Love the renovations. Great location near shopping and restaurants. Very safe area

Had a nice time. Visited in the middle of renovations and updating.

The lobby of the hotel was nice. The staff at front desk was unprofessional and talking and yelling at other staff in front of guests. The rooms were outdated and in bad need of repair. The shower and bathroom were moldy and dirty. The a/c unit was loud and carpet was damp. Walls had patches on them and water stains on the ceiling. Not a good experience at all.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Seems to be going through some renovation. Some areas were nice and updated. Others, not so much.

Nice business stay. Always kind of a pain to get checked in, probably a business deal through a lodging center problem? It is fairly updated and modern, staff are very helpful, a few quirks here and there but always friendly and approachable. Lots of weddings and the like when I stay there, but no problems so far. The ac is always on in advance which is a huge deal coming into a cool room after blasting humidity and heat. Nice bar, fair food, good staff.

No free breakfast, no ice machine? And no laundry... But it's a nice hotel and it's clean.

This place is Horrible. The food was bad and took an hour then the chicken was burned.

Hotel was renovated, but not well. The paint job wasn't great, but worse was the A/C not working well in the humid climate. The hotel looked online like it would be comfortable, but the next door room was taped off like it was being bug bombed, could have just been renovations, I suppose, but also my room had a sickly ladies cologne smell, too. Also I stepped into the elevator and the floor was soaking wet, no sign of Wet Floor, I almost fell over from slipping, I'm glad they were cleaning, but they could have been more careful and considerate of their guests. Just too many criticisms to feel comfortable giving a good review.

Nothing works right (internet, elevators, and u might get lucky and get a key card that can work 4 a full day.

Well, let's start with the entrance. As I approached the with my 3 bags, I struggle to get through the door because the is no automatic or revolving doors. Awful! Mold in some rooms - to the point that as Iwalked down the halls I noticed some doors were taped closed. Rooms have wet carpeting from leaking ceilings. Insects... coack roaches in the bathroom. My room's telephone was not working at all. Staff.. refrigerator in my room had leftover food from a previous guest. I was there for my family reunion and room cleaner ask if she can come in to eat. Family member report that they were assigned to rooms the were already occupied. The place is in desperate need of new, better management.

One of my top choices to stay at in the Shreveport area. Come check this hotel out its clean and very attractive great atmosphere great staff

Very disgusting rooms!! The sheets had not been changed when I arrived, they were dirty. There was opened bottles and packages of soap and everything metal in the room was rusted! The worst part.. BED BUGS!!! When I explained that the soaps were opened and room wasn t cleaned I was asked if I needed new soap, when I mentioned there was dirty sheets she asked if I needed clean sheets to put on it. I DO NOT WORK HERE AND WILL NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS! I paid for a clean room. When bed bugs were mentioned, she just brushed it off. By far the nastiest hotel I ve ever stayed in!

Third party booking through my company provided me with a registration confirmation. Got here after working a 16 hour day. I was scheduled to go home but worked way late so I needed to stay. Lady at the front desk had no desire to assist me in any way. I stay in hotels for a living and this was by FAR the worst service I have ever had. I asked if the rooms had microwaves, she said some do so I requested one. After an hour of her basically telling me "tough s#&$", the third party travel company called and finally got me a room. I had gone to the store for some food and clothes for tomorrow, toothbrush etc. When I finally got my room, there was no microwave. Called the front desk immediately and once again the worst interaction I have ever had continued. Ended with me hanging up on her and throwing my food away as it was frozen dinners. Tried to take a shower. Almost no hot water. Tried to brush my teeth, faucet leaked a large amount of water all over the counter. So as you can tell it's a really nice place. I will NEVER stay at any Wyndham property again for as long as I live and the useless lady on shift should be terminated and replaced with a bag of sand.

They were remodeling but the stay was good please with it

Meeting room seating was very uncomfortable. Food served was ice cold burritos, the worst I have ever eaten, oranges served had no way of being pelled.

When I checked in my room, one of the beds was still dirty. Had to call the front desk to come and change the bed. A lady came and changed the bed and she mentioned that she needed to hurry up because if they find out who did not change the bed after the previous check out, that person will lose their job. Also, the power went out whi check caused everything to cut off for a couple of hours.

Overall not to bad. The first room we received was already occupied. Then the second room we received was a room that was already reserved to us. But finally after the 3rd attempt we got a room and free breakfast. The beds were comfortable but the AC was a little warm. Breakfast was fine considering it was free but would not pay the $8.95 for it.
Overall the place was easy to find and even though there were mistakes made the staff was friendly and helpful.

