From the front desk staff to the kitchen staff, just an awesome experience. My children and I were visiting family and didn't realize there was a Pink concert in town. We went everywhere until finally I went online and found this lovely place. Booked it and got signed up for Wyndham Rewards (sweet!) And then was able to check in. The wonderful woman at the front desk knew it was late (we had driven over 10hrs and counting)and set our room up for check out at noon. The shower, amazing! The bed, Heaven! And the "Continental Breakfast"? Outta this world! Very professional servers and the food..I haven't had grits like that in a long time. Everything and everyone was a just an on time blessing!

Horrible customer service, front desk clerk not friendly never smiled. She was rude to her employees as well. The quality of the room was great (other than TV had zero channels due to a surge). The front desk clerk charged me twice for my room and when confronted she never took accountability for her actions nor apologized. She was rude the whole time as if I was lying about being charged. Wyndham hotels cater to their customers and I know they do everything to ensure good quality stay and service, but for this one they may need to do a routine check on their employees and ensure they are doing their jobs accordingly and to a high expectations of their customers. Front desk clerk said the accounting office won t be in until Monday so I can t get a refund. I feel like they didn t wait on their payment from me so why should I wait for my money. I was a bit suspicious because when she ran my card the first time it printed a receipt she had me sign it then came back and said it didn t go through and reran and had me sign the second receipt and she took the first one crumpled it up and threw it away. So I checked my account and sure enough she charged me twice. The room we were in the TV was out, when I called about it the maintenance guy came and said they knew these rooms didn t have TV service. That s horrible at least tell the customers or give a discount for not getting full quality. But overall clean room and comfy beds. But that credit goes to housekeeping whom the front desk clerk was being rude too.

Staff was awesome very nice and made my kids feel welcome. Food at restaurant was awesome my waiter mr.jay made sure to take the kids orders first so they wouldnt fuss. They had a event going on so I was able to see the staff tend to everyone I even met the Sales Director Mrs.Shannon and she ask if we were enjoying our stay and asked is there anything she could do for us. Overall a great stay I will be back

I'm giving this hotel a 2 because it isn't at all what they advertise. When we first arrived we found out that they don't really have a bar and grill. They have no liquor license, but in the book about the hotel that's in the room has it on the menu! We walk into our room to find a broken dresser, a hairball on one of the beds, stains all over the bedding and the corners of the bathroom are disgusting like they haven't been cleaned in quite some time.

I sent my employee here for business travel. She said it was absolutely disgusting. It smelled of mold and had obvious water damage on the ceiling. There were stains on the carpet, obvious mold in the bathtub, and dust on the fixtures. Save your money. I know this is a "reputable" hotel but until they renovate (which supposedly there are plans to do) I would avoid.

Location was OK. The name made it sound like it would be good. Wow! We paid $150.00 to stay in a room with luke warm water that had NO pressure. There was leftover body wash on the edge of the tub. Not the motel kind, the kind that the would bring from home. I will forever remember the toilet as "the squatty potty". Under the pillow there was a kids hello kitty braclet and necklace with a nurses I.D. The air conditioner worked good. Went down to breakfast too find that it was not included with our stay, it was $8.95 a plate.

Room was not clean junk on the sheets junk on the countertops floors had not been vacuumed and we're absolutely filthy. Wife was fit to be tied. We could have stayed at a Motel 6 that had just been remodeled for basically half the price.

