Great location....access to all key Downtown and Harbor stuff.
The hotel was nice but the rooms were very small it was like staying in a shoebox.
Can I give this place 0 stars? I've stayed at shadier places, but I've never had an experience this bad. Not only do I have a view of the back door to the restaurant right outside my window, I'm near what must be the hotel laundry that runs all night. The staff was in the hall and loud all night long. People were outside my window before 5 in the morning. I tried to change rooms, but my employer won't pay the absurd upgrade fee. For almost $200 a night, I expect better.
Great views on the waterfront. Mostly designed for the business type.
Quick easy and good service, also in front of the bay at Harbor dr. Only 5 minutes from the airport, the truck to the airport every 20 minutes but if you call the taxi it arrives in just two minutes, very pleasant experience
Just completed my final stay at this hotel. Very disappointing. The room had very poor wifi connections (constant disruptions and very slow) so it was impossible to get any work done. Secondly, the television was old and outdated and had very few channels. Since the wifi was slow, you could not stream your own entertainment. Finally, room service. The first night I placed the early breakfast request tag on my door the night before. It was never picked up. I called room service and they didn't answer or call back. Finally had to call the desk. The same thing happened the other three mornings. The in room coffee is nasty and there are no close coffee shops. I've relied on this hotel as my go to hotel in San Diego. Not any more. I'll stay elsewhere. A colleague recommended the Sofia downtown.
Hotel was great, beautiful view from the room and clean rooms! Close enough to walk to the USS midway. Parking was horrific for $29 a day rarely was able to even find a spot! Strongly suggest the beach hut deli, also close enough to walk to!
Awesome location: by the harbor with options of the views of the harbor or the city. Both are really nice views, by the way.
There are many restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. There is a restaurant that does deliver to the hotel. Due to COVID-19, they are unable to deliver to the rooms but they will meet you in the lobby of the hotel instead.
Customer service was great: checking in was quick and no hassle. Direction to parking lot was easy and quick.
The room was clean including a mini refrigerator in the room, it was really convenient.
I recommend this hotel for all who is visiting San Diego!
Great view, comfy bed and quiet. I slept very well.
With in walking distance of lots of places...Little Italy, Gaslight District,...
The customers service is amazing, they are extremely kind and helpful here the view of the bay is beautiful. Watching the sunset over the ocean was beautiful.
Amazing views of the bay, downsides are that internet and parking are slightly expensive.
Great view & location, but Wi-Fi was terrible (unusable), no ventilation in bathrooms, no towel rods, not enough drawers/closets. But the worst was the parking situation: **ridiculous**. Half of the parking spots were compact, and even the non-compact spots were undersized. Several times during my stay there were no spots available anywhere, and the parking attendant told me to park in a red zone.
This is for the claim Jumpers attached to the restaurant. Hostess was rude. Waiter was excellent. Other patrons we're not that kind to children.
Spent two nights here, before and after a cruise. Good rooms, helpful staff, very short walk to/from the dock.
Clean and hospitable. Staff is knowledable about surrounding area and the veiws are great with the right room... if you are going for a conference book early because it fills up early
Hotel very well located with a beautiful view of the bay for rooms with sea view or down town. Very clean, quiet, well equipped .. Free shuttles between the airport and the hotel .. or for some tourist points. Two restituants in the hotel ideal for breakfast or evening meal ..
OMG!! Just when I've thought I've seen nice Hotels!!. This place is absolutely beautiful and spacious!!.. The rooms where extremely clean and neat!. I could spend weeks there just relaxing and exploring the town !!. " I Loved It ".
We ate at the claim jumper... Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was fantastic. Only slight inconvenience was the parking, would definitely return!
The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were very nice, and each room had a balcony, which was neat. We were right on the bay, and got to go running by the ocean in the mornings!
To me customer service is everything. The front desk is very accommodating and helpful, it's the only reason they getting two stars. My problem is with the concerige, just very rude and talked down to me like I was child.
Very nice staff. Got a room with the bay view. It was beautiful
Very nice place to stay its clean and very hospitable
Great place to stay.... Awesome view from tower 3 bayside balcony.
Great location, rooms are decent but not great for the price !!!
Not enough light in the room. In the shower it doesnt give me enough roon to place my products where i can reach it easily. Nice bed. Nice staff.
Great location. Walking distance to all whale watching and boat tours, USS Midway, Fish Market. Has a Claim Jumpers and Ruth's Chris on the property, a Del Friscos a block away. Great views on either side(either bay or city.)
Loved my rooms harbour and seaview closeup .hotel is beside the harbour .
Our WiFi didn't work and in the morning when we woke up the TV wasn't working. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. We had a great view of the city and enjoyed being walking distance from many restaurants and the maritime museum.
Was only there to shower/ grab a quick snack. Room seemed nice as well. Great overall experience
Great location, clean room and comfortable bed, but the front desk staff and house cleaning we're not friendly or helpful.
The room was very small and never got cool! The staff was less than helpful, we were first time travels to the area and the staff couldn't help us with anywhere good to eat except a place next door that charged $13 for an average breakfast and was affiliated with the hotel. We asked about a good place to eat in Little Italy which is just a few blocks north of the hotel and the staff couldn't give us any suggestions on where to eat. The pool was cold and small. I've stayed at better $80 dollar hotels, with a better pool, staff, and room. The only reason I am giving them them 1 star is the hotel was clean and it was close to some of the things we wanted to see. The shuttle only goes to the zoo at 9, 11 and 4.