Total dump! The website says it s been remodeled but the rooms are old and dirty. Customer service is mediocre. Our fridge didn t work well. No vending machines or convenience store. One of our beds had been peed on by a previous guest but housekeeping had only changed the sheets. The odor was aweful. There was an enormous pee stain on the mattress. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night. Don t waste your money.

Stayed one night. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was pleasant, and the fitness center had all the equipment and space I needed.

Checked in, went to the room to find someone else already checked in the same room we were assigned, went to the desk to find out they are fully booked after we had a block of rooms set for our team. They gave us another room where the dresser drawers were broken and hanging sideways, to go to another room that is dirty.

Rooms we're clean and the hotel staff we're helpful. The shuttle picked me up from the airport and dropped me off the next day at my place if work for that day.

The staff were very friendly and I loved the fact that as soon as you walk in it has a very fresh clean clothes smell. Our room was spacious and nice. My only problem was when we went into our room the bathroom smelled like someone had just taken a slam in the bathroom. The rest of everything was ok but that bathroom was clean but a definite poop smell. Thank god I bring bathroom spray

I reserved two rooms about two weeks in advance. When we arrived at 3:15 (15 minutes after check in supposedly began), we were given two rooms. When we arrived at the first room, the door was propped open, and it was clearly in the middle of being cleaned. We headed to the second room - it was locked but also in the process of being cleaned. We headed back to the front desk, where we were given two more rooms. They were both also in the process of being cleaned. We returned again to the front desk, where there was a long line. Many others were having the same problem we were having. The front desk worker told us he couldn't reach a manager. We told them we were leaving to give them a chance to straighten it out, and we went to eat. When we returned two hours later, one of our rooms was ready, but the second room was, again, in the process of being cleaned. Finally, six rooms and hours later, we were given a clean room. I called corporate to complain during our two hours away from the hotel, and they said they would follow up with me this week. They have not followed up.

Other than that, I guess the room was fine. There are half-finished renovation projects throughout the hotel, but at least they're trying to improve. I will say the continental breakfast was the best I've ever seen.

I would not return, nor will I visit any Wyndham again soon.

From what I saw at the 2016 caucus, it's lovely. I didn't have a chance to meet any of the staff but the bar looked tempting.

This is the most nastiest place I have ever seen. There's mold in the rooms, holes in the walls and ceilings, furniture is falling apart. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if there wasn't any place else. Sleeping in my car is better.

Beds are the best. Don't think I've ever slept in a bed this comfortable in a hotel. Only downfall is there is no free breakfast

THIS HOTEL, IS WONDERFUL, IT'S ALSO IN A GREAT LOCATION AS WELL.. THE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO MAKING THIS STAY VERY COMFORTABLE TO MY HUSBAND AND I... WE, ACTUALLY LOVED THIS PLACE, AND WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BOOKING AGAIN... OH, AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING GREAT STAFF!!!!

The good : Very comfortable beds, nice lounge and bar area, close proximity to pretty much everything, very reasonable rates.

The bad : No complementary breakfast, No guest laundry facility, frequently absent front desk staff, very overpriced restaurant in bar area, asking for an extra towel requires a visit from housekeeping (the front desk receptionist, if she's at her post, will not give you one.)... The list goes on.

Overall : Find a Holiday Inn... You'll like it better.

Doesn t know how to check people into a room. Keys and door locks don t work properly. Worked all day and drove 7 hours to get here. Arrived at midnight. I have to work here at 6:00AM. keys didn t work and I had to walk back down to the desk 5 times before she put me in a new room.

Went here for a function in the ballroom. The waitstaff was not attentive and many people were thirsty by the end of dinner because nobody was refilling drinks. The space was nice and I would give more stars if the staff was better trained.

First was an ID badge and kids necklace under a pillow (didn't get cleaned) second was no hot water barely warm with no pressure and the last guest soap was still on the sink

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. No sound proofing between the walls, so I heard every random noise that happened. Did not sleep well

This hotel really doesn t deserve any stars. My room was dirty. Someone s left over food was left in the fridge and trash all in the drawers. But hey I found some money in the room. The ONLY reason I m putting any stars on here is bc the bartender. He s amazing. The hotel doesn t give him much to work with but he managed to work with what he had. He deserves all the stars

Easy to find, comfortable rooms, maybe have different types of pillows

Hotel was nice and presentable. The room that I occupied was poorly covered up, meaning the paint on the walls and ceilings could have been better and also the patch work. Customer service was great, I checked in at a later time. Other experience at the hotel was okay.