Checked in a little after midnight since my significant other was admitted to the hospital 1.6 miles away. First appearance of the room was great. I filled out my card for breakfast and had it on the door by 0100. (0400 was the latest) I called my S.O. to let home know I was safe and going to sleep. The bed was comfy and I was out! Alarm went off at 0800 but I stayed in bed because I knew breakfast would arrive soon. I fell back asleep and when I woke it was 0950. The carpet was wet because the room air conditioning was leaking. Breakfast never arrived. Went into the bathroom to take a shower and the shower curtain was missing. There was dried blood on the toilet tank. (Not mine) I went to call the front desk but couldn't even do that because the phone was missing. I couldn't take a shower and wash my hair so it was a quick wash up at the sink. I took lots of photos. Went to check out and since I had booked online there is nothing that can be done until a GM is there monday. I found a supercuts nearby and had to go there to get my hair washed...and that was even more money spent. I chose Wyndham because I trust the name. They failed me this time and it was a waste of $139.00

This place is unprofessional. It been an incident that happened to me. I was in parked in the lot and their security guard stopped beside my car and stared at me in my car. Not knowing who or what he was I got spooked out and drove off the property. This man chased me in the hotel car across town harassing me. I finally lost him. So the next morning I called to speak to the manager and she was rude. The point is I understand he was doing his job as security guard it s the point is he didn t have to chase me across town harassing me. Last time I checked he only suppose to partrol the property not harassing beyond private property.

Overall my stay for 3 weeks was not that bad. However, room service would knock on my door even when I put the do not disturb sign up which was unpleasant considering I was working night shifts. Also, the business computers they offered were down for numerous days.

Stay for a few days and I enjoyed my stay. Check in was ok and the group I was with all stayed close together. My room attendant took care of me my entire stay and the entire staff was friendly. Other than the renovations the hotel was pleasant. I would definitely come back the rooms and pool were clean. Renovations to the hotel would put it to five star.

I was in town for my sisters birthday party and anniversary. The front desk clerk was very kind and put use closer to the front because it s hard for us to get around. The staff treated us like family. The restaurant food was excellent. What touched me and my wife the most the nice people that serviced our room. We stayed in room 103 and the housekeeping staff made sure my wife and I were comfortable. Whatever we needed the young man working that floor made sure we had it the manager over the department went out of her way to go bring us ice and bottle water. I would stay 100 times

We were greeted with a very friendly smile & updated lobby. That's where it ended.. We were talked into staying in the "penthouse" for $20 extra dollars that included complimentary breakfast (that was posted at $8.95/per person) and 2 complimentary drinks from the bar that evening! We thought, sure it pays for itself.. however, the drinks were for "buy one get one free" coupons & in the morning no one paid for breakfast that I could see. Not to mention the room was mundane & outdated at best and essentially the same as the others I'm sure, just with a stained house. There were finger prints & smudges all over, A/C leaked, hair on the bed, trash still in the trash can. 2 of the 3 elevators broken, and barring the First Lady we encounter the rest of the staff was pretty cold. I've used Hotwire for years & this is the biggest disappointment.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would not even hesitate. This place was so horrendous that I became vehemently sick. Not only did the customer service suck, but the room service outright refused to do their job. Only once did they perform only a faint shadow of their duties by tucking in the sheet covers and giving us new towels. For the rest of the entire week that was our stay, they never emptied the trash or cleaned the bathroom. On top of all this, all six of our team s room s keys stopped working on multiple occasions and we were subsequently locked out of our rooms. Also, the entire building of the hotel was falling apart at the seams: the elevator groaned and shuttered on every trip, the air conditioner leaked water, and the lobby reeked of cheap cologne. Overall my week was ruined and my disappointment is immeasurable.

Where do I start with this review? We chose this ...

