like that will happen. My exam is tomorrow and I won't be able to get this course done due to my inability to access the material. With the current pandemic, who knows the next time I'll be able to take the insurance licensing exam. This was the only date available for months.

Unfortunately I cannot give Xceltesting Solutions a 1/2 star rating. I signed up for the course, had to extend, and now that I've paid $39.99 to extend, it's not letting me in the system at all. "You've extended your course". Really? I know that. And the website says 24 hour support yet there is an "After Hours" message on the voicemail.

I took Tennessee Accidental and Health insurance exam today , and I passed first try. Xcel had very valuable information, I read the chapters only once , took the quizzes and made sure I know all of them, then I took the final. They have a prep section , where chapters are summarized , I read those and practiced taking quizzes over and over again, on the actual state test I'll say 40% was questions from the quizzes I practiced , the rest I really had to work my brain, to guess the best answer based on what I've learned from the class material. My advice try understanding what you're reading , not just memorizing , that's what helped me pass. Also pay special attention to the summary videos. Good luck !