I was there for a business meeting. It was nice with plenty of free parking.

The room was dirty. There was hair in the bathroom. When we walked in there wasn't any screws in the top hinge. How can someone clean the room and not notice that?

Overall, the rooms were nice. Minor cosmetic repairs need to be done. It was difficult to find staff when I needed assistance. Still a satisfactory stay and I will most likely stay again.

My overnight stay at the Wyndham Garden Shreveport was Exceptional! After a long drive from New Orleans to Dallas we stopped in Shreveport at this hotel. First off, it is in a well lit area which is very important to me, the grounds and hotel in itself was very neat and clean, the manager and staff were amazing! My room was modern and I had the best sleep. Also, I had complementary breakfast the next morning and it was great. Kudos to you and your staff!

The hotel is badly in need of updating. They should also be a little bit more diligent about the rampant weed smoking. Not that I'm against legalizing weed, it just stunk!

Nice hotel, but majority of all Wyndham Garden Suites are nice. They were doing major construction, but were able to accommodate all visitors.

Smoke detector was broken, shower didn't drain properly so I would be standing in ankle deep water by the end of my shower.

Terrible experience!! First off I believe when there is a big event in town the hotel should double up on staff at the front desk. We waited an hour in line just to check in, because there was only one to two people working at the front desk, and one was on the phone majority of the time not helping customers.

Our room was 625. It was so hot up there, it was pretty much unbearable. Then we get to looking around the room where we noticed mold on the bottom of the refrigerator, and about a foot and a half water mark damage on the dresser, it was obviously on the bottom floor during the recent flood and they just moved it up to the 6th floor thinking no one would notice. I would not recommend this hotel stay to anyone!!

This Wyndham Gardens hotel is horrible for what they charge for a room. The room stink,bed sheets wasn't clean,the bathroom was nasty,they didn't have extra nothing...bed sheets,towels,etc...The lady at the front was very rude and inconsiderate and nobody would answer the phone had to keep walking down for stuff. I should have known something was up because when my family and I got there they gave us a room but people was in it. So,we had to wait for one to be clean but no cleaning...They need to take their business more serious than what they do.

My daughter had a leadership conference this weekend at this hotel. The room wasn't clean and the bathroom leaked water. They went to their last conference session that morning way before checkout and came back to find the bags removed and beds stripped. The air conditioning wasn't functional. The front desk was extremely rude. Not a hotel anyone should ever recommend! Don't do it!

Checked in Saturday off top fridge not working called front desk her response was u staying two nights are one. What does that mean if I'm being charged for something u can't provide isn't fair to me. Having a newborn baby her milk requires keeping milk refrigeratedadvised her if that also. Her next response was maintenance will check it tomorrow we'll tomorrow never came I guess. Called Expedia next day when they called they brung one right that minute. So yes had to go buy cooler at Walmart not knowing ice machine didn't work only on first floor so that was a bust went back to buy electric cooler 60.00. Not to speak on when I looked out window and around it so nasty u can't even see out of it. Just view picture never in my life will I stay at any motel tied to this franchise and loud music elevator has tempature of summer weather inside of it. Room roof around window leaking instead of fixing leak they painted over mold. All these issues and I'm still waiting on manager to come in and resolve these issues guess she works from home. Looking at good reviews on here they gotta be paid for by people they know. Ohh yeah if u want privacy forget about it door gap is so big u can hear conversations from down the hall if someone's talking. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. Ruined holiday visit ever pain 258.00 for mysery

5 star for Tronn, best bartender In Shreveport! We love that guy!

Not clean. Even smells dirty. Sounds travel easily through walls and doors. You can pretty much hear everything. Needs updating very badly. There were several hairs and a hole in the bathtub. Also hair stuck to the bathroom door. I gave 2 stars because of its great location. But will never stay here again.

First the positives with this hotel: It seems to be in a decent area of town. There's a Whole Foods across the street and a nice Kroger around the corner. There's a breakfast joint across the street, and a strip mall in an adjoining parking lot (100 yard walk with no street crossing) that has a donut place, taco place, japanese place, and a pizza joint. I found the staff to be very helpful and polite. When I was checking in, a man was given the wrong room, and the lady working at the front desk did a great job handling the situation. The furniture and bedding in my room was just about brand new. The Wi-Fi was also free and worked well.