Where do I start with this review? We chose this hotel because we had a very pleasant stay in another Wyndham G in SC and used that as our barometer, and that was the first mistake! This hotel was also close to family we were visiting, so we booked it for our trip. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, the carpet in the hallway was wavy to walk on, let alone try to navigate the luggage on it. The hallway walls were banged up, the elevators were filthy and the floor tiles in the elevator were broken and unrepaired. The ice machine on the second floor was broken, and clearly had been for some time. We had to get ice from the fourth floor, as did the entire 2nd and 3rd floor guests. Our room was decently clean, the housekeeping staff did a nice job but could not make up for the rest of the grossness. The bathroom counter was so rough and damaged over time, there is no way I would let our toothbrushes or personal items come in contact with that surface as pathogens likely proliferated there. Tile floor in the bathroom also damaged cracked and rough (see countertop complaint), the tile in the shower was broken behind the faucet so that water could get behind it, a set-up for mold. The bathtub was gummy and gross to stand on while showering, not sure what was in there! All bathroom caulking was old and damaged. The paint in the bathroom was sloppily applied and paint drips all over. The refrigerator had not been defrosted, huge block of ice in it that then intermittently melted, leaving a big puddle on the floor. I pulled back the sheet and mattress cover to check for bedbugs, found gross dried liquid as brown stains on the mattress and the biggest red stain in the middle of the mattress like hawaiian punch got spilled there. Gross hotel Do not stay here! You can't miss it, it looks like a prison from the outside, felt like one on the inside.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First the front desk staff is rude and very unprofessional. The first room we were given the air conditioner was broke and there was toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror. Went down to tell the front desk and was told "I don't have anyone to send so either move rooms or deal with it". We moved rooms and when we opened the door to our new room the TV was on, window shades were open, and room was not clean. There are light bulbs missing from a wall fixture and lamps, hand prints all over the headboard of the bed, the toilot barely flushes, the mini fridge doesn't work, the water barely gets warm, and the floor is filthy. Let me also add most of the ice machines seem to be broken, the elevator closest to us does not work but didn't have an out of order sign, the one working ice machine had empty beer bottles around it and dirty cottonswabs, and there is an odor of sewage permeating the hotel. Please do not choose this hotel if you have young children with you. It does not feel safe at all!

Let's just say this ruined my experience to ever visit another Wyndham. The place was not clean and for a 100 a night it should have been spotless. Floors felt sticky walls in the bathroom was filthy. Curtains were filthy. The color on the TV was going out the refrigerator was wobbly and temp at 50 f. The only good thing is they had clean sheets so that's good enough for 2 stars.

The worst experience I've had in a long time. Not worth the rate at all. We had no heat in our room. Called the front desk to inform them in order to get fixed or get another room and was told someone will come to check it out. No one ever came up. We slept with coats and hats on. Rooms look 100 years old and service desk personnel are useless.

Room was horrific. When we arrived our AC had no cover on it so wires were hanging everywhere. Tub was filthy and then when I called up front to complain about the toilet backing up I was told ok someone will bring you a plunger. I'm literally still here waiting and its been all of 30 minutes. Wyndham used to have a higher set id standards. This room was filthy!!!

This is easily a four-star hotel. It s in the middle of refurbishing, and has plenty of character inside its walls. There is a exercise room, there is laundry services available inside and outside nearby. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, this is a one stop facility for those needing to relax.

I will update this review later on, but what this is, is four stars right now.

Just what we needed.

Just what we needed.

On a drive from Dallas to Baton Rouge we needed a little spot to crash. I wasn't looking for perfect, just pleasant. Wyndham was a great place for just that. Sure there are quirks to the place but nothing that should turn you away (unless you straight up diva). The lobby seemed modern but the furniture was quite used (no big since I wasn't planning on sleeping in the lobby). The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious and cold (a big plus for my hubby who likes the room crisp). The bed was the right amount of firm and soft with plenty of pillows (homegirl loves her some pillows). The bathroom smelled/looked fresh and clean. I was also glad to see a Whole Foods Market across the street for some clean eating in the morning and healthy snacks for the rest of our road trip.

Overall a great experience.

During a 5 night stay breakfast was only available twice. Toilet and bathtub drain barely worked, everything in the building seems to be held together by band-aids. By far the most disappointing issues was the extreme disrespect the manager shows to him employees. No one should talk to another person the way he does, and the fact that he's so publicly cavalier with it shows his arrogance. On June 26 I heard him mention that he was going to Wyoming for a few days; if it's possible to identify him, he needs a reprimand.

Attempted to cancel several time prior; spent literally hours on hold. Room (generously) was maybe 3 star for a budget room. Spacious and recently remodeled, but with gutted electronics on the a/c, missing smoke detector, poor paint lines in the bathroom, and chopped grout. Good water pressure and hot water. Bed was very uncomfortable, but linens were clean. I won't stay there again.