Very clean and well equipped rooms. Professional staff. Close to many nice spots and free shuttles to/from airport.
Friendly staff. Everything walking distance. One thing I didn't like was that balconies had no dividers.
Went to claim jumper and the food was edible. Not that good. The room was fine. One bed. Not what was posted online however. Service was otherwise great
Good hotel. Mislead by our room description and got a pull out sofa instead of the king bed we booked on hotel tonight. Overall very nice room but the "bed" was less than comfortable and the parking staff ignored us for far too long before coming up to ask if we wanted to valet. Also got charged for waters we didn't drink but they removed at checkout after we brought up the error.
Amazing Location and the view is wonderful! I celebrated my Birthday and I must say it will be hard to top this extraordinary stay! The manager, Brad, exemplifies customer service. He takes to heart Wyndham's .statement, "Let us make your time in San Diego as Relaxing as possible" to heart and makes it happen! Joe in Reservations is Great. Be sure to get a room with a Bay View! This is the place to stay in San Diego!!!
The valet and Bell service was excellent. The front desk staff were patient and welcoming. A valet actually went out of his way to help us out even after he was supposed to be off shift. I definitely recommend this hotel. Request a room that faces the bay because it is a nice view.
Good location, right across from the maritime museum, good restaurant.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Bed was very comfortable and service was great. After reaching my next destination, I realized I had left my jewelry box in the room. Panic! We called immediately and it had already been turned in. We are very grateful for wonderful and honest staff members.
Company put us up here and had issues all around. One of us had no hot water, my window never shut leading to endless wind. Antiquated internet setup made it impossible to get work done in my room.
Very nice staff, great location and we had a beautiful room with an amazing view. I would however recommend being vigilant with the birds and not leaving the patio door open unless you're in the room. We did hear our neighbor scream that there was a seagull in her room.
Great location. Renovated rooms that are good but not great. Good amenities. Friendly staff and they give out free toothpaste.
Excellent hotel. Very clean and close to Little Italy, The Fish Market and Gaslamp Quarter.
Definitely a nice place to stay and it's clean, I wish there was a hottub bit other than that it's good!
Right on the bay! Parking is available on the streets didnt have to pay for valet at all. Perfect location. Rooms were general!
Prerty nice place with good views all the way around. Very close to the bay, the star of India and Seaport village.
Parking was a little far but otherwise wonderful hotel and staff
Wyndham has purchased too many distressed properties and done little to upgrade them to fit the Wyndham name, priced too high as well
Wonderful hotel with great views of the city or water front. Very nice rooms and the bed is fabulous. Staff was great as well. Parking is expense.
Great location with beautiful views but...parking is $35 a night and getting to and from your car is a bit difficult. I would recommend valet parking but if self parking is $35 I can only imagine valet. Room is nice nothing fancy comes with a refrigerator but no microwave. Best part is the balcony, we got the city view but the bay is right across the street.
No air-conditioning and generally not welcoming. Good location though
The only restaurant in the hotel is The Claim Jumper which isn't great. Other than that it's very close to the water and walking distance to Little Italy and downtown. Very courteous and helpful staff
Service was good, rooms were great bed was a little small.
Nice, clean hotel with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. It's decor is dated, but the only complaint to date is their wireless. The connection is strong for awhile, and then you'll lose connection to their WAP. They should invest in updating or increasing their wireless capability. Overall it's a very nice hotel with a great view of the Bay and San Diego.
Excellent service and very good accommodations great view on the bay easy access to San Diego.
Hotel is fairly close to the bay and has a bayside view. It is a 30 minute walk to the convention centet and the gaslamp district. It is also attached to a claim jumper. Room is clean and if you get the bayside view room very nice. It has an attached balcony as well. Service is ok but nothing stellar.
Great location, close to boats to Coronado, seaport village and uss Midway as well as downtown and public transport.
*edit: there were a few good things. The view of the city is great and I love that they have Bumble and Bumble products.
Good location, good size rooms. Tired building and lot tho.
Amazing location, very clean room, and comfy beds. About 10 min away from the airport and right across from the harbor walkway, I could see the USS Midway and the Star of India from my hotel room. I paid a little extra for a room with a view of the bay and it was worth it. My room had a balcony with a couple of chairs and it was nice to take in the fresh ocean breeze and enjoy the views. In addition, there's a Ruth Chris's Steakhoue in the courtyard and a Claim Jumpers in right off of the hotel lobby. Not a single complaint from me.
Conveniently located near the airport
Facilities and various good hotels

Their beds are the most comfortable I could imagine! Multiple gyms. A fantastic pool. Multiple restaurants. A superior stay - right in the middle of plenty to see!
Great location and clean rooms. Unfortunately, the sound insulation is terrible for the room we stayed in.
Customer service not great. The bayside view was nonexistant. I dont recommend for a vacation stay, probably sufficient for business stay.
Very nice hotel in a very convenient and good spot. The room was ok, typical king size bed with a fantastic view. Only downfall was the $100+ in taxes and addons not advertised in the price until checkout. Not sure if I'd spend the money to stay there again with the various hotels in the immediate area.
I ate at a meal at the hotel and it was quite delightful
Our shuttle driver missed picking us up at the airport and we had to call him back. The room's A/C was not working- only blowing out hot air, so we slept with the balcony door open. The front desk staff was nice. Rooms are beautiful and well prepared.