Now the bad: This place shows a lot of wear and tear. It's not dirty, just heavily trafficked and banged up. Everywhere I looked I could see some indica of wear: A broken tile, a big mark on the wall, a hole in the ceiling, chipped paint and frayed carpet. In the room they gave me, there was water damage above the window and some of the popcorn ceiling had flaked off and fell on top of the air conditioner. They also had the wrong toilet seat on the toilet. It had a long bowl, but they had a round seat on it. The ice machine on the first, second, and third floor didn't work. There are only two bath towels provided which is okay for me because I was traveling alone but if you were traveling with a companion, you'd be fighting over those two towels. The staff neglected to inform me or anyone else who was checking in at the time of the numbered entrances. The building has multiple, numbered exterior entrances with elevators. If you have trouble getting around, I suggest you figure out where that entrance is or you're going to be walking quite a bit to get to your room. It is a very large hotel with very long corridors. I infer from what I saw that this hotel is currently owned and operated by someone who is trying to ring whatever economic life is left in this property with minimal capital investment or perhaps the owner is struggling to amass enough capital to make the repairs and improvements necessary. That may not be the case, but that is the impression I took away from my brief stay. Overall, I don't have many complaints because I stayed there one night for $79. It was clean enough and the location was good. My impression of the area around the hotel was that it was a wealthy neighborhood that was in somewhat of a state of decline with some marginal areas around it. I'd say I got what I paid for or perhaps actually came out of it ahead. It was a pleasant stay.

Very outdated, customer service is very horrible, the hotel smelled of mildew, where we checked in looked to be in a different building because it looks nice where you pay but where you stay, just ridiculous! It was very cold when we went and our heat did not work, we tried to get a new room but they were all "booked", we will never be back here!

Rooms weren't renovated. Vending machines empty. Mirrors dirty. Just a mediocre experience for $100/night.

The hotel is very dated. The elevator ride is quite rough and slow. The room had chipped ceiling patches, sloppy painted walls, rusted fixtures in the bathroom, air conditioning was super loud, no lamp on one side of the bed, took too long to get hot water to run. The water also had a strong smell. The walls are seemingly paper thin. I could hear every word of my neighbors conversation. Upon arrival the front desk checkin appears nice and the entry way carpet is nice. But when you get to the hotel rooms it like you are in a totally different hotel. The reception building and the main hotel seem to be two different buildings that were fused together. A newly renovated reception and an old hotel room section. This hotel is 1 star at best. The one star is for the bed which was comfortable.

Relaxed uncrowded bar. Nice place to have an easy hang out with friends

Shuttle driver, lady at front desk, website, and room info booklet stated they could shuttle us 5 miles. So we were dropped off and then told to call when ready for pickup. I stood outside for over 45 minutes at 230 in the morning because the moron at the front desk told me that they wouldnt pick me up. That they wouldnt do more than 3 miles. Hello retards! YOU DROPPED ME OFF! So i had to pay for a cab. Then, the bathroom was gross and the a/c was busted so i couldnt sleep at all. Never. Again.

Staff was very friendly every morning the gm was down stairs and spoke to my kids she even remembered the day before why my daughter was upset. The sales director is also awesome she made sure our stay there was great. We had been there for a while because our house flooded . I also decide one night to have a drink at the bar and the bartender billy was working I told him I hate the taste of liquor so make where I can t taste it. This was the first time I had drink and it s made perfect for me that bar is well kept secret

It was good a bit warm in the hotel considering it was humid out but overall good

You can tell that it used to be really pretty, but building management lacks. However the service was excellent.

The beds sleep well and linens are clean. The staff are not very friendly. The water tastes and smells horrible. Room service is forgetful and unfriendly. The pool hours are 6am -10pm but the pool gate was chained and padlocked at 8:30am. So much for morning swimming before checkout. The air conditioning is terrible as well.

If you are looking for a clean, safe environment. Do NOT stay at this hotel. It's a dump! Do not be deceived as it is not part of the Wyndham chain. This hotel needs an extreme make-over. The carpet is filthy, the tub was dirty, the breakfast buffet looked like it was yesterday's leftovers, the parking lot needs better lightening, signage was left hanging on the handrail of the elevator. 1 star because the staff was friendly.