I left a pair of prescription glasses behind in my room and immediately realized it upon check out. I tried unsuccessfuly for the next few hours to contact the front desk and ask them to get the glasses and hold them so that I could pick them up the next day on my way back through town. 7 calls that went unanswered by the front desk, and a voicemail message to the general manager, did not result in a call back. I finally got ahold of someone the next morning and was told by the housekeeping manager that he would check when the staff came in and call me back. 6 hours later and nothing. I've now driven back to the hotel to see if they can assist me but after being told no one found anything and no other guests have stayed in the room my glasses are nowhere to be found. At best this hotel has a staff that doesn't do their job for several hours at night and late afternoon. At worst they have a staff that literally have no problem being in possession of stolen goods and lying to a customer. This was the hotel chosen by our corporate travel manager but no one from my company will be staying here again.

I called directly to the Hotel and was put on HOLD for 19 Minutes and 34 seconds.
I did not want to hang the phone up because I was afraid that I would have to
start over again and we were to the point that the young woman at the front desk had quoted me the price of the room, non-smoking, handicap, lower level, and had given her my husband's Wyndham Rewards number, and with our AAA or AARP discount. So to play it safe I called
On my husbands cell phone while still on hold on my cell phone. When she answered the phone and I told her I was on the phone still on hold. Well then she told me she was checking a huge group that came in just after I was put on hold, and she took care of them. She could have at least excused herself to the other large group and picked up the phone to complete our reservation and/or told me that she was alone at the front desk and would be with me as fast as possible . No, that didn't happen and then we finally completed.my reservation. Thank goodness. I'm a Cancer patient and we
Just needed a place to rest before going to my doctors and had
Been on the road for sometime. . This is the second time we've had disappointed experiences with a Wyndham affiliated Hotel in the past 48 hours. ?????? I'm wondering what is wrong with the Reservation Department. I will not use the young woman's name for safety and Security reasons .

I went to a wedding reception here and my friend had problems with a woman named Deborah who was with the hotel and set up the tables and what not. My friend said that she was very rude, never letting them get a word in their discussions. Also, she didn't set the ballroom up correctly but they worked that out with only a few obsticals.
At the reception itself, the hotel staff only brought food out once and that was it- even though they called it a buffet. I was never even able to get more than half of the food they origionally had out. They never even brought more drinks out. Once the punch was finished, they only gave us water.
I was not very impressed with anything there that the hotel itself did.

Not near as nice as the pictures. Lobby was nice but the rooms are total garbage. We checked in and walked up to our room and on the sidewalk we needed to walk on there was a busted beer bottle. That beer bottle was still there when we left 3 days later . Also they place a trash can walking up to the rooms which is smart for guest but it had puke all over the front of it (gross). On to the rooms the shower had mold on the grout, the shower leaked all over the floor and didnt shut off so we heard water dripping through the night, there was yellow stuff around our toilet looked like dry yellow pee that was never cleaned. Yuck! As we went to clean up the leaky shower we saw how nasty dirty our bathroom floor was. Our toilet made a horrible noise when we flushed it like it was screaming and the bed creaked really bad when you got in and out of it. Last day we saw roaches in our bathroom under the mirror not babies either they were big. We had a room by the outside door and it was really loud. Only upside to this hotel was the bedding was nice but all in all this hotels needs some updating, a good handyman, someone to take care of outside so guest dont have the smell of puke greeting them or broken glass to walk through. Dont think we will be staying there again. Dissappointing for a Wyndham I thought they were more than a 1 star hotel.

I will never stay here again. The floor wasnt swept. Candle wax dripping down night stand. Hairs in bathroom. It needed dusting so bad. I cleaned the toilet and didnt use the tub. The beds were fine. There were rooms that were gutted right down from us, kinda scary. We head racket all night. The breakfast wasnt worth the price. Wish I had taken pics.

The staff was nice, the part of town the hotel was located in was up and coming. But then, the interior of our room was not that great, our thermostat in the room did not work (so no heating or cooling) and I was really confused about the breakfast. It had a sign said "Breakfast Buffet $8.99" but did not specify whether that was for guests or walk in customers.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First when we attempted to enter our room we found that it was already occupied by a nice serviceman, luckily he didn't shoot us. Our second room had mold in the bathroom and the dresser drawers were literally falling apart. There was also exposed plumbing in the bathroom and other unsanitary issues. The third room was marginally cleaner but had no fridge... we gave up and kept the room for the night. The next day we were awakened by the staff telling us we needed to switch rooms, a room on the same floor as our group had opened up. We were traveling as a team and had reserved a block of rooms together but upon arrival found that there had been a mistake and not all the rooms were together. However, some of our teammates found that they had adjoining rooms that were vacant all night. I never thought it possible to switch rooms three times in two nights. In addition to the room issues there are also safety concerns. The awning in front of the hotel is damaged so they have parked a van sideways in front of the entrance to block traffic from driving underneath. Multiple ice machines were also broken. We also found that some of the entrances could be opened by simply pulling hard on the door and others could not be opened at all from the inside. I'm not sure how that is not a fire code violation. The hotel website AND the menus in the rooms also advertise a full bar but they apparently do not currently have a liquor license, ironic considering the entire situation put us in desperate need of a drink.

Stayed at hotel for conference for work. Pool was "closed for maintenance" but was drained and not being worked on for our entire stay. Staff was not helpful at all. Rooms were dirty and did not include all amenities that were advertised such as microwave and hair dryer. Toilet paper holder and thermostats were falling off of the walls, and holes burned into carpets. 3 of our rooms did not have wash rags and when asked for some at the front desk, we were advised that, "They were not handing them out at that time." One co-worker is still suffering from sinus issues due to having her air conditioner leak onto the carpet for our entire stay. The staff refused to change her room and brought a de-humidifier instead. It's a shame that the hotel is that bad considering the great location it is in.

Attended a function here. The wait staff was not attentive to the needs of the banquet. There were 2 pitchers of drinks for the entire table (they seat 8) which were never refilled. They also were not consistent about picking up dirty dishes. They made 1 round to pick up plates about 45 minutes after dinner and that was it. We had to sit with dirty plates for 2 hours. They stood in the back watching and joking with each other. My husband asked about coffee and was told to ask in the lobby. He went to the lobby and was told coffee is only for guests. Other than that, the space was nice and big enough for our needs. The restrooms were close and clean.

Absolutely terrible experience. When we got there, there was a line out the door of people trying to check in and only one guy at the front desk. We ended up not checking in and going ahead and headed to the event we were there for. When we finally got back and headed up to our room one of the elevators wouldn't even take us to the right floor so we had to get out and get on the other one. Once in our room the room was completely dirty. There was dirt all over the floor, smuges all over the headboard, rust on all the fixtures, goo dripping down the closet door and black gunk spattered across the wall. Worst place I've ever stayed, I would have rathered staying at a motel 6.

Used my Wyndham rewards points where I parked at a beat up sign front row at the fair sized hotel. The front was very loud and annoying do to being understaffed, but since I played cool with the last working she rolled her eyes and so did I about the phone ringing non-stop and said I was one of the people earlier that called lol. When you walk out of the elevator it's a sauna. The stairwell probably sits at 110 degress mid day. The room was ecspecially hot throughout the night on club level. Just get a basic room. The breakfast was good and the manager down there playing the worship music made me feel better about eating my grits that Sunday morning. 3 stars. It was okay. I wouldn't desire to go back.

The staff was very nice and the lobby was nice. Our "non-smoking" hotel room smelled horribly of old cigarette smoke. The carpet in our room was pulled up in different places and it felt old and dirty. This just seems like a really old hotel that they put some new paint up on the walls and called it "remodeled."
